। হান্নাদ ইবনু সারী (রহঃ) ... ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম দুইটি কবরের পাশ দিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন। তখন তিনি বললেন যে, এই দুইজন ব্যক্তিকে আযাব দেওয়া হচ্ছে কোন বড় অপরাধের জন্য নয় বরং তাদের একজন নিজ পেশাব থেকে পবিত্র থাকত না আর অন্যজন চোগলখুরী করে বেড়াত। অতঃপর তিনি একটি তাজা খেজুরের ডাল নিয়ে তা দ্বিখণ্ডিত করে প্রত্যেক কবরে একটি করে গেড়ে দিলেন। সাহাবীগণ জিজ্ঞাসা করলেনঃ ইয়া রাসুলাল্লাহ! আপনি এরূপ কেন করলেন? তখন তিনি বললেন, হয়ত এগুলো শুষ্ক না হওয়া পর্যন্ত এদের আযাব লাঘব করা হবে।
It was narrated that Ibn ' Abbas said:"The Messenger of Allah passed by two graves and said: "They are being punished but they are not being punished for anything that was difficult to avoid. One of them used not to take care to avoid getting urine on his body or clothes, and the other used to walk about spreading gossip.' Then he took a fresh palm stalk and broke it in half, and planted one half on each grave. They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, why did not do that?' He said: 'May it be reduced for them so long as this does not dry out
। মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু কুদামাহ (রহঃ) ... ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম মক্কা অথবা মদীনার বাগান সমূহের কোন এক বাগানে গেলে দুই ব্যক্তির শব্দ শুনতে পেলেন, যারা নিজ নিজ কবরে আযাবের সম্মুখীন হচ্ছিল। তখন রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, তাদের কবরে আযাব দেওয়া হচ্ছে। আর তারা কোন বড় অপরাধে শাস্তি পাচ্ছে না। তারপর তিনি বললেন, তবে তাদের একজন নিজ পেশাব থেকে পবিত্র থাকত না আর অন্যজন চোগলখুরী করে বেড়াত। অতঃপর তিনি একটি খেজুরের ডাল কাটলেন এবং তা দ্বিখণ্ডিত করে প্রত্যেক কবরে তার এক একটা খন্ড গেড়ে দিলেন। তখন তাকে বলা হল ইয়া রাসুলাল্লাহ! আপনি এরূপ কেন করলেন? তিনি বললেন, হয়ত এগুলো না শুকানো পর্যন্ত তাদের থেকে আযাব লাঘব করা হতে পারে।
It was narrated that:The Messenger of Allah passed by one of the gardens of Makkah or Al-Madinah and heard the sound of two men being tormented in their graves. The Messenger of Allah said: "They are being punished but they are not being punished for anything that was difficult to avoid." Then he said: "Indeed, one of them used not to take care to avoid getting urine on his body or clothes, and the other used to walk around spreading gossip." They he called for a palm stalk which he broke in two and placed a piece of it on each grave. It was said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, why did you do that?" He said: "May it be reduced for them so long as this does not dry out" or: "until this dries out
। কুতায়বা (রহঃ) ... ইবনু উমর (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, শুনো, যখন তোমাদের কেউ মৃত্যুবরণ করে তখন তাকে সকাল সন্ধ্যা তার স্থান দেখানো হয়। যদি সে বেহেশতী হয় তবে বেহেশতীদের স্থান। আর যদি দোযখী হয় তবে দোযখীদের স্থান দেখানো হয়। আল্লাহ তা'আলা তাকে কিয়ামতের দিন উঠানোর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত (তাকে এরূপ দেখানো হবে)।
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet said:"When one of you dies he is shown his place morning and evening. If he is one of the people of paradise them he is one of the people of Paradise, and if he is one of the people of Hell, then he is one of the people of Hell, until Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, raises him up on the Day of Resurrection
। মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু কুদামাহ (রহঃ) ... আয়িশা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, মদীনার ইয়াহুদী বৃদ্ধাদের থেকে দুইজন বৃদ্ধা আমার কাছে আসল। তারা বলল যে, কবরবাসীরা নিজ নিজ কবরে আযাবের সমুখীন হবে। তখন আমি তাদের মিথ্যাবাদী মনে করলাম; সত্যবাদী মনে করতে চাইলাম না। তাই তারা বের হয়ে গেল। অতঃপর রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমার কাছে আসলে আমি বললাম ইয়া রাসুলাল্লাহ! মদীনার ইয়াহুদী বৃদ্ধাদের থেকে দুইজন বৃদ্ধা বললো যে, কবরবাসীগণ তাদের কবরে আযাবের সম্মুখীন হবে। তিনি বললেন যে, তারা সত্যই বলেছে; তারা কবরে এমন আযাবের সম্মুখীন হবে যে, তা সকল চতুষ্পদ জন্তু শুনতে পাবে। তারপর আমি তাকে এমন কোন সালাত আদায় করতে দেখিনি যাতে তিনি কবরের আযাব থেকে আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা না করতেন।
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:"Two of the old Jewish women of Al-Madinah came to me and said: 'The people of the graves are tormented in their graves.' But I did not believe them, and I did not believe them, and I did not want to believe them. They left and the Messenger of Allah entered upon me, and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, two of the old Jewish women of Al-Madinah said that the people of the graves are tormented in their graves.' He said: 'They spoke the truth. They are tormented in a manner that all the animals can hear.' And I never saw him offer any Salah but he sought refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave
