أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ غَنْمٍ، ذَكَرَ أَنَّ ابْنَ خَارِجَةَ، ذَكَرَ لَهُ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَإِنَّهَا لَتَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَإِنَّ لُعَابَهَا لَيَسِيلُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي خُطْبَتِهِ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ قَسَّمَ لِكُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ قِسْمَهُ مِنَ الْمِيرَاثِ فَلاَ تَجُوزُ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ ".
ইসমাঈল ইবন মাসউদ (রহঃ) ... ইবন খারিজা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, তিনি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে দেখলেন যে, তিনি নিজের সওয়ারীর উপর থেকে লোকদের খুতবা দিচ্ছেন। তখন ঐ সওয়ারী (উট) জাবর কাটছিল এবং তার মুখ থেকে ফেনা বেয়ে পড়ছিল। তিনি তাঁর খুতবায় বললেনঃ আল্লাহু তা'আলা প্রত্যেক লোকের মীরাসের হিসসা বণ্টন করে দিয়েছেন; কাজেই ওয়ারিসের জন্য ওয়াসিয়াত করা বৈধ হবে না।
It was narrated from Shahr bin Hawshab that Ibn Ghanm mentioned that Ibn Kharijah told him that he saw the Messenger of Allah addressing the people from atop his mount, which was chewing its cud and its saliva was dripping down. The Messenger of Allah said in his Khutbah:"Allah has given each person a share of the inheritance, and it is not permissible to give bequests to an heir
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম খুতবায় বললেনঃ আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা প্রত্যেক হকদারের হক দিয়ে দিয়েছেন আর ওয়ারিসদের জন্য ওয়াসিয়াত নেই (বৈধ নয়)।
It was narrated that 'Amr bin Kharijah said:"The Messenger of Allah delivered a Khutbah and said: 'Allah has given every person who has rights his due, and there is no bequest to an heir
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মহীয়ান নামের মালিক আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা প্রত্যেক হকদারের অংশ নির্দিষ্ট করে দিয়েছেন, এখন আর ওয়ারিসের জন্য ওয়াসিয়াতের অবকাশ নেই।

তিনি বলেন, আমার পিতা মারা যান এবং তার উপর দেনা থেকে যায়। আমি আমার পিতার পাওনাদারদের ডেকে বললামঃ তারা যেন তার দেনার বিনিময়ে এই খেজুর নিয়ে নেয়। কিন্তু তারা তা অস্বীকার করলো। কেননা, তারা তাতে পরিশোধ দেখতে পেল না (তাদের কাছে খেজুরের পরিমাণ কম মনে হল)। জাবির (রাঃ) বলেনঃ এরপর আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর খিদমতে উপস্থিত হয়ে এ কথা বললাম। তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি যখন খেজুর কাটবে এবং উঠানে স্তূপকৃত করবে, তখন আমাকে সংবাদ দেবে। জাবির (রাঃ) বলেন, আমি খেজুর কেটে উঠানে রেখে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট উপস্থিত হলাম। তিনি আবু বকর এবং উমর (রাঃ)-কে সাথে নিয়ে আসলেন। তিনি এসে তার উপর বসে পড়লেন এবং বরকতের জন্য দু'আ করলেন। এরপর তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি তোমার পাওনাদারদের ডেকে আন এবং তাদের পাওনা দিয়ে দাও। তিনি [জাবির (রাঃ)] বলেন, আমার পিতার কাছে যাদের পাওনা ছিল, তাদের সকলের পাওনা আদায় করে দিলাম, কারো পাওনা অবশিষ্ট রইলো না; বরং তের ওসাক (খেজুর) অবশিষ্ট থেকে গেল। তারপর আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে এই সংবাদ দিলে তিনি শুনে হাসলেন এবং বললেনঃ যাও তুমি আবু বকর এবং উমরকেও এ খবর দাও। আমি তাঁদের কাছে গিয়ে এ খবর দিলে তারা বললেনঃ আমরা বুঝতে পেরেছিলাম যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যা করলেন, তার ফল এটাই হবে।
It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said:"My father died owing debts. I offered to his creditors that they could take the fruits in lieu of what he owed them, but they refused as they thought that it would not cover the debt. I went to the Messenger of Allah and told him about that, he said: 'When you pick the dates and have put them in the Mirbad (place for drying dates), call me.' When I had picked the dates and put them in the Mirbad, I went to the Messenger of Allah and he came, accompanied by Abu Bakr and 'Umar. He sat on (the dates) and prayed for blessing. Then he said: 'Call your creditors and pay them off.' I did not leave anyone to whom my father owed anything but I paid him off, and I had thirteen Wasqs left over. I mentioned that to him and he smiled and said: 'Go to Abu Bakr and 'Umar and tell them about that.' So I went to Abu Bakr and 'Umar and told them about that, and they said: 'We knew, when the Messenger of Allah did what he did, that this would happen
