। ইবনু উমার (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে আমি বলতে শুনেছিঃ সর্বাধিক সাওয়াবের কাজ হচ্ছে বাবার বন্ধু-বান্ধবদের সাথেও সম্পর্ক বজায় রাখা। সহীহ, যঈফা (২০৮৯), মুসলিম। আবূ উসাইদ (রাঃ) হতেও এ অনুচ্ছেদে হাদীস বর্ণিত আছে। আবূ ঈসা বলেন, এ হাদীসের সনদ সহীহ। এ হাদীসটি ইবনু উমার (রাঃ) হতে অন্যান্য সূত্রেও বর্ণিত হয়েছে।
Ibn 'Umar narrated that :the Prophet said: "Among the most dutiful of deeds is that a man nurture relations with the people his father was friends with
। আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আমর (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ কোন ব্যক্তি কর্তৃক তার বাবা-মাকে গালিগালাজ করা কাবীরা গুনাহ৷ সাহাবীগণ বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম)। কেউ কি তার মা-বাবাকে গালিগালাজ করতে পারে? তিনি বললেনঃ হ্যাঁ। কোন লোক অন্য কারো বাবাকে গালি দেয়। এর উত্তরে সেও তার বাবাকে গালি দেয়। সে অন্য কারো মাকে গালি দেয়। এর উত্তরে ঐ ব্যক্তিও তার মাকে গালি দেয়। সহীহ, তা’লীকুর রাগীব (৩/২২১)। আবূ ঈসা বলেন, এ হাদীসটি হাসান সহীহ।
Abdullah bin 'Amr narrated that :the Messenger of Allah said: "It is among the greatest of sins that a man should curse his parents." They said: "O Messenger of Allah! Does a man curse his parents?" He said: "Yes. He verbally abuses the father of a man, who in turn, verbally abuses his father, and he (retaliates and) curses his mother , so he curses his mother
(Another chain) From Ibn 'Umar:A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have been afflicted by a tremendous sin. Is there any repentance for me?" He said: "Do you have your mother?" The man said: "No." He said: "Do you have any maternal aunts?" The man said: "Yes." He said: "Then be dutiful to them
