মুহাম্মাদ ইবন মুসান্না (রহঃ) ... হুমায়দ (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আনাস ইবন মালিক (রাঃ)-এর নিকট কবর আযাব এবং দাজ্জাল সম্বন্ধে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হলে তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলতেনঃ ইয়া আল্লাহ! আমি অলসতা, চরম বার্ধক্য, কাপুরুষতা, কৃপণতা, দাজ্জালের ফিতনা এবং কবর আযাব হতে আপনার নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি।
It was narrated that Khalid said:"Humaid narrated: 'Anas - bin Malik - was asked about the torment of the grave and about the Dajjal. He said: "The Prophet of Allah [SAW] used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali, wal-harami, wal-jubni, wal-bukhli, wa fitnatid-dajjali, wa 'adhabil-qabr (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from laziness, old age, cowardice, stinginess, the tribulation of the Dajjal and the torment of the grave)
উবায়দ ইবন ওয়াকী (রহঃ) ... শাকাল ইবন হুমায়দ (রাঃ) তাঁর পিতা থেকে বর্ণনা করেন। তিনি বলেন, আমি বললামঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ্! আমাকে কিছু দু'আ শিখিয়ে দিন, যা দ্বারা আমি লাভবান হতে পারি। তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি বল, হে আল্লাহ্! আমাকে কান, চোখ, জিহ্বা, অন্তর এবং পুরুষাঙ্গের অপকারিতা হতে রক্ষা করুন।
It was narrated from Shutair bin Shakal bin Humaid, that his father said:"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, teach me a supplication from which I may benefit.' He said: 'Say: Allahumma 'afini min sharri sam'i, wa basari, wa lisani, wa qalbi, wa min sharri mani (O Allah, protect me from the evil of my hearing, my seeing, my tongue and my heart, and from the evil of my sperm.)'" - Meaning sexual organ
তিনি বলেন, আমি তােমাদেরকে তা-ই শিক্ষা দেব, যা রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদেরকে শিক্ষা দিতেন, তিনি বলতেনঃ হে আল্লাহ্! আমি অপারগতা, অলসতা, কৃপণতা, কাপুরুষতা, চরম বার্ধক্য এবং কবর আযাব হতে আপনার নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। হে আল্লাহ! আমার আত্মাকে পরহেযগারী দান করুন এবং একে মন্দ কার্য হতে পবিত্র করুন; আপনি অতি উত্তম পবিত্রকারী এবং আপনিই এর মালিক। হে আল্লাহ! আমি আপনার নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করি ঐ অন্তর হতে যা ভীত হয় না, আর ঐ প্রবৃত্তি থেকে, যা তৃপ্ত হয় না, আর এমন ইলম হতে, যা উপকার করে না এবং এমন দু'আ থেকে, যা ককূল হয় না।
It was narrated that Zaid bin Arqam said:"I will not teach you anything but that which the Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to teach us. He said: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-'ajzi wal-kasali, wal-bukhli, wal-jubni, wal-harami, wa 'adhabil-qabri, Allahumma ati nafsi taqwaha, wa zakkiha anta khairu min zakkaha, anta waliyyuha wa mawlaha. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min qalbin la yakhsha'u wa min nafsin la tashba'u wa 'ilmin la yanfa'u wa da'watin la yustajabu laha (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, old age, the torment of the grave. O Allah, make my soul obedient and purify it, for You are the best One to purify it, You are its Guardian and Lord. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from a heart that is not humble, a soul that is not satisfied, knowledge that is of no benefit and a supplication that is not answered)
হুসায়ন ইবন ইসহাক (রহঃ) ... শাকাল ইবন হুমায়দ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, একদা আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে বললামঃ হে আল্লাহর নবী! আমাকে এমন আশ্রয়ের দু'আ শিখিয়ে দিন, যা দ্বারা আমি আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করতে পারি। তিনি আমার হাত ধরে বললেনঃ তুমি বল, আমি আমার কান, চোখ, জিহ্বা, অন্তর এবং বীর্যের অপকারিতা হতে আল্লাহর আশ্রয় চাচ্ছি। রাবী বলেনঃ আমি তা মুখস্থ করে নিলাম। সা'দ (রাঃ) বলেন, হাদীসে বর্ণিত 'মনি' অর্থ বীর্য।
It was narrated that Shakal bin Humaid said:"I came to the Prophet [SAW] and said: 'O Prophet of Allah, teach me words by which I may seek refuge (with Allah).' He took me by the hand then said: 'Say: A'udhu bika min sharri sam'i, wa sharri basari, wa sharri lisani, wa sharri qalbi, wa sharri mani (I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, the evil of my seeing, the evil of my tongue, the evil of my heart, and the evil of my sperm),' until I had memorized it." Waki' contradicted him in the wordings
