Hadith 25

عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَيْضًا، أَنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَالُوا لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه و سلم يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَهَبَ أَهْلُ الدُّثُورِ بِالْأُجُورِ؛ يُصَلُّونَ كَمَا نُصَلِّي، وَيَصُومُونَ كَمَا نَصُومُ، وَيَتَصَدَّقُونَ بِفُضُولِ أَمْوَالِهِمْ. قَالَ: أَوَلَيْسَ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ مَا تَصَّدَّقُونَ؟ إنَّ بِكُلِّ تَسْبِيحَةٍ صَدَقَةً، وَكُلِّ تَكْبِيرَةٍ صَدَقَةً، وَكُلِّ تَحْمِيدَةٍ صَدَقَةً، وَكُلِّ تَهْلِيلَةٍ صَدَقَةً، وَأَمْرٌ بِمَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ، وَنَهْيٌ عَنْ مُنْكَرٍ صَدَقَةٌ، وَفِي بُضْعِ أَحَدِكُمْ صَدَقَةٌ. قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيَأْتِي أَحَدُنَا شَهْوَتَهُ وَيَكُونُ لَهُ فِيهَا أَجْرٌ؟ قَالَ: أَرَأَيْتُمْ لَوْ وَضَعَهَا فِي حَرَامٍ أَكَانَ عَلَيْهِ وِزْرٌ؟ فَكَذَلِكَ إذَا وَضَعَهَا فِي الْحَلَالِ، كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرٌ . [رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ]

আবূ যর (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহর কিছু সাহাবী নবী (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম)-কে বলেনঃ "হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! বিত্তবান লোকেরা প্রতিফল ও সওয়াবের কাজে এগিয়ে গেছে। আমরা নামায পড়ি তারাও সেরকম নামায পড়ে, আমরা রোযা রাখি তারাও সেরকম রোযা রাখে, তারা প্রয়োজনের অতিরিক্ত অর্থ সদকা করে। তিনি বলেনঃ আল্লাহ্ কি তোমাদের জন্য এমন জিনিস রাখেননি যে তোমরা সদকাহ্ দিতে পার। প্রত্যেক তাসবীহ্ (সোবহান আল্লাহ্) হচ্ছে সদকাহ্, প্রত্যেক তাকবীর (আল্লাহু আকবার) হচ্ছে সদকাহ্, প্রত্যেক তাহমীদ (আলহামদুলিল্লাহ্) হচ্ছে সদকাহ্, প্রত্যেক তাহলীল (লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ্) হচ্ছে সদকাহ্, প্রত্যেক ভালো কাজের হুকুম দেয়া হচ্ছে সদকাহ্ এবং মন্দ কাজ থেকে বিরত করা হচ্ছে সদকাহ্। আর তোমাদের প্রত্যেকে আপন স্ত্রীর সাথে সহবাস করাও হচ্ছে সদকাহ্। তারা জিজ্ঞাসা করেনঃ হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আমাদের মধ্যে কেউ যখন যৌন আকাঙ্খা সহকারে স্ত্রীর সাথে সম্ভোগ করে, তাতেও কি সওয়াব হবে? তিনি বলেনঃ তোমরা কি দেখ না, যখন সে হারাম পদ্ধতিতে তা করে, তখন সে গোনাহগার হয় কি না! সুতরাং অনুরূপভাবে যখন সে ঐ কাজ বৈধভাবে করে তখন সে তার জন্য প্রতিফল ও সওয়াব পাবে।" [মুসলিমঃ]

Also on the authority of Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him): Some people from amongst the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah, the affluent have made off with the rewards; they pray as we pray, they fast as we fast, and they give [much] in charity by virtue of their wealth." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Has not Allah made things for you to give in charity? Truly every tasbeehah [saying: 'subhan-Allah'] is a charity, and every takbeerah [saying: 'Allahu akbar'] is a charity, and every tahmeedah [saying: 'al-hamdu lillah'] is a charity, and every tahleelah [saying: 'laa ilaha illAllah'] is a charity. And commanding the good is a charity, and forbidding an evil is a charity, and in the bud`i [sexual act] of each one of you there is a charity." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, when one of us fulfils his carnal desire will he have some reward for that?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do you not see that if he were to act upon it [his desire] in an unlawful manner then he would be deserving of punishment? Likewise, if he were to act upon it in a lawful manner then he will be deserving of a reward." [Muslim]

Hadith 24

عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ الْغِفَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه و سلم فِيمَا يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا عِبَادِي: إنِّي حَرَّمْت الظُّلْمَ عَلَى نَفْسِي، وَجَعَلْته بَيْنَكُمْ مُحَرَّمًا؛ فَلَا تَظَالَمُوا. يَا عِبَادِي! كُلُّكُمْ ضَالٌّ إلَّا مَنْ هَدَيْته، فَاسْتَهْدُونِي أَهْدِكُمْ. يَا عِبَادِي! كُلُّكُمْ جَائِعٌ إلَّا مَنْ أَطْعَمْته، فَاسْتَطْعِمُونِي أُطْعِمْكُمْ. يَا عِبَادِي! كُلُّكُمْ عَارٍ إلَّا مَنْ كَسَوْته، فَاسْتَكْسُونِي أَكْسُكُمْ. يَا عِبَادِي! إنَّكُمْ تُخْطِئُونَ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ، وَأَنَا أَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا؛ فَاسْتَغْفِرُونِي أَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ. يَا عِبَادِي! إنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَبْلُغُوا ضُرِّي فَتَضُرُّونِي، وَلَنْ تَبْلُغُوا نَفْعِي فَتَنْفَعُونِي. يَا عِبَادِي! لَوْ أَنَّ أَوَّلَكُمْ وَآخِرَكُمْ وَإِنْسَكُمْ وَجِنَّكُمْ كَانُوا عَلَى أَتْقَى قَلْبِ رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُمْ، مَا زَادَ ذَلِكَ فِي مُلْكِي شَيْئًا. يَا عِبَادِي! لَوْ أَنَّ أَوَّلَكُمْ وَآخِرَكُمْ وَإِنْسَكُمْ وَجِنَّكُمْ كَانُوا عَلَى أَفْجَرِ قَلْبِ رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُمْ، مَا نَقَصَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ مُلْكِي شَيْئًا. يَا عِبَادِي! لَوْ أَنَّ أَوَّلَكُمْ وَآخِرَكُمْ وَإِنْسَكُمْ وَجِنَّكُمْ قَامُوا فِي صَعِيدٍ وَاحِدٍ، فَسَأَلُونِي، فَأَعْطَيْت كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مَسْأَلَته، مَا نَقَصَ ذَلِكَ مِمَّا عِنْدِي إلَّا كَمَا يَنْقُصُ الْمِخْيَطُ إذَا أُدْخِلَ الْبَحْرَ. يَا عِبَادِي! إنَّمَا هِيَ أَعْمَالُكُمْ أُحْصِيهَا لَكُمْ، ثُمَّ أُوَفِّيكُمْ إيَّاهَا؛ فَمَنْ وَجَدَ خَيْرًا فَلْيَحْمَدْ اللَّهَ، وَمَنْ وَجَدَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَلَا يَلُومَن إلَّا نَفْسَهُ . [رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ]

আবূ যর আল-গিফারী (রাঃ) তিনি বর্ণনা করেছেন, নবী (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) তাঁর বরকতময় ও সুমহান রবের নিকট হতে বর্ণনা করেন যে, আল্লাহ্ বলেছেনঃ "হে আমার বান্দাগণ! আমি যুলুমকে আমার জন্য হারাম করে দিয়েছি, আর তা তোমাদের মধ্যেও হারাম করে দিয়েছি; অতএব তোমরা একে অপরের উপর যুলুম করো না। হে আমার বান্দাগণ! আমি যাকে হেদায়াত দিয়েছি সে ছাড়া তোমরা সকলেই পথভ্রষ্ট। সুতরাং আমার কাছে হেদায়াত চাও, আমি তোমাদের হেদায়াত দান করব। হে আমার বান্দাগণ! আমি যাকে অন্ন দান করেছি, সে ছাড়া তোমরা সকলেই ক্ষুধার্ত। সুতরাং তোমরা আমার নিকট খাদ্য চাও, আমি তোমাদের খাদ্য দান করব। হে আমার বান্দাগণ! তোমরা সবাই বিবস্ত্র, সে ব্যতীত যাকে আমি কাপড় পরিয়েছি। সুতরাং আমার কাছে বস্ত্র চাও, আমি তোমাদেরকে বস্ত্রদান করব। হে আমার বান্দাগণ! তোমরা রাতদিন গোনাহ্ করছ, আর আমি তোমাদের গোনাহ্ ক্ষমা করে দেই। সুতরাং আমার কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর, আমি তোমাদের ক্ষমা করে দেব। হে আমার বান্দাগণ! তোমরা কখনোই আমার ক্ষতি করার সামর্থ রাখ না যে আমার ক্ষতি করবে আর তোমরা কখনোই আমার ভালো করার ক্ষমতা রাখ না যে আমার ভালো করবে। হে আমার বান্দাগণ! তোমরা পূর্বাপর সকল মানুষ ও জিন যদি তোমাদের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বড় মোত্তাকী ও পরহেযগার ব্যক্তির হৃদয়ের মত হয়ে যায়, তবে তা আমার রাজত্বে কিছুই বৃদ্ধি করবে না। আমার বান্দাগণ! তোমাদের পূর্বাপর সকল মানুষ ও জিন যদি তোমাদের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে পাপী ব্যক্তির হৃদয়ের মত হয়ে যায়, তবে তা আমার রাজত্বে কিছুই কমাতে পারবে না। হে আমার বান্দাগণ! তোমাদের পূর্বের ও তোমাদের পরের সকলে, তোমাদের সমস্ত মানুষ ও তোমাদের সমস্ত জিন যদি সবাই একই ময়দানে দাঁড়িয়ে আমার কাছে চায় এবং আমি সকলের চাওয়া পূরণ করে দেই তবে আমার নিকট যা আছে তাতে সমুদ্রে এক সুঁই রাখলে যতটা কম হয়ে যায় তা ব্যতীত আর কিছু কম হতে পারে না। হে আমার বান্দাগণ! আমি তোমাদের আমলকে (কাজকে) তোমাদের জন্য গণনা করে রাখি, আর আমি তার পুরোপুরি প্রতিফল দিয়ে দেব। সুতরাং যে ব্যক্তি উত্তম প্রতিফল পাবে তার আল্লাহর প্রশংসা করা উচিত, আর যে তার বিপরীত পাবে তার শুধু নিজেকেই ধিক্কার দেয়া উচিত।" [মুসলিমঃ]

On the authority of Abu Dharr al-Ghifaree (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from his Lord, that He said: O My servants! I have forbidden dhulm (oppression) for Myself, and I have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except those whom I have guided, so seek guidance from Me and I shall guide you. O My servants, all of you are hungry except those whom I have fed, so seek food from Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except those whom I have clothed, so seek clothing from Me and I shall clothe you. O My servants, you commit sins by day and by night, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness from Me and I shall forgive you. O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and you will not attain benefiting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all as pious as the most pious heart of any individual amongst you, then this would not increase My Kingdom an iota. O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all as wicked as the most wicked heart of any individual amongst you, then this would not decrease My Kingdom an iota. O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all to stand together in one place and ask of Me, and I were to give everyone what he requested, then that would not decrease what I Possess, except what is decreased of the ocean when a needle is dipped into it. O My servants, it is but your deeds that I account for you, and then recompense you for. So he who finds good, let him praise Allah, and he who finds other than that, let him blame no one but himself. [Muslim]

Hadith 26

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم كُلُّ سُلَامَى مِنْ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهِ صَدَقَةٌ، كُلَّ يَوْمٍ تَطْلُعُ فِيهِ الشَّمْسُ تَعْدِلُ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَتُعِينُ الرَّجُلَ فِي دَابَّتِهِ فَتَحْمِلُهُ عَلَيْهَا أَوْ تَرْفَعُ لَهُ عَلَيْهَا مَتَاعَهُ صَدَقَةٌ، وَالْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ صَدَقَةٌ، وَبِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ تَمْشِيهَا إلَى الصَّلَاةِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَتُمِيطُ الْأَذَى عَنْ الطَّرِيقِ صَدَقَةٌ .
[رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ] ، [وَمُسْلِمٌ]

আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ্ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেনঃ "প্রত্যেহ যখন সূর্য উঠে মানুষের (শরীরের) প্রত্যেক গ্রন্থির সাদকাহ্ দেয়া অবশ্য কর্তব্য। দু'জন মানুষের মাঝে ইনসাফ করা হচ্ছে সাদকাহ্, কোন আরোহীকে তার বাহনের উপর আরোহন করতে বা তার উপর বোঝা উঠাতে সাহায্য করা হচ্ছে সাদকাহ্, ভাল কথা হচ্ছে সাদকাহ্, সালাতের জন্য প্রত্যেক পদক্ষেপ হচ্ছে সাদকাহ্ এবং কষ্টদায়ক জিনিস রাস্তা থেকে সরানো হচ্ছে সাদকাহ্।" [বুখারীঃ ২৯৮৯, মুসলিমঃ]

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Every joint of a person must perform a charity each day that the sun rises: to judge justly between two people is a charity. To help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it, is a charity. And the good word is a charity. And every step that you take towards the prayer is a charity, and removing a harmful object from the road is a charity.” [Al-Bukhari] [Muslim]

Hadith 23

عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم الطَّهُورُ شَطْرُ الْإِيمَانِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلَأُ الْمِيزَانَ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلَآنِ -أَوْ: تَمْلَأُ- مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ نُورٌ، وَالصَّدَقَةُ بُرْهَانٌ، وَالصَّبْرُ ضِيَاءٌ، وَالْقُرْآنُ حُجَّةٌ لَك أَوْ عَلَيْك، كُلُّ النَّاسِ يَغْدُو، فَبَائِعٌ نَفْسَهُ فَمُعْتِقُهَا أَوْ مُوبِقُهَا . [رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ]

আবূ মালেক আল-হারেস ইবন আসেম আল-আশ'আরী (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ্ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেনঃ "পবিত্রতা ঈমানের অর্ধেক; আল-হামদুলিল্লাহ্ (সমস্ত প্রশংসা কেবলমাত্র আল্লাহর জন্য) [বললে] পাল্লা পরিপূর্ণ করে দেয় এবং “সুবহানাল্লাহ ওয়াল-হামদুলিল্লাহ্ (আল্লাহ্ কতই না পবিত্র! এবং সমস্ত প্রশংসা কেবলমাত্র আল্লাহর জন্য) উভয়ে অথবা এর একটি আসমান ও যমীনের মাঝখান পূর্ণ করে দেয়। নামায হচ্ছে আলো, সাদকা হচ্ছে প্রমাণ, সবর উজ্জ্বল আলো, আর কুরআন তোমার পক্ষে অথবা বিপক্ষে প্রমাণ। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি আপন আত্মার ক্রয়-বিক্রয়ের মাধ্যমে সকাল শুরু করে- আর তা হয় তাকে মুক্ত করে দেয় অথবা তাকে ধ্বংস করে দেয়।" [মুসলিমঃ]

On the authority of Abu Malik al-Harith bin Asim al-Asharee (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Purity is half of iman (faith). ‘Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah)’ fills the scales, and ‘subhan-Allah (how far is Allah from every imperfection) and ‘Al-hamdulillah (praise be to Allah)’ fill that which is between heaven and earth. And the salah (prayer) is a light, and charity is a proof, and patience is illumination, and the Qur’an is a proof either for you or against you. Every person starts his day as a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or causing its ruin.” [Muslim]
