ইসমাঈল ইবন মাসউদ (রহঃ) ... আবদুল্লাহ ইবন উমর (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম মান্নত করতে নিষেধ করেছেন। আর তিনি বলেছেনঃ তাতে মানুষের কোন লাভ হয় না। এর দ্বারা কৃপণের থেকে কিছু বের করা হয় মাত্র।

আলী ইবন হুজুর ও মুহাম্মদ ইবন কুদামা (রহঃ) ... কায়স ইবন আবু গারাযা (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেনঃ আমরা মদীনায় ক্রয়-বিক্রয় করছিলাম। আমরা আমাদেরকে দালাল বলতাম এবং লোকেরাও আমাদেরকে দালাল বলতো। একদিন রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের নিকট এসে আমাদের এমন নামে ডাকলেন, যা ছিল আমরা আমাদেরকে এবং লোকেরা আমাদেরকে যে নামে ডাকতো, তা থেকে উত্তম। তিনি বললেনঃ হে ব্যবসায়ীর দল! তোমাদের ব্যাবসায়ে মিথ্যা এবং শপথ মিশ্রিত হয়ে থাকে। অতএব তোমরা এতে সাদকা মিশিয়ে নাও।
It was narrated that Qais bin Abi Gharazah said:"In Al-Madinah we used to buy and sell Wasqs (of goods), and we used to call ourselves Samasir (brokers), and the people used to call us like that. The Messenger of Allah came out to us one day, and called us by a name that was better than that which we called ourselves and which the people called us. He said: 'O Tujjar (traders), your selling involves (false) oaths and lies, so mix some charity with it
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম মান্নত করতে নিষেধ করেছেন এবং তিনি বলেছেনঃ মান্নত কোন কিছুকে ঠেকিয়ে রাখতে পারে না। এর দ্বারা কেবল কৃপণ হতে কিছু মাল বের করা হয়।

তিনি বলেন, একদা রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের নিকট আসেন, তখন আমরা ছিলাম বাজারে। তিনি আমাদেরকে বললেনঃ এটা বাজার, এখানে মিথ্যা ও অপ্রয়োজনীয় কথাও হয়ে থাকে। অতএব তোমরা এতে কিছু সাদকা মিলিয়ে নাও।
