। ইমরান ইবনু ইয়াযীদ (রহঃ) ... ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন যে, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম একজন আনসারী মহিলাকে বলেছিলেন, যখন রমযান এসে যাবে তখন তুমি একটি উমরাহ আদায় করবে। কেননা রমযানের একটি উমরাহ একটি হজ্জের সমপরিমাণ।
Ibn 'Abbas told us:"The Messenger of Allah said to a woman from among the Ansar: 'When it is Ramadan, perform 'Umrah then, for 'Umrah during it is equivalent to Hajj
। ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম এবং উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনু সাঈদ (রহঃ) ... আবু বাকরা (রাঃ) সুত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ তোমাদের কেউ কখনও এরূপ বলবে না, আমি পূরা রমযানের সাওম (সিয়াম/রোজা/রোযা) পালন করেছি অথবা আমি পূরা রমযান মাসে তারাবীহর সালাত আদায় করেছি। রাবী বলেন, কেন তিনি এরূপ বলা অসমীচীন মনে করেছেন তা আমার জানা নেই। হয়তো বা এর মধ্যে নিজ প্রশংসা বা অসাবধানতা আছে বলেই তিনি এরূপ বলাকে সমীচীন মনে করেননি।
It was narrated from abu Bakrah that the Prophet said; 'None of you should say:'I fasted Ramadan' or 'I prayed Qiyam throughout the whole month."' I do not know whether he dislike self-praise or he said: "Inevitably there will be heedlessness and sleep." (Da 'if)
। আলী ইবনু হুজর (রহঃ) ... কুরায়ব (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, একদা উম্মে ফাযল (রাঃ) তাঁকে মুআবিয়া (রা)-এর কাছে সিরিয়ায় পাঠিয়ে ছিলেন। তিনি বলেন, আমি সিরিয়ায় গিয়ে তাঁর প্রয়োজন সমাধা করলাম এবং সিরিয়ায় অবস্থান করলে জুমু'আর রাত্রে রমযান এর চাঁদ দর্শন করলাম। অতঃপর আমি মাসের শেষের দিকে মদীনায় ফিরে এলাম। আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) আমাকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করলেন। অতঃপর চন্দ্রের কথা উল্লেখ করে আমাকে বললেন, তোমরা চাঁদ কখন দেখেছিলে? আমি বললাম, আমরা তো চাঁদ জুমু'আর রাত্রে দেখেছিলাম। তিনি আবারো প্রশ্ন করলেন যে, তুমি কি চাঁদ জুমুআর রাত্রে নিজে দেখেছিলে? আমি বললাম, হ্যাঁ, অন্যন্য লোকেরাও দেখেছে এবং তারাও সাওম (সিয়াম/রোজা/রোযা) পালন করেছে এবং মুআবিয়া (রাঃ)-ও সাওম (সিয়াম/রোজা/রোযা) পালন করেছেন। তিনি বললেন, অথচ আমরা তো চাঁদ শনিবার রাত্রে দেখেছি। আমরা সাওম পালন করতেই-থাকব, ত্রিশ সাওম পূরা করা পর্যন্ত অথবা চাঁদ দেখা পর্যন্ত। আমি বললাম, আপনি কি মুআবিয়া অথবা তার সাথীদের দেখা যথেষ্ট মনে করেন না? তিনি বললেন, না, বরং আমাদেরকে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এরূপই নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন।
Kuraib narrated that Umm Al-Fadl sent him to Muawiyah in Ash-Sham. He said:"I came to Ash-Sham. He said: "I came to Ash-Sham and complete her errand. Then the new crescent of Ramadan was sighted while I was in Ash-Sham. I saw the new crescent on the night of Friday, then I came to Al-Madinah at the end of the month. 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas asked me about the sighting of the moon and said: ' When did you see it?' I said: 'We saw it on the night of Friday.' He said; 'You saw it on the ninth of Friday?' I said: 'Yes, and the people saw it and started fasting, and so did Muawiyah. He said: 'But we saw it on the night of Saturday, so we will continue fasting until we have completed thirty days or we see it.' I said: 'Will you not be content with the sighting of Muawiyah and his companions? He said; 'No; this is what the Messenger of Allah enjoined upon us
। মুহাম্মদ ইবনু বাশশার (রহঃ) ... আরফাজা (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেনঃ আমি একটি ঘরে অবস্থান করছিলাম যেখানে উতবা ইবনু ফারকাদ (রাঃ) ছিলেন। আমি একটি হাদীস বর্ণনা করতে চাইলাম, কিন্তু সেখানে রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর কাছে একজন সাহাবীও উপস্থিত ছিলেন, যিনি হাদীস বর্ণনার ব্যাপারে আমার চেয়ে অধিক অভিজ্ঞ ছিলেন। তিনি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণনা করলেন যে, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম রমযান মাসের ব্যাপারে বলেছেন, রমযান মাসে আসমানের দরজাসমূহ খূলে দেয়া হয়, আর জাহান্নামের দরজাসমূহ বন্ধ করে দেয়া হয়, আর প্রত্যেক শয়তানকে বন্দী করে রাখা হয়। প্রত্যেক রাতে একজন আহবানকারী আহবান করতে থাকে, হে কল্যাণকামীগণ তোমরা নেক কাজ কর, হে পাপিষ্ঠগণ তোমরা পাপ হতে বিরত থাকো।
It was narrated that 'Arfajah said:" I was in a house with 'Utbah bin Farqad, and I wanted to narrate a Hadith, but there was a man from among the Companions of the Prophet there, and I felt it was more appropriate fro him to narrate the Hadith than I. The man narrated that the Prophet said.
