আমর আন নাকিদ (রহঃ) ..... আবু হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ আল্লাহ তা’আলা স্বীয় আত্মমর্যাদাবোধ প্রকাশ করেন এবং মুমিনগণও স্বীয় আত্মমর্যাদাবোধ প্রকাশ করে। আল্লাহর আত্মমর্যাদায় আঘাত আসে যখন মুমিন আল্লাহ কর্তৃক হারাম কর্মে অগ্রসর হয়। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬৭৪০, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Allah is self-respecting and a believer is also self-respecting and the respect of Allah is injured if a believer does what He has forbidden him to do
উসমান ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ, যুহায়র ইবনু হারব ও ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম (রহঃ) ..... ‘আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসউদ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, আল্লাহর চেয়ে বেশি আত্মপ্রশংসা পছন্দকারী কেউ নেই। এজন্যই তিনি তার স্বীয় সত্তার প্রশংসা করেছেন। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহর চেয়ে বেশি আত্ম-মর্যাদাবোধ সম্পন্নও কোন লোক নেই। এজন্যই তিনি সকল প্রকার অশ্লীলতাকে হারাম করেছেন। আল্লাহর চেয়ে বেশি পরিমাণে ওযর-আপত্তি গ্রহণকারীও আর কেউ নেই। এজন্যই তিনি কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন এবং রসূল পাঠিয়েছেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬৭৩৯, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:None loves one's own praise more than Allah, the Exalted and Glurious, does. It is because of this that He has praised Himself, and none is more self-respecting than Allah and it is because of this that He has prohibited abominable acts and there is none who is more anxious to accept the apologies of the people than Allah Himself and it is because of this that He has revealed the Book and sent the Messengers
قَالَ يَحْيَى وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّهَا، سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " لَيْسَ شَىْءٌ أَغْيَرَ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .

তিনি বলেন, আমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে এ বলতে শুনেছি যে, আল্লাহর চেয়ে বেশি আত্মমর্যাদাবোধ সম্পন্ন আর কেউ নেই। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬৭৪০, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Asma' daughter of Abu Bakr, through another chain of transmitters
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনুল মুসান্না ও ইবনু বাশশার (রহঃ) ..... আবদুল্লাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেন, আল্লাহর চেয়ে বেশি আত্মমর্যাদাবোধ সম্পন্ন আর কেউ নেই। এ কারণেই প্রকাশ্য ও গোপনীয় সকল প্রকার অশ্লীলতাকে তিনি হারাম করে দিয়েছেন। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ থেকে অধিক আত্মপ্রশংসা পছন্দকারীও কেউ নেই। এ কারণেই তিনি তার স্বীয় সত্তার প্রশংসা করেছেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৬৭৩৮, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported it directly from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) that he said:None is more self-respecting than Allah and it is because of this that He has prohibited abominable acts-both visible and invisible and nothing is loved by Allah more than the praise of His Ownself and it is because of this that He has praised Himself
