আব্দুর রহমান ইবন খালিদ (রহঃ) ... মা'কাল ইবন ইয়াসার (রাঃ) বলেন, এক ব্যক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর খেদমতে আরয করলোঃ আমি এমন এক মহিলার সন্ধান পেয়েছি, যে বংশ গৌরবের অধিকারিণী ও মর্যাদাবান, কিন্তু সে বন্ধ্যা, আমি কি তাকে বিবাহ করবো? তিনি তাকে নিষেধ করলেন। দ্বিতীয় দিন তাঁর নিকট আসলে তিনি নিষেধ করলেন। এরপর তৃতীয় দিন তাঁর খেদমতে আসলে তিনি তাকে নিষেধ করলেন এবং বললেনঃ তোমরা অধিক সন্তান প্রসবা নারীকে বিবাহ করবে, যে তোমাদেরকে ভালবাসবে। কেননা, আমি তোমাদের দ্বারা সংখ্যাধিক্য লাভ করবো।
Narrated Ma'qil bin Yasar:
It was narrated that Ma'qil bin Yasar said: "A man came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'I have found a woman who is from a good family and of good status, but she does not bear children, should I marry her?' He told him not to. Then he came to him a second time and he told him not to (marry her). Then he came to him a third time and he told him not to (marry her), then he said: 'Marry the one who is fertile and loving, for I will boast of your great numbers
ইসমাঈল ইবন মাসউদ (রহঃ) ... জাবির (রাঃ) বলেন, তিনি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সময় এক মহিলাকে বিবাহ করলেন। তাঁর সাথে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামএর সাক্ষাৎ হলে তিনি জিজ্ঞাসা করলেনঃ হে জাবির, তুমি কি বিবাহ করেছো? তিনি বলেন, আমি বললামঃ জ্বি, হ্যাঁ। তিনি বললেনঃ কুমারী, না বিবাহিতা? আমি বললামঃ বরং বিবাহিতা। তিনি বললেনঃ কেন একজন কুমারীকে বিবাহ করলে না, যে তোমার সাথে মন মাতানো ব্যবহার করতো? তিনি বলেন, আমি বললামঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমার কয়েকজন বোন রয়েছে, আমর ভয় হলো, সে আমার এবং তাদের মধ্যে ঝগড়া সৃষ্টি করবে। তিনি বললেনঃ তা হলে তাই ভাল। মহিলাদেরকে তাদের ধর্ম, সম্পদ, এবং সৌন্দর্যের উপর বিবাহ করা হয়ে থাকে। অতএব তুমি ধাৰ্মিক মেয়ে বিবাহ করবে। আল্লাহ ভাল করুন।
Narrated Jabir:
It was narrated from Jabir that he married a woman at the time of the Messenger of Allah, and the Prophet met him and said: "Have you got married, O Jabir?" He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'A virgin or a previously-married woman?' I said: 'A previously-married woman.' He said: 'Why not a virgin who would play with you?' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have sisters, and I did not want her to come between them and I.' He said: 'That's better then. A woman may be married for her religious commitment, her wealth or her beauty. You should choose the one who is religiously committed, may your hands be rubbed with dust (may you prosper)
ইবরাহীম ইবন মুহাম্মদ তায়মী (রহঃ) ... আমর ইবন শুআয়ব তাঁর পিতার সূত্রে তাঁর দাদা হতে বর্ণনা করেন, মরছাদ ইবন আবু মরছাদ গানবী (রহঃ) নামক এক ব্যক্তি ছিল খুব শক্তিশালী। সে মক্কা হতে মদীনায় কয়েদী বহন করতো। তিনি বলেন, আমি এক ব্যক্তিকে বহন করার জন্য ডাকলাম। মক্কায় এক দুশ্চরিত্রা স্ত্রীলোক ছিল— যার নাম ছিল আনাক। এ মহিলা ঐ ব্যক্তির প্ৰেমিকা ছিল। সে বের হয়ে দেওয়ালের ছায়ায় আমার কায়া দেখে বললোঃ এ ব্যক্তি কে? মরছাদ নাকি? তোমাকে মোবারকবাদ! হে মরছাদ! চল আজ রাত আমাদের নিকট অতিবাহিত কর, আমাদের মনযিলে। আমি বললামঃ হে আনাক! রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ব্যভিচার হারাম করেছেন। সে বলে উঠলোঃ হে তাঁবুবাসীগণ! এ দুলদুল যে তোমাদের কয়েদীকে বহন করে মক্কা হতে মদীনায় নিয়ে যায়। এরপর আমি 'খানদামা' নামক পাহাড়ে আশ্রয় নিলাম। আমাকে আটজন লোক তালাশ করতে এসে তারা আমার মাথার উপর দাঁড়িয়ে পেশাব করে দিল। তাদের পেশাব আমার গায়ে পড়লো। কিন্তু আল্লাহ্ তাআলা তাদেরকে আমাকে দেখা হতে অন্ধ করে দিলেন। আমি আমার সাথীর নিকট এসে তাকে বহন করে যখন “আরাক’ নামক স্থানে পৌঁছালাম, তখন তার বেড়ী হতে রেহাই পেলাম। এরপর আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর খেদমতে পৌঁছে আরয করলামঃ আমি কি আনাক-কে বিবাহ করবো? তিনি নিশ্চুপ থাকলেন। তখন নাযিল হলোঃ الزَّانِيَةُ لَا يَنْكِحُهَا إِلَّا زَانٍ أَوْ مُشْرِكٌ অর্থঃ আর ব্যভিচারিণী তাকে ব্যভিচার অথবা মুশরিক ব্যতীত কেউ বিবাহ করে না। (সূরা আন-নূরঃ ৩) তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাকে ডেকে একথা শুনিয়ে বললেনঃ তুমি তাকে বিবাহ করো না।
Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib:
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that Marthad bin Abi Marthad Al-Ghanawi --a strong man who used to take the prisoners from Makkah to Al-Madinah-- said: "I arranged with a man to bring him (from Makkah to Al-Madinah). There was a prostitute in Makkah who was called 'Anaq, and she was his friend. She came out and saw my shadow on the wall, and said: 'Who is this? Marthad? Welcome, O Marthad, come tonight and stay at our place.' I said: 'O 'Anaq, the Messenger of Allah has forbidden adultery.' She said: 'O people of the tents, this porcupine is the one who is taking your prisoners from Makkah to Al-Madinah!' I headed toward (the mountain of) Al-Khandamah, and eight men came after me. They came and stood over my head, and they urinated, and their urine reached me, but Allah caused them not to see me. Then I went to my companion (the prisoner) and brought him to Al-Arak, where I undid his fetters. Then I came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, shall I marry 'Anaq?' He remained silent and did not answer me, then the following was revealed: 'And the adulteress-fornicator, none marries her except an adulterer-fornicator or an idolater.' He called me and recited them to me and said: 'Do not marry her
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ، عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ أَحْسَابَ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا الَّذِي يَذْهَبُونَ إِلَيْهِ الْمَالُ " .
ইবন বুরায়দা (রহঃ) ... তার পিতার সূত্রে বর্ণনা করেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ দুনিয়াদারদের বংশ মর্যাদা গণনা করা হয় সম্পদ দিয়ে।
Narrated Ibn Buraidah:
It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah that his father said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'The nobility of the people of this world, that which they (always) go to, is wealth
