মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু আহমাদ ইবনু আবূ খালাফ (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ইরশাদ করেন, প্রত্যেক নবীকে একটি গ্রহণীয় বিশেষ দু'আর অনুমতি দেয়া হয়েছে। সবাই তাদের দু'আ আপন উম্মতের কল্যাণের জন্য করে ফেলেছেন, তবে আমি আমার দু'আটি কিয়ামত দিবসে আমার উম্মতের শাফাআতের জন্য গোপনে অবশিষ্ট রেখে দিয়েছি। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৩৯২, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
Abu Zubair heard Jabir b. Abdullah reporting it from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ):For every apostle was a prayer with which he prayed (to his Lord) for his Ummah, but I have reserved my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ .

Muhammad b. 'Abd al-A'la reported it to me:Mu'tamir narrated to us on the authority of his father who transmitted it liom Anas that verity the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, and then narrated the hadith like the one transmitted by Qatada on the authority of Anas
ইউনুস ইবনু আবদুল আ'লা আস্ সাদাফী (রহঃ) ..... আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আমর ইবনুল আস (রাযিঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, তিনি বলেন, একদা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কুরআনে ইবরাহীম (আঃ) এর দু'আ সম্বলিত আয়াতঃ "হে আমার প্রতিপালক। এ সকল প্রতিমা বহু মানুষকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছে। সুতরাং যে আমার অনুসরণ করবে সে আমার দলভুক্ত। আর যে আমার অবাধ্য হবে তুমি তো ক্ষমাশীল পরম দয়ালু"— (সূরাহ ইবরাহীম ১৪ঃ ৩৬) তিলাওয়াত করেন। আর "ঈসা (আঃ) বলেছেনঃ “তুমি যদি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দাও তবে তারা তো তোমারই বান্দা, আর যদি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা কর, তবে তুমি তো পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়"- (সূরাহ আল মায়িদাহ ৫ঃ ১১৮)। তারপর তিনি তার উভয় হাত উঠালেন এবং বললেন, হে আল্লাহ! আমার উম্মত, আমার উম্মত! আর কেঁদে ফেললেন। তখন মহান আল্লাহ বললেন, হে জিবরীল! মুহাম্মাদের নিকট যাও, তোমার রব তো সবই জানেন তাকে জিজ্ঞেস কর, তিনি কাঁদছেন কেন? জিবরীল (আঃ) এসে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন। তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম যা বলেছিলেন, তা তাকে অবহিত করলেন। আর আল্লাহ তো সর্বজ্ঞ। তখন আল্লাহ তা'আলা বললেন, হে জিবরীল! তুমি মুহাম্মাদ এর কাছে যাও এবং তাকে বল, “নিশ্চয়ই আমি (আল্লাহ) আপনার উম্মতের ব্যাপারে আপনাকে সন্তুষ্ট করে দিব, আপনাকে অসন্তুষ্ট করব না"। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৩৯৩, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
Abdullah b. Amr b. al-'As reported:Verily the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited the words of Allah, the Great and Glorious, that Ibrahim uttered. My Lord! lo! they have led many of mankind astray:" But whoso followeth me, he verily is of me" (al-Qur'an, xiv. 35) and Jesus (peace be upon him) said:" If thou punisheth them, lo! they are Thy slaves, and if Thou forgiveth them-verily Thou art the Mighty, the Wise" (al-Qur'an, v 117). Then he raised his hands and said: O Lord, my Ummah, my Ummah, and wept; so Allah the High and the Exalted said: O Gabriel, go to Muhammad (though your Lord knows it fully well) and ask him: What makes thee weep? So Gabriel (peace be upon him) came to him and asked him, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) informed him what he had said (though Allah knew it fully well). Upon this Allah said: O Gabriel, go to Muhammad and say: Verily We will please thee with regard to your Ummah and would not displease thee
আবূ কুরায়ব, ইবরাহীম ইবনু সাঈদ আল জওহারী ও মিসআর (রহঃ) এ সূত্রে কাতাদাহ (রাযিঃ) থেকে অনুরূপ বর্ণনা করেছেন। তবে ওয়াকী'র বর্ণনায় আছে আনসার (রাযিঃ) থেকে অনুরূপ বর্ণনা করেছেন। তবে ওয়াকী’র বর্ণনায় আছে, আনাস (রাযিঃ) বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, প্রত্যেক নবীকে একটি করে দু'আ প্রদান করা হয়েছে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৩৯০, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
Mis'ar transmitted it with the same chain of narrators from Qatada except that in the hadith narrated by Waki' (the Prophet) said:" He was endowed," and in the hadith reported by Abu Usama (the words are):" It is reported from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
