কুতাইবাহ ইবনু সাঈদ (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ আমার উপমা ও আমার উম্মাতের উপমা সে ব্যক্তির উপমার মতো, যে অগ্নি প্রজ্জ্বলন করেছে ফলে মাকড় ও কীট-পতঙ্গ তাতে জুলতে লাগল। আমি তোমাদের কোমরবন্ধ ধরে (তোমাদের রক্ষার জন্যে) টানছি আর তোমরা সবাই যেন তাতে পড়তে যাচ্ছো। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৭৫৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:The similitude of mine and that of my Umma is that of a person who lit fire and there began to fall into it insects and moths. And I am there to hold you back, but you plunge into it
–(১৬/২২৮৩) আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু বাররাদ আশ'আরী ও আবূ কুরায়ব (রহঃ) ..... আবূ মূসা (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ আমার উদাহরণ এবং আল্লাহ যা দিয়ে আমাকে প্রেরণ করেছেন তার উদাহরণ সে ব্যক্তির উপমার মতো যে তার স্বজাতির নিকট এসে বলে, হে আমার গোত্র! আমি আমার দু’ চোখে (শক্র) সেনা দেখে এসেছি, আর আমি (সুস্পষ্ট) সতর্ককারী। সুতরাং আত্মরক্ষা করো। তখন তার গোত্রের একদল তার কথা মেনে নিল এবং রাতের অন্ধকারে সুযোগে (জায়গা ত্যাগ করে) চলে গেল। আর এক দল তাকে মিথ্যাবাদী সাব্যস্ত করে ভোর পর্যন্ত স্ব-স্থান হতে চলে গেল। ফলে (শক্র) বাহিনী সকালে তাদের হামলা করল এবং তাদের সমূলে ধ্বংস করে দিল। সুতরাং এ হলো তাদের উপমা যারা আমার আনুগত্য করল এবং আমি যা নিয়ে এসেছি তার অনুকরণ করল এবং ওদের উদাহরণ যারা আমার অবাধ্য হলো এবং যে সত্য আমি নিয়ে এসেছি তাকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করল। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৭৫৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Musa reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:The similitude of mine and of that with which Allah sent me is that of a person who came to us and said: O people, I have seen an army with my eyes and I am a plain warner (and issue you warning) that you should immediately manage to find an escape. A group of people from amongst them paying heed (to his warning) fled to a place of protection and a group amongst them belied him and the morning overtook them in their houses and the army attacked them and killed them and they were routed. And that is the similitude of the one who obeyed me, followed with which I had been sent and the similitude of the other is of one who disobeyed and belied me and the Truth with which I have been sent
আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ, আবূ আমির আশ'আরী ও মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু আলা (রহঃ) ..... আবূ বুরদাহ (রাযিঃ) ও আবূ মূসা (রাযিঃ) এর সানাদে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আল্লাহ তা'আলা আমাকে যে হিদায়াত ও ইলম সহকারে প্রেরণ করেছেন; তার দৃষ্টান্ত সে বৃষ্টির মত যা কোন ভূমিতে বর্ষিত হলো, আর সে ভূমির উৎকৃষ্ট কতকাংশ পানি গ্রহণ করে এবং প্রচুর তরতাজা ঘাস-পাতা উৎপাদন করে। আর কতকাংশ হলো শক্ত মাটি, যা পানি আবদ্ধ রাখে, ফলে আল্লাহ তা'আলা তা দ্বারা মানুষের উপকার করেন এবং তারা তা থেকে পান করেন, (অন্যদের) পান করায় ও পশু চড়ায়। আর বৃষ্টি সে জমির আরও কিয়দংশ বর্ষিত হলো- যা উঁচু অনুর্বর, যা কোন পানি আবদ্ধ করে রাখে না আর কোন লতা-পাতাও উৎপাদিত করে না। সে উদাহরণ হলো সেসব লোকের- যারা আল্লাহর দীনের জ্ঞান অর্জন করে এবং আল্লাহ তাদের সেসব বস্তু দিয়ে উপকৃত করেন যা নিয়ে আল্লাহ আমাকে প্রেরণ করেছেন। ফলে সে ইলম অর্জন করে অন্যকেও শিক্ষা দেয়। আর তৃতীয় উদাহরণ হলো ঐ লোকদের যারা তার প্রতি মাথা উঁচু করেও তাকায় না এবং আল্লাহর ঐ হিদায়াতও কবুল করে না, যা নিয়ে আমি প্রেরিত হয়েছি। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫৭৫৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abu Musa reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:The similitude of that guidance and knowledge with which Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, has sent me is that of rain falling upon the earth. There is a good piece of land which receives the rainfall (eagerly) and as a result of it there is grown in it herbage and grass abundantly. Then there is a land hard and barren which retains water and the people derive benefit from it and they drink it and make the animals drink. Then there is another land which is barren. Neither water is retained in it, nor is the grass grown in it. And that is the similitude of the first one who develops the understanding of the religion of Allah and it becomes a source of benefit to him with which Allah sent me. (The second one is that) who acquires the knowledge of religion and imparts it to others. (Then the other type is) one who does not pay attention to (the revealed knowledge) and thus does not accept guidance of Allah with which I have been sent
