আহমদ ইবন সুলায়মান (রহঃ) ... আমর ইবন শুআয়ব (রহঃ)-তার পিতার মাধ্যমে তার দাদা থেকে বর্ণনা করেন। তিনি বলেন যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, যে ব্যক্তি সাহায্য চায় অথচ তার চল্লিশটি দিরহাম রয়েছে সেই পীড়াপীড়িকারী।
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, that his grandfather said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever asks when he has forty Dirhams I being too demanding when asking
হুসায়ন ইবন হুরায়াছ (রহঃ) ... মুআবিয়া (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমরা সাহায্য চাইতে গিয়ে পীড়াপীড়ি করবে না। আর তোমাদের কেউ আমার কাছে এমন জিনিস চাইবে না যা আমি অপছন্দনীয় মনে করি, তাহলে আমি তাকে যা দেব আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাতে বরকত দেবেন।
It was narrated from Mu'awiyah that the Messenger of Allah said:"Do not be demanding when asking. If one of you asks me for anything and I give it reluctantly, there will be no blessing in it
কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... আব্দুর রহমান (রহঃ)-এর পিতা আবু সাঈদ খুদবী (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন যে, আমার আম্মা আমাকে রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কাছে পাঠালে আমি তাঁর কাছে আসলাম এবং বসে গেলাম। তিনি আমার কাছে মুখ করে বললেন যে, যে ব্যক্তি স্বচ্ছলতা চায় আল্লাহ্ তা'আলা তাকে স্বচ্ছলতা দান করেন। আর যে ব্যক্তি কারো কাছে কিছু চাওয়া হতে বাঁচতে চায়, আল্লাহ তা'আলা তাকে উহা হতে বঁচিয়ে রাখেন। আর যে ব্যক্তি অল্পে তুষ্ট থাকতে চায় আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাকে অল্পে তুষ্ট রাখেন। আর যে ব্যক্তি সাহায্য চায় অথচ তার কাছে চল্লিশটি দিরহাম আছে তাহলে সে পীড়াপীড়ি করল। আমি মনে মনে বললাম যে, আমার ইয়াকূত নামক উষ্ট্রীর মূল্য তাে চল্লিশ দিরহাম থেকেও বেশী হবে, তাই আমি ফিরে আসলাম এবং তার কাছে কিছুই চাইলাম না।
It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri that his father said:"My mother sent me to the Messenger of Allah, and I came to him and sat down. He turned to me and said: 'Whoever wants to be independent of means, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will make him independent. Whoever wants to refrain from asking, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will help him to refrain. Whoever wants to be content with his lot, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will suffice him. Whoever asks when he has something worth one Uqiyah, then he is being too demanding. 'I said: 'My she-camel Al-Yaqutah is worth more than and Uqiyah,' so I came back and did not ask him for anything
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যে ব্যক্তি সাহায্য চায় অথচ তার কাছে এই পরিমাণ মাল আছে যাতে তার প্রয়োজন মিটে যায়, তাহলে কিয়ামতের দিন সে মুখে ক্ষত অবস্থায় উত্থিত হবে। প্রশ্ন করা হল যে, কতটুকু মাল দ্বারা প্রয়োজন মিটে যায়? তিনি বললেন, পঞ্চাশ দিরহামে বা তার সমপরিমাণ স্বর্ণ।
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever asks when he has enough to make him independent of means will have lacerations on his face on the Day of Resurrection.' It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what would make him independent of means?' He said: 'Fifty Dirhams or its equivalent of gold
