ইয়াহইয়া ইবন মূসা (রহঃ) ... আবু সালামা (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) বলেছেন, আমি বললামঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমি একজন যুবক ব্যক্তি। আমি ব্যভিচারের ভয় করি, আমার ব্যাপারে। অথচ বিবাহের খরচ বহনের সামর্থ্যও আমার নেই। আমি কি খাসি হয়ে যাব? একথা শুনে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তার থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিলেন। তিনবার এমন জিজ্ঞাসা করার পর রাসূলুল্লাহসাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ হে আবূ হুরায়রা! তোমার ভবিষ্যৎ কর্ম সম্বন্ধে লিখিত হয়ে গেছে, এখন তুমি ইচ্ছা হয়, খাসি হতে পার বা তা পরিত্যাগ করতে পার। আবু আব্দুর রহমান (রহঃ) বলেন, আওযায়ী (রহঃ) এ হাদীস যুহরী (রহঃ) হতে শ্রবণ করেননি। এ হাদীসটি সহীহ। এ হাদীসটি ইউনুস (রহঃ) যুহরী (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণনা করেছেন।
Narrated Abu Salamah:
It was narrated from Abu Salamah that Abu Hurairah said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I am a young man and I fear hardship for myself, but I cannot afford to marry; should I castrate myself?'" The Prophet turned away from him until he said it three times. Then the Prophet said: "O Abu Hurairah, the pen is dried concerning what you are going to face, so (it is up to you whether) you castrate yourself or not." Abu Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: Al-Awzai did not hear this narration from Az-Zuhri, and this hadith is sahih, Yunus reported it from Az-Zuhri
ইসহাক ইন ইবরাহীম (রহঃ) ... সামুরা ইবন জুন্দুব (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামহতে বর্ণনা করেন যে, তিনি চির কৌমার্য হতে নিষেধ করেছেন। আবূ আব্দুর রহমান বলেন, কাতাদা (রহঃ) আশআস (রহঃ) হতে সঠিক স্মরণ শক্তির অধিকারী। আর আশআস (রহঃ)-এর হাদীস অত্যধিক বিশুদ্ধ। মহান আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ।
Narrated Samurah bin Jundab:
It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab that the Prophet forbade celibacy. Abu Abdur-Rahman said: Qatadah is more reliable and better preserves narrations than Ash'ath but the hadith of Ash'ath (here) appears to be the correct one. Allah, Most High, knows best
তিনি উম্মুল মুমিনীন আয়েশা (রাঃ)-এর নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে বললেনঃ আমি আপনাকে কৌমার্য সম্বন্ধে প্রশ্ন করতে ইচ্ছা করি। এ ব্যাপারে আপনার মতামত কি? তিনি বললেনঃ তা করো না। তুমি কি শ্রবণ করনি যে, আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা বলেছেনঃ وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَذُرِّيَّةً অর্থঃ আর আমি আপনার পূর্বেও অনেক রাসূল প্রেরণ করেছিলাম এবং তাদেরকে স্ত্রী ও সন্তান-সন্তুতি দিয়ে ছিলাম। (সূরা আর-রা'দঃ ৩৮)।
Narrated Sa'd bin Hisham:
It was narrated from Sa'd bin Hisham that he came to the Mother of the Believers, 'Aishah. He said: "I want to ask you about celibacy, what do you think about it?" She said: "Do not do that; have you not heard that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, says: 'And indeed We sent Messengers before you, and made for them wives and offspring'? So do not be celibate
