মুহাম্মদ ইবন মুসান্না (রহঃ) ... জুবায়র ইবন মুতইম (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যখন আত্মীয়দের অংশ বনূ হাশিম এবং বনু মুত্তালিবের মধ্যে বণ্টন করলেন তখন আমি ও উসমান ইবন আফফান তাঁর কাছে এসে বললাম, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! ওই যে বনু হাশিম, আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা তাদের সাথে আপনার যে সম্পর্ক রেখেছেন, তজ্জনিত তাদের শ্রেষ্ঠত্বকে আমরা অস্বীকার করি না। কিন্তু আপনি আমাদের ভাই বনূ আবদুল মুত্তালিবকে দান করলেন এবং আমাদেরকে কিছুই দিলেন না। অথচ আমরা ও তারা সমপর্যায়ের আত্মীয়? তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ তারা জাহেলিয়াতে এবং ইসলামে আমাকে ছেড়ে যায়নি। আমি তো বনূ হাশিম ও বনূ আবদুল মুত্তালিবকে একই মনে করি। এই বলে তিনি নিজ আঙ্গুলসমূহ পরস্পর গেঁথে দিলেন।
It was narrated that Jubair bin Mut'im said:"When the Messenger of Allah distributed the share for his relatives to Banu Hashim and BanuA-Muttalib, I came to himwith 'Uthman bin 'Affan and we said: 'O Messenger of Allah, no one denies the virtue of Banu Hashim because of the relationship between you and them. But how come you have given (a share) to Banu Al-Muttalib and not to us? They and we share the same degree of relationship to you. 'The Messenger of Allah said: "They did not abandon me during the Jahiliyyah or in Islam. Banu Hashim and Banu Al-Muttalib are the same thing, and he interlaced his fingers
আবদুর রহমান ইবন আবদুল্লাহ্ ইবন আবদুল হাকাম (রহঃ) ... জুবায়র ইবন মুতইম (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, তিনি এবং উসমান (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট গিয়ে হুনায়নের মালের ব্যাপারে বললেন, যা তিনি বনূ হাশিম এবং বনু মুত্তালিবের মধ্যে বন্টন করেছিলেন। তারা দু’জন বললেনঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ্! আপনি আমাদের ভাই বনূ আবদুল মুত্তালিবকে দান করলেন এবং আমাদেরকে কিছুই দিলেন না। অথচ আমরাও আপনার ঐরূপ আত্মীয়! তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাদেরকে বললেনঃ আমি তো বনূ হাশিম ও বনূ আবদুল মুত্তালিবকে একই মনে করি। জুবায়র ইবন মুতইম (রাঃ) বলেনঃ রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বনূ আবদ শামস ও বন্ নওফলকে তা থেকে কিছুই দিলেন না, যেমন তিনি বনু হাশিম এবং আবদুল মুত্তালিবকে দিলেন।
Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab narrated that Jubair bin Mut'im told him:"He and 'Uthman bin 'Affan came to the Messenger of Allah to speak to him about what he had distributed of the Khumus of Hunain to Banu Hashim and Banu Al-Muttalib bin 'Abd Manaf. They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you distributed it to our brothers; Banu Al-Muttalib bin 'Abd Manaf, and you did not give us anything, and our relationship to you in the same as theirs. 'The Messenger of Allah said to them: 'I see that Hashim and Al-Muttalib are the same." Jubair bin Mut'im said: "The Messenger of Allah did not allocate anything to Banu 'Abd Shams or Banu Nawfal from that Khumus, as he allocated to Banu Hashim and Banu Al-Muttalib
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম হুনায়নের দিন একটি উটের পার্শ্বদেশ থেকে কিছু পশম নিলেন। তারপর বললেন, হে লোক সকল! আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা তোমাদেরকে যে গনীমত দিয়েছেন, তা থেকে খুমুস ব্যতীত এটুকু নেয়াও আমার জন্য হালাল নয়, আর খুমুসও তোমাদের মধ্যেই ফিরিয়ে দেয়া হয়। আল্লাহ্ সম্যক অবগত।
It was narrated that 'Ubadah bin Al-Samit said:"On the day of Hunain the Messenger of Allah took a hair from the side of a camel and said: 'O you people, it is not permissible for me to take even the equivalent of this from the Fay' that Allah has bestowed upon you, except the Khumus, and the Khumus will come back to you." (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: Abu Sallam's name is Mamtur and he is Ethiopian, and Abu Umamah's name is Sudai bin 'Ajlan
আমর ইবন ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ... আওযায়ী (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, উমর ইবন আবদুল আযীয (রহঃ) উমর ইবন ওয়ালীদকে লিখলেনঃ তোমার পিতার খুমুসের অংশ সম্পূর্ণই তোমার। কিন্তু প্রকৃতপক্ষে তোমার পিতার অংশ মুসলিমদের এক ব্যক্তির অংশের সমান ছিল। আর তাতে আল্লাহর এবং রাসূলের, নিকটাত্মীয়দের, ইয়াতীমদের, মিসকীনদের এবং মুসাফিরদের হক ছিল, চিন্তা করে দেখ কিয়ামতের দিন তোমার পিতার কাছে দাবিদার কত বেশি হবে? আর যার বিরুদ্ধে এত অধিক দাবিদার হবে, তার নিস্তার কিভাবে হবে? আর তুমি যে বাদ্যযন্ত্র ও সেতার বের করেছ, তা তোমরা ইসলামে বিদআত। আমি স্থির করেছি তোমার নিকট এমন এক ব্যক্তিকে পাঠাব, যে তোমার মাথার লম্বা বাবড়ি সমান করে কেটে দেবে।
It was narrated that Al-Awza'i said:"Umar bin 'Abdul-'Aziz wrote a letter to 'Umar bin Al-Walid in which he said: 'The share that your father gave to you was the entire Khumus,[1] but the share that your father is entitled to is the same as that of any man among the Muslims, on which is due the rights of Allah and His Messenger, and of relatives, orphans, the poor and wayfarers. How many will dispute with your father on the Day of Resurrection! How can he be saved who has so many disputants?
