কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... ফারি'আ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, তার স্বামী গোলামদের তালাশে বের হয়ে কাদুমের পথে নিহত হলেন। তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে বললামঃ আমি আমার পরিবারের লোকদের নিকট যেতে চাই এবং তাঁর নিকট ঘটনা বর্ণনা করলাম। তিনি আমাকে অনুমতি দিলেন। যখন আমি রওয়ানা হলাম, তখন তিনি আমাকে ডেকে বললোঃ ইদ্দত পূর্ণ হওয়া পর্যন্ত নিজের স্বামীর ঘরেই থাক।
It was narrated from Furai'ah that her husband went out to pursue some slaves of his and he was killed on the edge of Al-Qadum. She said:"I came to the Prophet and mentioned moving to (join) my family." She told him about her situation. She said: "He allowed me, then, when I turned to leave, he called me back and said: 'Stay with your family until the term prescribed is fulfilled
কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... ফারি'আ বিনত মালিক (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, আমার স্বামী আজমী গোলামাদেরকে চাকর রাখতেন তার কাজের জন্য। তারা তাকে হত্যা করলে তিনি এই সংবাদ রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট পৌছিয়ে বললেন, আমার স্বামীর কোন ঘরও নেই এবং তিনি খোরপোষের কোন ব্যবস্থাও করে যাননি। আমি আমার পরিবারস্থ লোকের নিকট গিয়ে আমার ইয়াতিম সন্তানদের রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ করতে পারি? তিনি তাকে বললেনঃ তুমি এরূপ করতে পার। এরপর তিনি বললেনঃ কী বলেছিলে? তখন সে যা বলেছিল, তা আবার বললো। তিনি বললেনঃ ইদ্দত ঐ স্থানেই পালন কর, যেখানে তুমি তোমার স্বামীর মৃত্যু সংবাদ শুনেছ।
It was narrated from Al-Furai'ah bint Malik that her husband hired some slaves to work for him and they killed him. She mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah and said:"I am not living in a house that belongs to him, and I do not receive maintenance from him; should I move to my family with my two orphans and stay with them?" He said: "Do that." Then he said: "What did you say?" So she told him again and he said: "Observe your 'Iddah where the news came to you
মুহাম্মদ ইবন ইসমাঈল (রহঃ) ... ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ) বলেন, যে আয়াতে বলা হয়েছে "স্ত্রী তার স্বামীর ঘরে ইদ্দত পূৰ্ণ করবে।" এই আয়াত এখন মানসূখ বা রহিত হয়ে গেছে। এখন তার জন্য যেখানে ইচ্ছা সেখানে থেকে ইদ্দত পূর্ণ করার ইখতিয়ার আছে। (غَيْرَ إِخْرَاجٍ) আয়াত দ্বারা তা রহিত হয়েছে।
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that this Verse abrogated the woman's 'Iddah among her family, and she may observe her 'Iddah wherever she wants. That is the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime:without turning them out
মুহাম্মদ ইবন 'আলা (রহঃ) ... ফারি'আ বিনত মালিক (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, তার স্বামী স্বীয় গোলামের তালাশে বের হলে, তারা তাকে হত্যা করলো। শু'বা এবং ইবন জুরাইজ (রহঃ) বলেনঃ সেই মহিলার ঘর ছিল জনবসতি হতে দূরে। পরে সেই মহিলা তার ভাইকে সাথে নিয়ে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে নিজের অবস্থা বর্ণনা করলেন, তিনি তাকে অন্য ঘরে বাস করার অনুমতি দিলেন। যখন সে প্রত্যাবর্তন করছিল, তিনি তাকে ডেকে বললেনঃ তুমি নিজের ঘরেই থাকে, যতক্ষণ না ইদ্দত পূর্ণ হয়।
It was narrated from Al-Fari'ah bint Malik that her husband went out to pursue some slaves and they killed him. Shu'bah and Ibn Juraij said:"She was in a remote house. She came with her brothers to the Messenger of Allah and told him (about the situation) and he granted her a concession. When she was leaving he called her back and said: 'Stay in your house until the term prescribed is fulfilled
