কুতায়বা ইবন সাঈদ (রহঃ) ... ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যখন মদীনায় আসেন, তখনও তারা খেজুরে দুই অথবা তিন বছর পর্যন্ত দাদন বেচাকেনা করতো। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম নিষেধ করে বলেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি দাদন ক্রয় করবে, সে যেন পরিমাপ, ওজন এবং সময় নির্ধারণ করে নেয়।
It was narrated that Abu Al-Minhal said:"I heard Ibn 'Abbas say: 'When the Prophet came (to al-Madinah), they used to pay in advance for dates, two or three years in advance. He forbade them that and said: 'whoever pays in advance for dates, let him pay for a known amount or a known weight, to be delivered at a known time
মাহমূদ ইবন গায়লান (রহঃ) ... ইবন আবুল মুজালিদ (রহঃ) বলেন, একদা আবু বুরদা এবং আবদুল্লাহ ইবন শাদ্দাদ দাদন বেচাকেনার ব্যাপারে বিতর্কে লিপ্ত হন। পরে তারা আমাকে ইবন আবু আওফার নিকট প্রেরণ করেন। আমি তাঁর নিকট জিজ্ঞাসা করলে তিনি বললেনঃ আমরা রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সময় এবং আবু বকর ও উমর (রাঃ)-এর সময় দাদন বেচাকেনা করতাম। আর আমরা এটা গম, যব, কিশমিশ, খেজুর ইত্যাদিতে এমন লোকদের সাথে করতাম, যাদের নিকট এ সকল বস্তু আছে বলে আমরা মনে করতাম। এরপর আমি ইবন আবযা (রাঃ)-কে এ সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসা করলে তিনিও অনুরূপ বলেন।
Ibn Abi Al-Mujalid-on one occasion he (the narrator) said 'Abdullah, and on another occasion he said Muhammad - said:"Abu Burdah and 'Abdullah bin Shaddad argued about payment in advance. They sent me to Ibn Abi Awfa and I asked him (about that). He said: 'We used to pay in advance during the time of the Messenger of Allah and Abu Bakr and 'Umar, for wheat, barley, raisins and dates, paying people whom we did not see it with them." And I asked Ibn Abza and he said something similar to that
আমর ইবন আলী (রহঃ) ... আবু রাফি (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এক ব্যক্তির সাথে একটি জওয়ান উটে ‘সালাফ’ করেন (অর্থাৎ দাদন বা অগ্রিম মূল্যে বিক্রি করেন); পরে ঐ ব্যক্তি তার উট চাইতে আসলে তিনি এক ব্যক্তিকে বললেনঃ যাও, এই ব্যক্তির জন্য একটি জওয়ান উট কিনে আন। সে ব্যক্তি ফিরে এসে বললেনঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমি তো সাত বছরের উট পেয়েছি। তিনি বললেনঃ তাকে সেটিই দিয়ে দাও। মুসলিমদের মধ্যে উত্তম ঐ ব্যক্তি, যে কর উত্তমভাবে আদায় করে।
It was narrated from Abu Rafi that the Messenger of Allah borrowed a young camel from a man, and then he came to get his camel back. He said to a man:"Go and buy a young camel for him." He came and said: "I could only get a Raba camel of good quality." He said: "Give it to him, for the best of the Muslims is the one who is best in repaying
উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবন সাঈদ (রহঃ) ... আবদুল্লাহ ইবন আবু মুজালিদ (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি ইবন আবু আওফা (রাঃ)-কে দাদন ক্রয় সম্বন্ধে জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, তা কি বৈধ, না অবৈধ? তিনি বললেনঃ আমরা রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম, আবু বকর সিদ্দীক এবং উমর (রাঃ)-এর সময়ে গম, যব, খেজুর ইত্যাদিতে ‘দাদন’ করতাম। আর এই ব্যবসা আমরা এমন লোকদের সাথে করতাম, যাদের সম্বন্ধে আমাদের এই ধারণা ছিল না যে, তাদের নিকট এই বস্তু আছে কি নেই।
