মুহাম্মদ ইবন মুছান্না (রহঃ) ... আব্দুল্লাহ ইবন আমর (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, এক ব্যক্তি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর খেদমতে এসে জিহাদে যাওয়ার অনুমতি প্রার্থনা করলে, তিনি জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, তোমার মাতাপিতা জীবিত আছে কি? সে ব্যক্তি বললোঃ হ্যাঁ। তিনি বললেনঃ তুমি তাঁদের সেবায় সব সময় রত থাকার জিহাদ কর।
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr said:"A man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and asked him for permission to go for Jihad. He said: 'Are your parents alive?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then strive for their sake
মুহাম্মদ ইবন উবায়দ (রহঃ) ... বারা (রাঃ) বলেন, যখনঃ (لَا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنْ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ) এ আয়াত নাযিল হলো, তখন অন্ধ সাহাবী ইবন উম্মে মাকতুম আগমন করে বললেনঃ ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমার উপর কিভাবে এই আয়াত প্রযােজ্য হবে অথচ আমি অন্ধ? বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, অল্পক্ষণ পরেই অবতীর্ণ হলোঃ (غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ)।
It was narrated that Al-Bara' said:"When the following was revealed: 'Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home),' [1] Ibn Umm Maktum, who was blind, came and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what about me? I am blind.' He said: 'He did not leave before the following was revealed: Except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame).'" [2] [1] An-Nisa' 4:95. [2] An-Nisa' 4:
আব্দুল ওয়াহহাব ইবন আব্দুল হাকাম ওয়ারাক (রহঃ) ... মুআবিয়া ইবন জাহিমা সালামী (রহঃ) বলেন, আমার পিতা জাহিমা (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর খেদমতে এসে জিজ্ঞাসা করলো, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমি যুদ্ধে গমন করতে ইচ্ছা করেছি। এখন আপনার নিকট মতামত জিজ্ঞাসা করতে এসেছি। তিনি বললেনঃ তোমার মাতা আছে কি? সে বললোঃ হ্যাঁ। তিনি বললেন, তার খেদমতে লেগে থাক। কেননা, জান্নাত তার পদদ্বয়ের নিচে।
It was narrated from Mu'awiyah bin Jahimah As-Sulami, that Jahimah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:"O Messenger of Allah! I want to go out and fight (in Jihad) and I have come to ask your advice." He said: "Do you have a mother?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then stay with her, for Paradise is beneath her feet
এরপর তিনি এমন কিছু শব্দ উচ্চারণ করলেন, রাবী বলেন, যার অর্থ আমার নিকট কলম এবং তখতী আনয়ন কর, এরপর তিনি লিখলেনঃ (لَا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنْ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ) অর্থাৎ মুমিন, যারা বসে থাকে, তারা সমান নয়। আর তখন আমর ইবন উম্মে মাকতুম তার পেছনে ছিলেন। তিনি বললেনঃ আমার জন্য কি অব্যাহতি রয়েছে? তখন অবতীর্ণ হলোঃ (غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ) অর্থাৎ অক্ষম ব্যক্তি ব্যতীত।
It was narrated from Al-Bara' that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:"bring me a shoulder blade of a camel, or a tablet, and write: Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home)."
