। কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ একবার কুবার মসজিদে লোকেরা ফজরের সালাত আদায় করছিলেন। এমন সময় সেখানে এক ব্যাক্তি উপস্থিত হয়ে বললেন যে, রাতে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর উপর (আল্লাহ্র কালাম) অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে এবং তাঁকে কাবার দিকে মুখ করে সালাত আদায় করার নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে। তাই আপনারাও কাবার দিকে মুখ করে সালাত আদায় করুন। তাঁরা বায়তুল মুকাদ্দাস অভিমুখী ছিলেন, এ কথা শুনে তাঁরা (সালাত অবস্থাতেই) কাবার দিকে ঘুরে গেলেন।
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:"While the people were in Quba', praying the Subh prayer, someone came to them and said that revelation had come to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) the night before, and he has been commanded to face the Ka'bah. So they turned around, and they has been facing toward Ash-Sham, but now they turned to face toward the Ka'bah
। কুতায়বা ইবনু সা’ঈদ (রহঃ) ... আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সফরে সওয়ারীর উপর সালাত আদায় করতেন সওয়ারীর মুখ যেদিকেই থাকুক না কেন। মালিক (রহঃ) বলেনঃ আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু দ্বীনার (রহঃ) বলেছেনঃ ইবনু উমর (রাঃ)-ও অনুরূপ করতেন।
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray on his mount while on a journey, no matter what direction it was facing." Malik said: "Abdullah bin Dinar said: 'And Ibn 'Umar used to do likewise
। আমর ইবনু আলী ও মুহাম্মদ ইবনু মূসান্না (রহঃ) ... ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম মক্কা থেকে মদিনা অভিমুখে যাওয়ার সময় নিজ বাহনের উপর (নফল) সালাত আদায় করতেন। এ সম্পর্কে فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ "তোমরা যেদিকেই মুখ ফিরাও সেদিকেই আল্লাহর চেহারা বিদ্যমান" এ আয়াত অবতীর্ণ হয়।
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray while on his animal when he was coming back from Makkah to Madinah. Concerning this, the verse was revealed: So wherever you turn (yourselves or your faces) there is the Face of Allah.'" [1] [1] Al-Baqarah 2:
। ঈসা ইবনু হাম্মাদ যুগবা, আহমদ ইবনু আমর ইবনু সারহ ও হারিস ইবনু মিসকীন (রহঃ) ... আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ কা’বা অভিমুখী হয়ে সালাত আদায় করার হুকুম আসার পূর্বে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম উটের পিঠের উপর (নফল) সালাত আদায় করতেন তাতে উট যেদিকেই মুখ করে থাকুক এবং বিতরের সালাত উটের উপরই আদায় করে নিতেন। তবে ফরয সালাত এভাবে আদায় করতেন না।
It was narrated from Salim that his father said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray voluntary prayers (Usabbih) while riding his mount, facing whatever direction it was facing, and he would pray Witr likewise, but he would not offer the prescribed prayers on it
