ইসহাক ইবন ইবরাহীম (রহঃ) ... আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তিনটি বিষয় হতে আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করতেন, দুর্ভাগ্য, শত্রুর হাসির পাত্র হওয়া, মন্দ ভাগ্য ও দুর্বিষহ বিপদ হতে। রাবী সুফিয়ান (রহঃ) বলেনঃ বিষয় মূলত তিনটিই, কিন্তু আমি চারটি উল্লেখ করেছি। কেননা আমি একটি স্মরণ রাখতে পারিনি, যে, এ চারটি হতে কোনটি তিনটির বাইরে।
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"The Prophet [SAW] used to seek refuge from these three: From being overtaken by destruction, from his enemies rejoicing in his misfortune, from being destined to an evil end, and from the difficult moment of a calamity." Sufyan (one of the narrators) said: "There were three, and I mentioned four because I do not remember which one was not one of them
মুহাম্মদ ইবন আবদুল হাকাম (রহঃ) ... শুআয়ব (রহঃ) তাঁর পিতা ও দাদা থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন। তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ হে আল্লাহ্! আমি আলস্য, চরম বার্ধক্য, ঋণ এবং গুনাহ থেকে আপনার নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। আর কানা দাজ্জালের অনিষ্ট হতে আশ্রয় চাচ্ছি এবং আপনার নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি কবরের আযাব থেকে, আর আপনার নিকট আশ্রয় চাচ্ছি দোযখের আযাব হতে।
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, that his grandfather said:"I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali, walharami, wal-maghrami, wal-ma'thami, wa a'udhu bika min sharril-masihid-dajjali, wa a'udhu bika min 'adhabil-qabri, wa a'udhu bika min 'adhabin-nar (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, debt and sin, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of the Al-Masihid-Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire)
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ سُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الأَعْدَاءِ وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَجَهْدِ الْبَلاَءِ .
কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম দুর্ভাগ্য, শত্রুর আনন্দ, অপমৃত্যু ও দুর্বিষহ বিপদ থেকে আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করতেন।
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that :The Prophet [SAW] used to seek refuge from being destined to an evil end, from his enemies rejoicing in his misfortune, from being overtaken by destruction and from the difficult moment of a calamity
আবদুল্লাহ ইবন মুহাম্মদ ইবন আবদুর রহমান (রহঃ) ... উসমান ইবন আবুল আস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এ সকল দু'আ করতেনঃ হে আল্লাহ! আমি আপনার নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি অলসতা, চরম বার্ধক্য, কাপুরুষতা, অকর্মণ্যতা এবং জীবন-মরণের ফিতনা থেকে।
It was narrated from 'Uthman bin Abi Al-'As that:The Prophet [SAW] used to say supplication in these words: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali, walharami, wal-jubni, wal-'ajzi, wa min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat. (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, cowardice, and incapacity, and from the trials of life and death)
