তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের মাঝে অবস্থানকালীন আমরা এক সা' করে খাদ্য যব, খেজুর, শুষ্ক আঙ্গুর অথবা পনির সাদাকায়ে ফিত্বর স্বরূপ আদায় করতাম ।
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:"We used to pay Zakaul Fitr when the Messenger of Allah was among us; a Sa' of food, or a Sa' of barley, or a Sa' of dates, or a Sa' of raisins, or a Sa of cottage cheese

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said:"The Messenger of Allah enjoined Sadaqatul Fitr, a Sa' of barley or a Sa of dates or a Sa' of cottage cheese
হান্নাদ ইবনুস সারি (রহঃ) ... আবু সাঈদ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের মাঝে অবস্থানকালীন আমরা এক সা' করে খাদ্য, খেজুর, যব অথবা পনির সাদাকায়ে ফিতর স্বরূপ আদায় করতাম। মুআবিয়া (রাঃ) সিরিয়া থেকে প্রত্যাবর্তন করা পর্যন্ত আমরা এ পরিমাণেই আদায় করতাম। অতঃপর তিনি লোকদেরকে শিক্ষা দিতে গিয়ে বলতে লাগলেন যে, সিরিয়ার দু' মুদ গম আমাদের দেশীয় এক সা'র সমপরিমাণ হবে বলেই আমার মনে হয়। রাবী বলেন, অতঃপর লোকজন এর উপরেই আমল করতে শুরু করে দিল।
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said:"We used to pay Salaqatul Fitr when the Messenger of Allah was among us; a Sa' of food, or a Sa' of dates, or a Sa' of barley, or a Sa' of cottage cheese. We continued to do so until Mu'awiyah came from Ash-Sham and one of the things that he taught the people was when he said: I think that two Mudds of wheat from Ash-Sham are equivalent to a Sa' of this, So the people took to that
তিনি বলেন, আমি ইবন আব্বাস (রাঃ)-কে তোমাদের মিম্বার অর্থাৎ বসবার মিম্বারে দাঁড়িয়ে খুতবা দানরত অবস্থায় বলতে শুনেছি যে, সাদাকায়ে ফিতরের পরিমাণ হল এক সা' করে খাদ্য দ্রব্য।
It was narrated that Abu Raja' said:I heard Ibn 'Abbas deliver a Khutbah from your Minbar - meaning the Minbar in Al-Basrah - saying: 'Sadaqatul Fitr is a Sa' of food." (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: This is the most reliable of the three
