। আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু আবূ ‘আওফা (রাযি.) বলেন, একদা আমরা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর সাথে সফরে গেলাম। তখন তিনি সওম পালনরত ছিলেন। সূর্য ডুবে গেলে তিনি বললেনঃ হে বিলাল! সওয়ারী থেকে নেমে আমাদের জন্য ছাতু তৈরী করে আনো। তিনি বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! সন্ধ্যা হতে দিন। তিনি বললেনঃ সওয়ারী থেকে নেমে আমাদের জন্য ছাতু তৈরী করে আনো। তিনি বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! এখনো তো দিন বাকী আছে। তিনি আবারও বললেনঃ নামো এবং আমাদের জন্য ছাতু বানাও। অতঃপর তিনি নেমে ছাতু তৈরী করলেন। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তা পান করে বললেনঃ যখন তোমরা এদিক (পূর্বদিক) থেকে রাতের অন্ধকার ঘনিয়ে আসতে দেখবে তখনই সওম পালনকারীর ইফতার করবে। তিনি তাঁর আঙ্গুল দিয়ে পূর্বদিকে ইঙ্গিত করে দেখালেন।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated 'Abd Allah b. Abi Awfa:
We went along with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while he was fasting. When the sun set, he said to Bilal: Bilal, come down and prepare barley beverage for us. He said: Messenger of Allah, would that you waited for the evening. He said: Come down and prepare barley beverage for us. He said: Messenger of Allah, the say still remains on you (i.e. there remains the brightness of the day). He said: Come down and prepare barley drink for us. So he came down and prepared barley drink. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) drank it and said: When you see that the night approaches from this side, he who fasts has reached the time to break it ; and he pointed to the east with his finger
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ - رضى الله عنها - أَنَا وَمَسْرُوقٌ فَقُلْنَا يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَجُلاَنِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَحَدُهُمَا يُعَجِّلُ الإِفْطَارَ وَيُعَجِّلُ الصَّلاَةَ وَالآخَرُ يُؤَخِّرُ الإِفْطَارَ وَيُؤَخِّرُ الصَّلاَةَ قَالَتْ أَيُّهُمَا يُعَجِّلُ الإِفْطَارَ وَيُعَجِّلُ الصَّلاَةَ قُلْنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ . قَالَتْ كَذَلِكَ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
। আবূ ‘আতিয়্যাহ (রহ.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, একদা আমি ও মাসরূক (রহ.) ‘আয়িশাহ্ (রাঃ)-এর নিকট গিয়ে বলি, হে উম্মুল মু‘মিনীন! মুহাম্মাদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম দুইজন সাহাবীর একজন সূর্যাস্তের সাথে সাথে ইফতার করেন এবং খুব তাড়াতাড়ি (মাগরিবের) সালাত আদায় করে নেন। আর দ্বিতীয়জন বিলম্বে ইফতার করেন এবং সালাতও বিলম্বে আদায় করেন। তিনি বললেন, তাদের মধ্যে কে ইফতার অনতিবিলম্বে করেন এবং সালাত তাড়াতাড়ি আদায় করেন? আমরা বললাম, তিনি হচ্ছেন আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসঊদ (রাযি.)। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এরূপই করতেন।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated Abu 'Atiyyah:
I and Masruq entered upon 'Aishah and we said: Mother of believers, there are two persons from the Companions of the Muhammad (ﷺ). One of them hastens to break the fast and hastens to pray while the other delays to break the fast and delays praying. She asked: Which of them hastens to break the fast and hasten to pray ? We replied: 'Abd Allah (b. Mas'ud). She said: Thus did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) do
। ‘আসিম ইবনু উমার (রাযি.) থেকে তার পিতার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যখন এদিক (পূর্বদিকে) থেকে রাত আসে এবং এদিক(পশ্চিম দিক) থেকে দিন তিরোহিত হয় অর্থাৎ সূর্য অস্তমিত যায়, তখন সওম পালনকারীর ইফতারের সময়।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated 'Umar:
The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: When the night approaches from this side and the day retreats on that side, and the sun sets - according to the version of Musaddad - he who fasts has reached the time to break it
