আহমাদ ইবনু আবদুর রহমান ইবনু ওয়াহব (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে রিওয়ায়াত করেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ ঘুমের মাঝে আমি দেখলাম, আমার হাওয হতে পানি উঠাচ্ছি এবং লোকদের পানি দিচ্ছি। আবূ বাকর এসে আমাকে আরাম করার জন্য আমার হাত হতে বালতি নিয়ে দু'বালতি পানি উত্তোলন করলেন এবং তার উত্তোলনে শক্তি পাচ্ছিল না। আল্লাহ তাকে মাফ করুন। তারপর ইবনু খাত্তাব এসে তার হাত থেকে বালতি নিলেন, তার তুলনায় বেশি শক্তিশালী উত্তোলনকারী আমি আর কোনদিন দেখিনি। লোকেরা আত্মতৃপ্ত সহকারে প্রত্যাবর্তন করল। আর তখনও হাওয পরিপূর্ণ ছিল যেন তা উপচিয়ে পড়ছে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৯৭৯, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:While I was asleep I saw myself drawing water from my tank in order to quench the thirst of the people that there came to me Abu Bakr. He took hold of the leathern bucket from my hand so that he should serve water to the people. He drew two bucketfuls and there was some weakness in his drawing (Allah may forgive him). Then there came Ibn Khattab and he took hold of that, and I did not see a person stronger than he (drawing water) until the people went away with their thirst quenched and the tank filled with water
আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ ও মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু নুমায়র (রহঃ) ..... 'আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু উমর (রাযিঃ) হতে রিওয়ায়াত করেন যে, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ আমি স্বপ্নে লক্ষ্য করলাম যেন এক ছোট বালতি দিয়ে একটি কুয়া হতে পানি উত্তোলন করছি। তখন আবূ বাকর এসে এক বালতি বা দু' বালতি উঠালেন। তার উত্তোলনে দুর্বলতা ছিল। আল্লাহ তাকে মাফ করুন। তারপর উমার এসে পানি তোলা আরম্ভ করলেন। আর বালতিটি বৃহদাকার ধারণ করল। মানুষদের মধ্যে এত বড় শক্তিশালী যুবক আমি আর দেখিনি যে তার ন্যায় কাজ করে। এমনকি মানুষেরা পরিতৃপ্তি লাভ করল এবং তথায় উটশালা বানিয়ে ফেলল। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৯৮০, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abdullah b. 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:I saw (in a dream) as if I was drawing water with a leathern bucket on a wooden pulley. There came Abu Bakr and he drew out a bucketful or two and as he drew out, some weakness (was perceived in it) (may Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, forgive him). Then Umar came in order to serve water -and the bucket was changed into a large leather bucket and I did not see such a wonderful man amongst persons (drawing water) and he went on serving water to the people until they were fully satisfied and then went to their resting places
