। আবূ হুরাইরা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি বলেন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ দুনিয়া (পার্থিব জীবন) মু'মিনদের জন্য কারাগারস্বরূপ এবং কাফিরদের জন্য জান্নাতস্বরূপ। সহীহ, মুসলিম (৮/২১০)। আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আমর (রাঃ) হতেও এ অনুচ্ছেদে হাদীস বর্ণিত আছে। আবূ ঈসা বলেন, এ হাদীসটি হাসান সহীহ।
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:"The world is a prison for the believer and Paradise for the disbeliever
। বানু ফিহরের মুসতাওরিদ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ দুনিয়া আখিরাতের তুলনায় এতটুকু, যেমন তোমাদের কেউ সমুদ্রের পানিতে তার একটি আঙ্গুল ডুবিয়ে তুলে আনল। সে দেখুক তার আঙ্গুল কতটুকু পানি নিয়ে ফিরেছে। সহীহ, ইবনু মা-জাহ (৪১০৮), মুসলিম। আবূ ঈসা বলেন, এ হাদীসটি হাসান সহীহ। ইসমাঈল ইবনু আবূ খালিদের উপনাম আবূ আবদুল্লাহ। কাইসের পিতা আবূ হাযিম, তার নাম আবদ ইবনু আওফ, তিনি সাহাবী।
Qa'is bin Abi Hazim said:I heard Mustawrid, a member of Banu Fihr, saying: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "The world compared to the Hereafter is but like what one of you gets when placing his finger into the sea, so look at what you draw from it
। আবূ কাবশা আল-আনমারী (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে বলতে শুনেছেনঃ আমি তিনটি বিষয়ে শপথ করছি এবং সেগুলোর ব্যাপারে তোমাদেরকে বলছি। তোমরা এগুলো মনে রাখবে। তিনি বলেন, দান-খাইরাত করলে কোন বান্দার সম্পদ হ্রাস পায় না। কোন বান্দার উপর যুলুম করা হলে এবং সে তাতে ধৈর্য ধারণ করলে আল্লাহ তা'আলা অবশ্যই তার সম্মান বাড়িয়ে দেন। কোন বান্দাহ ভিক্ষার দরজা খুললে অবশ্যই আল্লাহ তা'আলাও তার অভাবের দরজা খুলে দেন অথবা তিনি অনুরূপ কথা বলেছেন। আমি তোমাদেরকে একটি কথা বলছি, তোমরা তা মুখস্থ রাখবে। তারপর তিনি বলেনঃ চার প্রকার মানুষের জন্য এই পৃথিবী। আল্লাহ তা'আলা যে বান্দাহকে ধন-সম্পদ ও ইলম (জ্ঞান) দিয়েছেন, আর সে এই ক্ষেত্রে তার প্রভুকে ভয় করে, এর সাহায্যে আত্মীয়দের সাথে সৌজন্যমূলক ব্যবহার করে এবং এতে আল্লাহ তা'আলারও হক আছে বলে সে জানে, সেই বান্দার মর্যাদা সর্বোচ্চ। আরেক বান্দাহ, যাকে আল্লাহ তা'আল ইলম দিয়েছেন কিন্তু ধন-সম্পদ দেননি সে সৎ নিয়াতের (সংকল্পের) অধিকারী। সে বলে, আমার ধন-সম্পদ থাকলে আমি অমুক অমুক ভালো কাজ করতাম। এই ধরনের লোকের মর্যাদা তার নিয়্যাত মুতাবিক নির্ধারিত হবে। এ দুজনেরই সাওয়াব সমান সমান হবে। আরেক বান্দাহ, আল্লাহ তা'আলা তাকে ধন-সম্পদ প্রদান করেছেন কিন্তু ইলম দান করেননি। আর সে ইলমহীন (জ্ঞানহীন) হওয়ার কারণে তার সম্পদ স্বীয় প্রবৃত্তির চাহিদা মতো ব্যয় করে। সে ব্যক্তি এ বিষয়ে তার রবকেও ভয় করে না এবং আত্মীয়দের সাথে সৌজন্যমূলক ব্যবহারও করে না। আর এতে যে আল্লাহ তা'আলার হক রয়েছে তাও সে জানে না। এই লোক সর্বাধিক নিকৃষ্ট স্তরের লোক। অপর এক বান্দাহ, যাকে আল্লাহ তা'আলা ধন-সম্পদও দান করেননি, ইলমও দান করেননি। সে বলে, আমার যদি ধন-সম্পদ থাকত তাহলে আমি অমুক অমুক ব্যক্তির ন্যায় (প্রবৃত্তির বাসনামতো) কাজ করতাম। তার নিয়্যাত মুতাবিক তার স্থান নির্ধারিত হবে। অতএব, এদের দুজনের পাপ হবে সমান সমান। সহীহ, ইবনু মা-জাহ (৪২২৮)। আবূ ঈসা বলেন, এ হাদীসটি হাসান সহীহ।
Abu Kabshah Al-Anmari narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:"There are three things for which I swear and narrate to you about, so remember it." He said: "The wealth of a slave (of Allah) shall not be decreased by charity, no slave (of Allah) suffers injustice and is patient with it except that Allah adds to his honor; no slave (of Allah) opens up a door to begging except that Allah opens a door for him to poverty"- or a statement similar- "And I shall narrate to you a narration, so remember it." He said: "The world is only for four persons: A slave whom Allah provides with wealth and knowledge, so he has Taqwa of his Lord with it, nurtures the ties of kinship with it, and he knows that Allah has a right in it. So this is the most virtuous rank. And a slave whom Allah provides with knowledge, but He does not provide with wealth. So he has a truthful intent, saying: 'If I had wealth, then I would do the deeds of so-and-so with it.' He has his intention, so their rewards are the same. And a slave whom Allah provides with wealth, but He does not provide him with knowledge. [So he] spends his wealth rashly without knowledge, nor having Taqwa of his Lord, nor nurturing the ties of kinship, and he does not know that Allah has a right in it. So this is the most despicable rank. And a slave whom Allah does not provide with wealth nor knowledge, so he says: 'If I had wealth, then I would do the deeds of so-and-so with it.' He has his intention, so their sin is the same
। আবূ হুরাইরা (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে বলতে শুনেছিঃ দুনিয়া ও তার মাঝের সকলকিছুই অভিশপ্ত, কিন্তু আল্লাহ্ তা'আলার যিকির ও তার সাথে সংগতিপূর্ণ অন্যান্য আমল, আলিম ও ইলম অন্বেষণকারী এর ব্যতিক্রম। হাসান, ইবনু মা-জাহ (৪১১২)। আবূ ঈসা বলেন, এ হাদীসটি হাসান গরীব।
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:"Lo! Indeed the world is cursed. What is in it is cursed, except for remembrance of Allah, what is conducive to that, the knowledgeable person and the learning person
