। কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... আবদ খায়র (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ আমরা আলী ইবনু আবূ তালিব (রাঃ) এর নিকট এলাম। এমতাবস্থায় যে, তিনি সালাত (নামায/নামাজ) আদায় করে ফেলেছেন। (আমাদেরকে দেখে) তিনি উযূর পানি আনতে বলেন। আমরা বললাম, তিনি তো সালাত আদায় করেছেন, এখন পানি দিয়ে কি করবেন? (পরে বুঝলাম) তিনি আমাদেরকে উযূ (ওজু/অজু/অযু) শিক্ষা দেওয়ার জন্যই এরূপ করেছেন। তাঁর হুকুম অনুযায়ী পানি ভর্তি একটি পাত্র ও অন্য একটি পাত্র আনা হল। তিনি পাত্র হতে হাতে পানি ঢেলে তিনবার হাত ধৌত করলেন। এরপর ডান হাতে পানি নিয়ে তিনবার কুলি করেন এবং ঐ পানির কিছু অংশ দিয়েই নাক ঝাড়েন তিনবার করে। এর পর তিন বার মুখমণ্ডল ধৌত করলেন। তার পর ডান ও বাম হাত তিনবার করে ধৌত করেন এবং একবার মাথা মাসেহ করেন। পরে ডান পা ও বাম পা তিনবার করে ধৌত করেন এবং বলেনঃ যে ব্যাক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর উযূ জানতে আগ্রহী, সে জেনে রাখুক এটাই তাঁর উযূ।
It was narrated that 'Abd Khair said:"We came to 'Ali bin Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, and he had prayed. He called for water and we said: 'What is he going to do with it when he has (already) prayed? He only wants to teach us.' A vessel of water and a basin were brought to him. He poured some water onto his hand and washed it three times, then he rinsed his mouth and nose three times from the hand with which he took the water. Then he washed his face three times, and he washed his right hand three times, and his left hand three times, and wiped his head once, then he washed his right foot three times and his left foot three times. Then he said: 'Whoever would like to learn how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did Wudu', this is it
। মূসা ইবনু আবদুর রহমান (রহঃ) ... আলী (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি পানি আনতে বললেন, পরে তিনি কুলি করেন এবং নাকে পানি দেন। বামহাতে নাক ঝাড়েন। তিনবার এরূপ করেন। পরে বলেনঃ এই হল নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর উযূ (ওজু/অজু/অযু)।
It was narrated that 'Ali called for (water for) Wudu', then he rinsed his mouth and nose, and he sniffed up water and blew it out using his left hand. He did that three times, then he said:"This is how the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) purified himself
। সুওয়ায়দ ইবনু নাসর (রহঃ) ... আলী (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তাঁর নিকট একটি বসার চৌকি নিয়ে আসা হয় এবং তিনি তাতে বসেন। পরে পানিভর্তি একটি পাত্র আনতে বলেন। (পানি আনা হলে) তিনি উভয় হাতের উপর পাত্রটি কাত করে তিনবার করে পানি ঢালেন। পরে এক-এক অঞ্জলি পানি দ্বারা তিনবার কুলি করেন ও নাকে পানি দেন এবং তিনবার মুখমন্ডল ধৌত করেন। আর তিনবার করে কনুই পর্যন্ত উভয় হাত ধৌত করেন এবং হাতে কিছু পানি নিয়ে মাথা মাসেহ করেন। শু’বা (আলোচ্য হাদীসের রাবী) তাঁর মাথার অগ্রভাগ থেকে মাথার শেষভাগ পর্যন্ত একবার ইঙ্গিত করে দেখান এবং বলেনঃ তিনি হাত দু’টি সম্মুখের দিকে ফিরিয়ে এনেছিলেন কিনা তা আমার মনে নেই এবং তিনি [আলী (রাঃ)] তিনবার করে উভয় পা ধৌত করেন এবং তিনি বলেনঃ যে ব্যাক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর উযূ (ওজু/অজু/অযু) দেখে খুশি হতে চায় (সে যেন আমার এ উযূ দেখে), এটাই তাঁর উযূ। ইমাম নাসায়ী (রহঃ) বলেন, আলী (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণনাকারী মালিক ইবনু উরফুতাহ নন, সঠিক হল খালিদ ইবনু আলকামাহ (রহঃ)।
It was narrated from 'Abd Khair, that 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was brought a chair, and he sat down on it, then he called for a vessel of water which he tilted onto his hand three times, then he rinsed his mouth and nose with one hand, three times, he washed his face three times, washed each forearm three times, and took some of the water and wiped his head. One one occasion (One of the narrators) Shu'bah, indicated (that he wiped) from his forelock to the back of his head, then said:"I do not know whether he brought his hands back or not. And he washed each foot three times, then he said: 'Whoever would like to see how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) purified himself, this is how he purified himself.'" Abu 'Abdur-Rahman said: "This is a mistake. What is correct is Khalid bin 'Alqamah, not Malik bin 'Urfutah
। মুহাম্মদ ইবনু যুমবূর মাক্কী (রহঃ) ... আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ তোমাদের কেউ যখন ঘুম হতে জাগ্রত হয়ে উযূ (ওজু/অজু/অযু) করে, সে যেন তিনবার নাক ঝেড়ে নেয়। কেননা শয়তান নাকের (মস্তক সংলগ্ন) ছিদ্রের উপরিভাগে রাত্রি যাপন করে।
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:"When any one of you wakes from sleep to perform Wudu', then let him sniff water in his nose and blow it out three times, for the Shaitan spends the night on his nose
