তিনি বলেন, মূসা (আঃ) অতি লজ্জাশীল লোক ছিলেন। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, তাকে কেউ বস্ত্রহীন অবস্থায় দেখেনি। বনী ইসরাঈলরা বলতেছিল, মূসার অণ্ডকোষ রোগগ্রস্ত। একদা তিনি পানিতে গোসল করতে গিয়ে কাপড়গুলো একটা পাথরের উপর রাখলেন। পাথরটি (কাপড়সহ) দৌড়ে পালাতে লাগলো। তিনি তার লাঠি হাতে পাথরটিকে মারতে মারতে এর পশ্চাতে ছুটলেন। বলতে লাগলেন, (হে পাথর) আমার কাপড়, হে পাথর! আমার কাপড়। পাথরটি বনী ইসরাঈলের এক জনসমাবেশে গিয়ে থামলো। এ প্রসঙ্গে এ আয়াত নাযিল হলোঃ "হে মুমিনগণ! তোমরা তাদের ন্যায় হয়ো না যারা মূসা (আঃ) কে অপবাদ দিয়েছে। তাদের দেয়া অপবাদ হতে আল্লাহ তাকে পবিত্র করে দিয়েছেন এবং তিনি আল্লাহর নিকট ছিলেন সম্মানিত"- (সূরা আল আহযাব ২৩ঃ ৬৯)। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৯৩৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Huraira reported that Moses was a modest person. He was never seen naked and Banu Isra'iI said:(He was afraid to expose his private part) because he had been suffering from scrotal hernia. He (one day) took bath in water and placed his garments upon a stone. The stone began to move on quickly. He followed that and struck it with the help of a stone (saying): O stone, my garment; O stone, my garments, O stone; until it stopped near the big gathering of Isrii'll, and this verse was revealed (pertaining to the incident):" O you who believe, be not Iike those who maligned Moses, but Allah cleared him of what they said, and he was worthy of regard with Allah" (xxxiii)
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু রাফি এবং আবদ ইবনু হুমায়দ (রহঃ) ...... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, মালাকুল মাওতকে মূসা (আঃ) এর নিকট প্রেরণ করা হয়েছিল। যখন ফেরেশতা তার নিকট আসলেন তখন মূসা (আঃ) তাকে একটা চড় মারলেন। তাতে তার একটা চোখ নষ্ট হয়ে গেল। তারপর তিনি আল্লাহর নিকট ফিরে গেলেন এবং বললেন, আপনি আমাকে এমন এক বান্দার নিকট পাঠিয়েছেন যে মরতে চায় না। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, আল্লাহ তা'আলা ফেরেশতার দৃষ্টি পুনর্বহাল করে দিয়ে বললেন, পুনরায় তার কাছে যাও এবং তাকে বলে, সে যেন তার হাত একটি বলদের পৃষ্ঠের উপর রাখে। এতে যতগুলো লোম তার হাতের নীচে পড়বে প্রতিটি লোমের পরিবর্তে সে এক বছর হায়াত পাবে। মূসা (আঃ) বললেন, তারপর কি হবে? আল্লাহ বললেন, তারপর মরণ। মূসা (আঃ) বললেন, তাহলে এখনই। তিনি বললেন, হে আল্লাহ আমাকে পবিত্র ভূমির এক ঢিলের কাছাকাছি করুন। রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ আমি যদি সেখানে থাকতাম তাহলে পথের পাশে লাল বালির স্তুপের নিকট মুসা (আঃ) এর কবর দেখিয়ে দিতাম। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৯৩৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Huraira reported that the Angel of Death was sent to Moses (peace be upon him) to inform of his Lord's summons. When he came, he (Moses) boxed him and his eye was knocked out. He (the Angel of Death) came back to the Lord and said:You sent me to a servant. who did not want to die. Allah restored his eye to its proper place (and revived his eyesight), and then said: Go back to him and tell him that if he wants life he must place his hand on the back of an ox, and he would be granted as many years of life as the number of hair covered by his hand. He (Moses) said: My Lord what would happen then He said: Then you must court death. He said: Let it be now. And he supplicated Allah to bring him close to the sacred land. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: If I were there, I would have shown you his grave beside the road at the red mound
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু রাফি' (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ বনী ইসরাঈলরা বস্ত্রবিহীন অবস্থায় গোসল করত। তারা পরস্পরের গুপ্তাঙ্গ দেখত। আর মূসা (আঃ) একাকী গোসল করতেন। লোকেরা বলত, মূসা আমাদের সঙ্গে গোসল করে না। কেননা [মূসা (আঃ) এর] অণ্ডকোষে রোগ আছে। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, একদা মূসা (আঃ) পাথরের উপর কাপড় রেখে গোসল দিচ্ছিলেন। সে সময় পাথরটি তার বস্র নিয়ে ছুটতে লাগল। তখন মূসা (আঃ) "ও পাথর। আমার কাপড় দে", "হে পাথর। আমার কাপড় দে” বলে পাথরটির পিছু পিছু দৌড়াতে লাগলেন, এতে বনী ইসরাঈল (প্রকাশ্যে) তার গুপ্তাঙ্গ দেখে ফেলল এবং বলল, আল্লাহর শপথ! মূসার তো কোন রোগ নেই। তারপর পাথরটি থেমে গেল, যখন ভালভাবে তা দৃষ্টিপাত হলো। মূসা (আঃ) কাপড় নিলেন এবং পাথরটিকে মারতে শুরু করলেন। আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) বলেন, আল্লাহর কসম! এ পাথরটির গায়ে মূসা (আঃ) এর ছয় থেকে সাতটি মারের চিহ্ন রয়েছে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৯৩৩, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Hammam b. Munabbih reported that Abu Huraira reported many ahadith from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and one, of them speaks that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) is reported to have said:Banu Isra'il used to take bath (together) naked and thus saw private parts of one another, but Moses (peace be upon him) used to take bath alone (in privacy), and they said: By Allah, nothing prevents Moses to take bath along with us; but scrotal hernia. One day when he (Moses) was taking bath (alone) he placed his clothes upon a stone, but the stone began to move along with his clothes. Moses raced after it saying: My garment, stone; until (some of the people) of Banu Isra'il looked at the private parts of Moses, and they said: By Allah, there is no trouble with Moses. The stone stopped after he (Moses) had been seen. He took hold of his garments and struck the stone. Abu Huraira said: I swear by Allah that there were six or seven scars on the stone because of the striking of stone by Moses (peace be upon him)
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু রাফি' (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ্ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ একদা মালাকুল মাওত মূসা (আঃ) এর নিকট এসে বলল, মূসা তোমার প্রতিপালকের নিকট চলো। বর্ণনাকারী বলেন, তখন তার চোখের উপর মূসা (আঃ) তাকে একটা চপেটাঘাত করলেন, এতে তার চোখ নষ্ট হয়ে গেল। তারপর ফেরেশতা আল্লাহর নিকট ফিরে গিয়ে বললেন, আপনি আমাকে আপনার এমন এক বান্দার নিকট পাঠিয়েছেন যে মরতে চায় না এবং সে আমার চোখ নষ্ট করে দিয়েছে। আল্লাহ তার চোখ ঠিক করে দিলেন এবং বললেন, আমার বান্দার নিকট আবার যাও এবং বলো, তুমি কি আরও দীর্ঘায়ু চাও? যদি তা চাও তবে তোমার হাত একটি বলদের পৃষ্ঠের উপর রাখো। এতে তোমার হাতের নিচে যতগুলো পশম পড়বে, তত বছর তুমি জীবিত থাকবে। মূসা বললেন, তারপর কি? আল্লাহ বললেন, তারপর মৃত্যুবরণ করবে। মূসা (আঃ) বললেন, তবে এখনই ভাল। হে আল্লাহ আমাকে পবিত্র ভূমির একটি পাথরের টিলের দূরত্বে নিয়ে মৃত্যু দান করুন। রসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেন আল্লাহর কসম! যদি আমি সেখানে থাকতাম পাথরের কিনারে লাল বালুকা স্তুপের পাশে তার কবর তোমাদের দেখিয়ে দিতাম। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৯৩৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said that the Angel of Death came to Moses and said:Respond (to the call) of Allah (i. e. be prepared for death). Moses (peace be upon him) gave a blow at the eye of the Angel of Death and knocked it out. The Angel went back to Allah (the Exalted) and said: You sent me to your servant who does not like to die and he knocked out my eye. Allah restored his eye to its proper place (and revived his eyesight) and said: Go to My servant and say: Do you want life? And in case you want life, keep your hand on the body of the ox and you would live such number of years as the (number of) hair your hand covers. He (Moses) said: What, then? He said: Then you would die, whereupon he (Moses) said: Then why not now? (He then prayed): Allah, cause me to die close to the sacred land. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Had I been near that place I would have shown his grave by the side of the path at the red mound
