। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযি.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যখন তোমাদের কেউ ফজরের আযান শুনতে পায় অথচ খাবারের পাত্র তার হাতে থাকে, সে যেন তা রেখে না দেয় যতক্ষণ না তার প্রয়োজন পূরন হয়।[1] হাসান সহীহ।
Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any of you hears the summons to prayer while he has a vessel in his hand, he should not lay it down till he fulfils his need
। ‘আদী ইবনু হাতিম (রাযি.) সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, যখন এ আয়াত অবতীর্ণ হলোঃ ‘তোমরা পানাহার করো যতক্ষণ না রাতের কালো সুতা থেকে ভোরের সাদা সুতা (রেখা) স্পষ্টরূপে তোমাদের নিকট প্রতিভাত হয়’’ (সূরা আল-বাকারাহঃ ১৮৭)। তখন আমি একটি কালো ও একটি সাদা রংয়ের সুতা নিয়ে আমার বালিশের নীচে রাখি। এরপর আমি তা দেখতে থাকি কিন্তু তা স্পষ্টভাবে দেখতে পেলাম না। আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কাছে গিয়ে বিষয়টি উল্লেখ করলে তিনি হেসে হেসে উঠলেন এবং বললেনঃ বালিশ তো দৈঘ্য প্রস্থকারী। বরং এটা হচ্ছে রাত ও দিন। উসমানের বর্ণনায় রয়েছেঃ তা তো রাতের অন্ধকার এবং দিনের শুভ্রতা।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated 'Adi b. Hatim:
When the verse "Until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread" was revealed, I took a white rope and a black rope, and placed them beneath my pillow ; and then I looked at them, byt they were not clear to me. So I mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He laughed and said: Your pillow is so broad and lengthy ; that is (i.e. means) night and day. The version of the narrator 'Uthman has: That is the blackness of night and whiteness of day
। ‘আসিম ইবনু উমার (রাযি.) থেকে তার পিতার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যখন এদিক (পূর্বদিকে) থেকে রাত আসে এবং এদিক(পশ্চিম দিক) থেকে দিন তিরোহিত হয় অর্থাৎ সূর্য অস্তমিত যায়, তখন সওম পালনকারীর ইফতারের সময়।[1] সহীহ।
Narrated 'Umar:
The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: When the night approaches from this side and the day retreats on that side, and the sun sets - according to the version of Musaddad - he who fasts has reached the time to break it
। কায়িস ইবনু তালক (রহ.) থেকে তার পিতার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ খাও এবং পান করো। ঊর্ধ্বাকাশে ভোরের যে লম্বা রেখা ফুটে উঠে, তা যেন তোমাদেরকে (সাহারী খাওয়া থেকে) বিরত না রাখে। সুতরাং আকাশের দিগন্তে লাল রঙ্গের ফর্সা ফুটে উঠা পর্যন্ত তোমরা খাও এবং পান করো।[1] হাসান সহীহ।
Narrated Talq ibn Ali al-Yamami:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Eat and drink; let not the white and ascending light prevent you from (eating and drinking); so eat and drink until the red light spreads horizontally
