হান্নাদ ইবন সারী (রহঃ) ... ইবরাহীম ইবন মুহাম্মদ ইবন মুনতাশির তাঁর পিতা থেকে বর্ণনা করেন, তিনি বলেছেন, আমি ইবন উমর (রাঃ)-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ ইহরাম অবস্থায় সুগন্ধি ব্যবহার করা অপেক্ষা আমার কাছে আলকাতরা ব্যবহার করা অধিক পছন্দনীয়। আমি আয়েশা (রাঃ)-এর নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে এ কথা জানালে তিনি বলেন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে সুগন্ধি লাগিয়েছি; আর তিনি তাঁর স্ত্রীদের সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করেছেন। তারপর তিনি ইহরাম বেঁধেছেন।
It was narrated from Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Al-Muntashir that his father said:"I heard Ibn 'Umar say: 'If I were to wake up daubed with tar, that would be dearer to me than waking up and entering Ihram smelling strongly of perfume.' I entered upon 'Aishah and told her what he had said. She said: 'I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah and he went around among his wives, then the next morning he entered Ihram
হুমায়দ ইবন মাসআদাহ (রহঃ) ... ইবরাহীম ইবন মুহাম্মদ ইবন মুনতাশির তাঁর পিতা থেকে বর্ণনা করেন যে, তিনি বলেনঃ আমি ইবন উমর (রাঃ)-কে ইহরামের সময় সুগন্ধি ব্যবহার সম্বন্ধে জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম। তিনি বললেনঃ আমার নিকট এ থেকে আলকাতরা ব্যবহার করা অধিক পছন্দনীয়। আমি আয়েশা (রাঃ)-এর নিকট এ ঘটনা ব্যক্ত করলে তিনি বললেনঃ আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা আবু আবদুর রহমানকে রহম করুন, আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে সুগন্ধি লাগাতাম। তারপর তিনি তাঁর সকল স্ত্রীদের সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করতেন। সকাল বেলায়ও এর সুগন্ধি তার থেকে ছড়িয়ে পড়তো।
It was narrated from Ibrahim bin Al-Muntashir that his father said:"I asked Ibn 'Umar about wearing perfume when entering Ihram and he said: 'If I were to be daubed with tar that would be dearer to me than that, I mentioned that to 'Aishah and she said: 'May Allah have mercy on Abu 'Abdur-Rahman. I used to put perfume on the Messenger of Allah then he would go around his wives, then in the morning he would be smelling strongly of perfume
