। ইবনু উমার (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে লোক দান করার পর তা আবার ফিরিয়ে নেয় সে কুকুর সমতুল্য, যে পেট ভরে খাওয়ার পর বমি করে, আবার ফিরে এসে তা খায়। সহীহ, ইরওয়া (৬/৩৬), বুখারী, মুসলিম সংক্ষিপ্ত ভাবে। আবূ ঈসা বলেন, ইবনু আব্বাস ও আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আমর (রাঃ) হতেও এ অনুচ্ছেদে হাদীস বর্ণিত আছে।
Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W)said:"The parable of the one who gives a gift, and then takes it back, is that of a dog who eats until he is full, and vomits, then he returns to [take back] his vomit." । আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, নবী রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ তোমরা একজন অন্যজনকে উপহার দাও। উপহার মনের ময়লা দূর করে। এক প্রতিবেশিনী অপর প্রতিবেশিনীকে বকরীর পায়ের এক টুকরা ক্ষুর হলেও তা উপহার দিতে যেন অবহেলা না করে। (যঈফ, মিশকাত ৩০২৮ হাদীসের ২য় অংশ এক প্রতিবেশিনী শেষ.. শেষ পর্যন্ত সহীহ, বুখারী, মুসলিম।) আবূ ঈসা বলেনঃ উল্লেখিত সনদসূত্রে এ হাদীসটি গারীব। একদল বিশেষজ্ঞ আলিম আবূ মা’শারের স্মরণশক্তির সমালোচনা করেছেন। আবূ মা’শারের নাম নাজীহ, বানু হাশিমের মুক্তদাস।
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said:"Give gifts, for indeed the gift removes bad feelings from the chest. And let the neighbor not look down upon (the gift of) her neighbor, even if it be the lower shanks of sheep." [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Gharib from this route. । ইবনু উমার ও ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ উপহার প্রদানের পর তা আবার ফিরিয়ে নেয়া কারো জন্য বৈধ নয়। তবে পিতা তার সন্তানকে দেয়া উপহার ফিরিয়ে নিতে পারে। উপহার প্রদানের বা দানের পর তা পুনরায় যে লোক ফিরিয়ে নেয় সে লোক কুকুর সমতুল্য। যেমন কুকুর পেট ভরে খাওয়ার পর বমি করে এবং তা আবার ভক্ষণ করে। সহীহ, দেখুন পূর্বের হাদীস। আবূ ঈসা বলেন, এ হাদীসটি হাসান সহীহ। ইমাম শাফিঈ বলেন, যে ব্যক্তি দান করে তার জন্য তার দানকৃত বস্তু পুনরায় ফিরিয়ে নেয়া বৈধ নয়। তবে পিতার জন্য তা বৈধ অর্থাৎ সে তার সন্তানকে কিছু দান করে তা আবার ফিরিয়ে নিতে পারে। এ হাদীসটি ইমাম শাফিঈ তার মতের অনুকূলে দলীল হিসাবে গ্রহণ করেছেন।
Ibn 'Umar and Ibn 'Abbas narrated the Marfu Hadith:"It is not lawful for a man to give a gift and then take it back, except in the case of the father with what he gave to his son. And the parable of the one who gives a gift, and then takes it back, is that of a dog who eats until he is full, and vomits, then he returns to his vomit." [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. Ash-Shafi'i said: "It is not lawful for one who confers something to take it back, except in the case of the father. He may take back what he gave his son" and he used this Hadith as proof
