তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মুমিনের দৃষ্টান্ত নরম চারাগাছের মতো। বাতাস তাকে আন্দোলিত করে। বাতাস কখনো তাকে নুইয়ে দেয়, আবার কখনো একেবারে সোজা দাঁড় করিয়ে দেয়। এমনি করে তার মৃত্যুক্ষণ এসে উপস্থিত হয়। আর মুনাফিকের দৃষ্টান্ত দাঁড়ানো দেবদারু গাছের মতো, কোন কিছুই তাকে নত করতে পারে না। পরিশেষে তাকে একেবারেই মূলোচ্ছেদ করে দেয়। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬৮৩৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টার ৬৮৯১[ক)
Ka'b b. Malik reported on the authority of his father that the similitude of a believer is that of a standing crop. The wind sometimes shakes it and sometimes raises it up and then it comes to its destined end. And the similitude of a hypocrite is that of a cypress tree which is not affected by anything but is uprooted once for all
আবু বাকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ্ (রহঃ) ..... কা'ব ইবনু মালিক (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মু'মিনের দৃষ্টান্ত নরম চারাগাছের মতো। বাতাস সেটাকে দুলাতে থাকে কখনো তাকে নুইয়ে ফেলে আবার কখনো একেবারে সোজা করে ফেলে। এমনিভাবে অবশেষে সেটা পূর্ণতা লাভ করে শুকিয়ে যায়। আর কাফিরদের দৃষ্টান্ত হচ্ছে স্বীয় কাণ্ডে দাঁড়ানো দেবদার গাছের মতো। কোন কিছুই তাকে নাড়াতে পারে না। কিন্তু এটা একেবারেই মূলোৎপাটিত হয়ে যায়। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬৮৩৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Ka'b reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said that the similitude of a believer is that of a standing crop in a field which is shaken by wind and then it comes to its original position but it stands at its roots. The similitude of a non-believer is that of a cypress tree which stands on its roots and nothing shakes it but it is uprooted (with) one (violent stroke)
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু হাতিম ও মাহমুদ ইবনু গাইলান (রহঃ) ..... কা'ব ইবনু মালিক (রাযিঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত তিনি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম হতে বর্ণনা করেছেন। তবে মাহমুদ এর রিওয়ায়াতে বিশর এর সূত্রে বর্ণিত আছে, مَثَلُ الْكَافِرِ كَمَثَلِ الأَرْزَةِ কাফরের দৃষ্টান্ত দেবদারু গাছের মতো। আর ইবনু হাতিম (রাযিঃ) যুহায়র এর ন্যায় مَثَلُ الْمُنَافِقِ অর্থাৎ- মুনাফিকের দৃষ্টাস্তের কথাটি বর্ণনা করেছেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬৮৩৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
This hadith has been narrated through a couple of other chains of transmitters, one which says "the similitude of the disbeliever" instead and another which agrees with the wording of the previous hadith
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু রাফি ও আবদ ইবনু হুমায়দ (রহঃ) ..... যুহরী (রহঃ) থেকে এ সূত্রে অবিকল হাদীস বর্ণনা করেছেন। তবে আবদুর রাযযাক এর হাদীসে تُمِيلُهُ এর স্থলে تُفِيئُهُ উল্লেখ রয়েছে (উভয়ের অর্থ একই, অর্থাৎ আন্দোলিত করে)। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬৮৩৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
