আবু হুমায়দ ইবন মুহাম্মদ (রহঃ) ... মুসআব ইবন সা'দ (রাঃ) তাঁর পিতা হতে বর্ণনা করেন। তিনি বলেনঃ আমি লাত ও উযর শপথ করলাম। তখন আমার সাথীরা আমাকে বললোঃ তুমি বড় মন্দ কথা বললে। আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট এসে তা বললে, তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি বলঃ “আল্লাহ্ ছাড়া কোন ইলাহ নেই। তিনি এক, তার কোন শরীক নেই।” আর তুমি তোমার বামদিকে তিনবার থুথু ফেল এবং আল্লাহর নিকট শয়তান হতে হতে আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা কর। আর কখনও এরূপ বলবে না।
Mus'ab bin Sa'd narrated that his father said:"I swore by Al-Lat and Al-'Uzza and my companions said to me: 'What a bad thing you have said! You have said something horrible.' So I went to the Messenger of Allah and told him about that. He said: 'Say: La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir (There is none worthy of worship except Allah with no partner or associate; His is the Dominion, to Him be all praise, and He is able to do all things). Spit to your left three times, seek refuge with Allah from the Shaitan, and do not say that again
আবু দাউদ (রহঃ) ... মুসআব ইবন সা'দ (রাঃ) তাঁর পিতা হতে বর্ণনা করেন। তিনি বলেন, আমরা কোন ব্যাপারে আলোচনা করছিলাম, আর আমি নতুন ইসলাম গ্রহণ করেছিলাম। এক পর্যায়ে আমি লাত ও উযযার কসম করলাম। আমাকে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কয়েকজন সাহাবী বললেনঃ তুমি অতি মন্দ কথা বলেছ। তুমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট চল, তাঁকে এটা জানাও। আমরা মনে করি, তুমি কুফরী করেছ। আমি তাঁর নিকট এসে তাঁকে এ কথা জানালে তিনি আমাকে বললেন, তুমি তিনবার বলঃ “লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহু ওয়াহদাহু লা শারীকা লাহু”, আর শয়তান হতে আল্লাহ্ তা'আলার নিকট তিনবার আশ্রয় চাও এবং তোমার বামদিকে তিনবার থুথু ফেল। আর কখনও এরূপ কথা বলবে না।
It was narrated from Mus'ab bin Sa'd that his father said:"We were talking about something, and I had only recently left Jahiliyyah behind, so I swore by Al-Lat and Al-'Uzza. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah said to me: 'What a bad thing you have said! Go to the Messenger of Allah and tell him, for we think that you have committed Kufr.' So I went to him and told him, and he said to me: 'Say: La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah (There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone, without partner) three times, and seek refuge with Allah from the Shaitan three times, and spit dryly to your left three times, and do not say that again
মুহাম্মদ ইবন মুসান্না ও মুহাম্মদ ইবন বাশশার (রহঃ) ... বারা ইবন আযিব (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদেরকে সাতটি কাজের আদেশ দিয়েছেন- জানাযার অনুগমন করার, রোগীকে দেখতে যাওয়ার, হাঁচির উত্তর দেয়ার, আমন্ত্রণ গ্রহণ করার, মযলুমের সাহায্য করার, কসম পূর্ণ করার এবং সালামের উত্তর দেয়ার।
Al-Bara' bin 'Azib said:"The Messenger of Allah commanded us to do seven things: He commanded us to attend funerals, visit the sick, to reply (say: Yarhamuk Allah [may Allah have mercy on you]) to one who sneezes, to accept invitations, to support the oppressed, to fulfill oaths (when adjured by another) and to return greetings of Salaam
কাসীর ইবন উবায়দ (রহঃ) ... আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি লাতের শপথ করে, সে যেন বলেঃ লা ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহ্। আর যে ব্যক্তি তার সাথীকে বলেঃ চল তোমার সাথে জুয়া খেলি, সে যেন কিছু সাদকা করে।
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever among you swears and says: By Al-Lat, let him say: La ilaha illallah (There is none worthy of worship except Allah). And whoever says to his companion: Come, let us gamble, then let him give in charity
