তিনি বলেন, আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মুগাফফাল (রাযিঃ) তার সঙ্গীদের একজনকে পাথর নিক্ষেপ করতে দেখে তাকে বললেন, পাথর মারবে না। কারণ রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম পাথর মারা অপছন্দ করতেন। অথবা বলেছেন, নিষেধ করতেন। কারণ এর দ্বারা শিকার করাও যায় না এবং শক্রকে ঘায়েল করাও যায় না; বরং এটি দাত ভাঙ্গে এবং চক্ষুতে ক্ষত করে। পরবর্তীতে তাকে আবারো পাথর ছুড়তে দেখে তিনি বললেন, আমি তোমাকে জানালাম রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম পাথর নিক্ষেপ পছন্দ করতেন না, অথবা তা নিষেধ করতেন। তবুও তোমাকে পাথর ছুড়তে দেখছি? আমি তোমার সাথে এত এত দিন কথা বলব না। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৮৯২, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Ibn Buraida reported that Abdullah b. al-Mughaffal saw a person from amongst his companions throwing small pebbles, whereupon he said:Don't throw pebbles. for Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) did not like it, or he forbade flinging of pebbles since neither the game is taken thereby, nor an enemy defeated. but it may break a tooth or put out an eye. He, afterwards, again saw him flinging pebbles, and said to him: I inform you that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not approve or he forbade flinging of pebbles, but if I see you again flinging pebbles. I will not speak with you
তিনি বলেনঃ রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ছোট ছোট পাথর ছুড়তে বারণ করেছেন। ইবনু জা'ফার (রহঃ) তাঁর বর্ণনাতে বলেছেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আরও বলেছেনঃ এটা শক্রকে পরাভূত করে না, শিকারও মারতে পারে না বরং এটা দাঁত ভাঙ্গে এবং চোখে আঘাত করে। ইবনু মাহদী (রহঃ) উল্লেখ করেছেন, এটা শক্রকে আঘাত করে না। তিনি “চোখে আঘাত করার কথা” উল্লেখ করেননি। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৮৯৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abdullah b. Mughaffal reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) prohibited throwing of pebbles. Ibn Ja'far reported (in the narration transmitted by him) that he (the Holy Prophet) said:It neither inflicts defeat to the enemy nor kills the game but breaks the tooth and puts the eye out. This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Ibn Mahdi with a slight variation of wording
যুহায়র ইবনু হারব, ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু হাবীব (রহঃ) ...... শু’বাহ্ (রহঃ) হতে এ সানাদে হাদীসটি বর্ণিত। তবে ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) বর্ণিত হাদীসে রয়েছে, এর পিছনের অংশ কিংবা উভয় রান। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৮৯১, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
