This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Sufyan with the same chain of transmitters but with a slight variation of wording
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ তোমাদের কারো লোকমা পড়ে গেলে সে যেন তা তুলে নেয়। তারপর তাতে যে আবর্জনা স্পর্শ করেছে তা যেন দূরীভূত করে এবং খাদ্যটুকু খেয়ে ফেলে। শাইতানের জন্য সেটি যেন ফেলে না রাখে। আর তার আঙ্গুল চেটে না খাওয়া পর্যন্ত সে যেন তার হাত রুমাল দিয়ে মুছে না ফেলে। কেননা সে জানে না খাদ্যের কোন অংশে বারাকাত রয়েছে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫১২৯, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Jabir reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:When any one of you drops a mouthful he should pick it up and remove any of the filth on it, and then eat it, and should not leave it for the Satan, and should not wipe his hand with towel until he has licked his fingers, for he does not know in what portion of the food the blessing lies
তিনি বলেন, আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে বলতে শুনেছি যে, শাইতান তোমাদের সকল কাজ-কর্মে উপস্থিত হয়। এমনকি তোমাদের কারো খাবারের সময়ও সে উপস্থিত হয়। সুতরাং তোমাদের যদি কারো লোকমা মাটিতে পড়ে যায়, সে যেন তাতে লেগে যাওয়া আবর্জনা সরিয়ে তা খেয়ে ফেলে। শাইতানের জন্য যেন ফেলে না রাখে। খাবার শেষে সে যেন তার আঙ্গুলগুলো চেটে খায়। কেননা সে জানে না, তার খাদ্যের কোন অংশে বারাকাত (কল্যাণ) রয়েছে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫১৩১, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Jabir reported:I heard Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: The Satan is present with any one of you in everything he does; he is present even when he eats food; so if any one of you drops a mouthful he should remove away anything filthy on it and eat it and not leave for the devil; and when he finishes (food) he should lick his fingers, for he does not know in what portion of his food the blessing lies
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَمَرَ بِلَعْقِ الأَصَابِعِ وَالصَّحْفَةِ وَقَالَ " إِنَّكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ فِي أَيِّهِ الْبَرَكَةُ " .
আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ্ (রহঃ) ..... জাবির (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আজুল ও বাসন চেটে খেতে* নির্দেশ করেছেন। আর তিনি বলেছেনঃ (খাদ্যের) কোন অংশে বারাকাত আছে তা তোমরা জান না। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৫১২৮, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Jabir reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) commanded the licking of fingers and the dish, saying:You do not know in what portion the blessing lies
