It was narrated from 'Asim bin Laqit that his father said:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When you perform Wudu', do so properly, and wash in between the fingers (Al-Asabi')."[2] [1] Al-Asabi' is plural meaning fingers as well as toes, and the author mentioned only one narration on the topic whereas some of them clarify "of the hands and feet." । মুহাম্মদ ইবনু বাশশার (রহঃ) ... (আবদুর রহমান ইবনু আবদ) কায়সী (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। এক সফরে তিনি রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সঙ্গে ছিলেন, এমতাবস্থায় রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর জন্য পানি আনা হলে তিনি পাত্র থেকে পানি ঢালেন এবং উভয় হাত একবার ধৌত করেন। এক-একবার করে মুখমন্ডল ও দু’হাত কনুই পর্যন্ত ধৌত করেন। পরে উভয় হাত দ্বারা পদদ্বয় ধৌত করেন।
Al-Qaisi narrated that he was with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey, and some water was brought to him. He poured some onto his hands from the vessel and washed them once, then he washed his face and each arm once, and he washed his feet with both hands
। মুহাম্মদ ইবনু আদম (রহঃ) ... আবূ হাইয়াহ ওয়াদায়ী (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি আলী (রাঃ) কে উযূ (ওজু/অজু/অযু) করতে দেখেছি। তিনি তিনবার উভয় হাতের কবজি পর্যন্ত ধৌত করেন, তিনবার কুলি করেন, তিনবার নাক পরিষ্কার করেন, তিনবার মুখমন্ডল ধৌত করেন এবং তিনবার উভয় হাত কনুই পর্যন্ত ধৌত করেন। পরে মাথা মসেহ করেন এবং উভয় পা তিনবার করে ধৌত করেন এবং বলেনঃ এটাই রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর উযূ।
It was narrated that Abu Hayyah Al-Wadi'i said:I saw 'Ali performing Wudu'. He washed his hands three times, and rinsed his mouth three times and his nose three times, and he washed his face three times and each forearm three times. Then he wiped his head and washed each foot three times. Then he said: 'This is the Wudu' of the Prophet (ﷺ)
। মুহাম্মদ ইবনু আ’লা (রহঃ) .... আয়িশা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি উল্লেখ করেন যে, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম উযূ (ওজু/অজু/অযু) করা, জুতা পরিধান করা ও চুল আঁচড়াতে যথাসম্ভব ডানদিক থেকে আরম্ভ করা পছন্দ করতেন। হাদীসের অন্যতম রাবী শু’বা বলেনঃ ওয়াসিত শহরে আমি আশয়াছ (রাঃ) কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ডানদিক হতে আরম্ভ করা পছন্দ করতেন তাঁর সকল কাজ। তারপর কূফাতে আমি তাকে বলতে শুনেছি, তিনি [রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম] যথাসাধ্য ডানদিক হতে আরম্ভ করা পছন্দ করতেন।
It was narrated that 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) mentioned:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to like to start with the right whenever he could, when purifying himself and when putting on shoes or combing his hair."
