। মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু হাতিম (রহঃ) ... আবূ উবায়দা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ সাওম (রোযা/রোজা/সিয়াম/ছিয়াম) ঢালস্বরূপ যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত সে তা ভেঙ্গে না ফেলে।
It was narrated that Al-Walid bin Abi Malik said:"Our companions narrated to us that Abu 'Ubaidah said: 'Fasting is a shield, so long as you do not damage it
। মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু ইয়াযীদ আদমী (রহঃ) ... আয়িশা (রাঃ) সুত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ সাওম (রোযা/রোজা/সিয়াম/ছিয়াম) জাহান্নামের অগ্নি থেকে ঢাল স্বরূপ। তাই যে ব্যক্তি সাওম পালনরত অবস্থায় যার ভোর হয় সে যেন অজ্ঞ ব্যক্তির ন্যায় ব্যাবহার না করে। অন্য কেউ যদি তার সাথে অজ্ঞ ব্যক্তির ন্যায় আচরণ করে তবে সে যেন তার সাথে অশ্লীল বাক্য ব্যবহার না করে এবং গালি না দেয়। বরং বলে যে, আমি সাওম পালন করছি। ঐ সত্তার শপথ যার হস্তে মুহাম্মাদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর জীবন, সাওম পালনকারীর (ক্ষুধাজনিত কারণে নির্গত) মুখের দুর্গন্ধ আল্লাহ তা’আলার নিকট কস্তুরির সুগন্ধি থেকেও অধিক পছন্দনীয়।
It was narrated that 'Aishah said that the Prophet said:"Fasting is a shield against the Fire. Whoever starts the day of fasting, let him not act in an ignorant manner during that day. If anyone treats him in an ignorant maner, let him not insult him or curse him, rather let him say: "I am fasting.' By the One in whole hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell that comes from the mouth of a fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk
। আলী ইবনু হুজর (রহঃ) ... সাহল ইবনু সা'দ (রাঃ) সূত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেছেন যে, সাওম (রোযা/রোজা/সিয়াম/ছিয়াম) পালনকারীদের জন্য জান্নাতে একটি দরজা রয়েছে যাকে রাইয়ান বলা হয়, সে দরজা দিয়ে সাওম পালনকারীগণ ব্যতীত অন্য কেউ প্রবেশ করতে পারবে না। যখন তাদের শেষ ব্যক্তি প্রবেশ করে ফেলবে, সে দরজা বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হবে। যে ব্যক্তি সে দরজা দিযে প্রবেশ করবে সে পানি পান করবে আর যে পানি পান করবে সে কখনো ক্ষুধার্ত হবে না।
It was narrated from Sahi bin Sad that the Prophet said:"For those who fast there is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Rayyan, through which no one but they will enter. When the last of them has entered it, it will be closed. Whoever enters through it will drink, and whoever drinks will never thirst again
