حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلْبَرَاءِ يَا أَبَا عُمَارَةَ أَفَرَرْتُمْ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ قَالَ لاَ وَاللَّهِ مَا وَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَكِنَّهُ خَرَجَ شُبَّانُ أَصْحَابِهِ وَأَخِفَّاؤُهُمْ حُسَّرًا لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِمْ سِلاَحٌ أَوْ كَثِيرُ سِلاَحٍ فَلَقُوا قَوْمًا رُمَاةً لاَ يَكَادُ يَسْقُطُ لَهُمْ سَهْمٌ جَمْعَ هَوَازِنَ وَبَنِي نَصْرٍ فَرَشَقُوهُمْ رَشْقًا مَا يَكَادُونَ يُخْطِئُونَ فَأَقْبَلُوا هُنَاكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ الْبَيْضَاءِ وَأَبُو سُفْيَانَ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ يَقُودُ بِهِ فَنَزَلَ فَاسْتَنْصَرَ وَقَالَ " أَنَا النَّبِيُّ لاَ كَذِبْ أَنَا ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبْ " . ثُمَّ صَفَّهُمْ .
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... আবূ ইসহাক (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, এক ব্যক্তি বারা (রাযিঃ) কে বললেন, হে আবূ উমারাহ্! আপনারা কি হুনায়নের যুদ্ধে পলায়ন করেছিলেন? তিনি বললেন, না। আল্লাহর কসম রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম পলায়ন করেননি। বরং তার কয়েকজন হালকা পাতলা, চালাক-চতুর তরুণ সাথী, অস্ত্ৰ-শস্ত্র ও বেশী হাতিয়ার বিহীন তারা সরে পড়েন। তারা এমন একদল তীরন্দাযের মুকাবিলা করছিলেন, যাদের তীরের লক্ষ্যস্থল ব্যর্থ হবার নয়। তারা ছিল হাওয়াযিন ও নাযর গোত্রের লোক। তারা এমনভাবে তীর ছুড়ছিল যে, লক্ষ্যস্থল ব্যর্থ হওয়ার ছিল না। তখন তারা রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর দিকে এগিয়ে এলেন। রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সে সময় তার সাদা রঙ্গের খচ্চরের উপর ছিলেন। আর আবূ সুফইয়ান ইবনু হারিস ইবনু আবদুল মুত্তালিব (রাযিঃ) একে টেনে নিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন। তিনি নামলেন এবং আল্লাহর কাছে সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করলেন। রাবী বলেন, যেন তিনি বলেছিলেনঃ “আমি অবশ্যই নবী, এ কথা মিথ্যা নয়। আমি ইবনু আবদুল মুত্তালিব"। তারপর তিনি স্বীয় সেনাদলকে শ্রেণীবদ্ধ করলেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৪৬৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
It has been narratedon the authority of Abu Ishaq who said:A man asked Bara' (b. 'Azib): Did you run away on the Day of Hunain. O, Abu Umira? He said: No, by Allah, The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not turn his back; (what actually happened was that) some young men from among his companions, who were hasty and who were either without any arms or did not have abundant arms, advanced and met a party of archers (who were so good shots) that their arrows never missed the mark. This party (of archers) belonged to Banu Hawazin and Banu Nadir. They shot at the advancing young men and their arrows were not likely to miss their targets. So these young men turned to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while he was riding on his white mule and Abu Sufyan b. al-Harith b. 'Abd al-Muttalib was leading him. (At this) he got down from his mule, invoked God's help, and called out: I am the Prophet. This is no untruth. I am the son of 'Abd al-Muttalib. Then he deployed his men into battle array
ইবনু আবূ উমার (রহঃ) ..... আব্বাস (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি হুনায়নের যুদ্ধের দিন নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সঙ্গে ছিলাম। ..... এরপর তিনি উল্লিখিত হাদীসটি বর্ণনা করেন। তবে ইউনুস এবং মা’মার (রাযিঃ) বর্ণিত হাদীস বর্ণনার দিক দিয়ে অধিক বিস্তারিত এবং পরিপূর্ণ। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৪৬৩, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Abbas reported:I was with Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) on the Day of Hunain. The rest of the hadith is the same but with this variation that the hadith transmitted by Yonus and Ma'mar is more detailed and complete
তিনি বলেন, এক ব্যক্তি বারা (রাযিঃ) এর নিকট এসে বলল, আপনারা কি হুনায়নের দিনে পলায়ন করেছিলেন? তখন তিনি বললেন, আমি সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম পলায়ন করেননি। কিন্তু কিছু সংখ্যক চালাকচতুর হালকাপাতলা লোক হাওয়াযিন গোত্রের দিকে গিয়েছিল। আর তারা ছিল তীরন্দাজ সম্প্রদায়। তারা তাদের প্রতি তীর ছুড়লো, যেন সেগুলো পঙ্গপালের পায়ের মত। তখন তারা পিছন দিকে হটে গেল। আর লোকেরা রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কাছে এগিয়ে এলো। আবূ সুফইয়ান ইবনু হারিস (রাযিঃ) তার খচ্চর টেনে নিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন। তিনি অবতরণ করলেন এবং আল্লাহর কাছে সাহায্য চেয়ে দুআ করলেন এবং তিনি বললেনঃ আমি অবশ্যই আল্লাহর নবী, এ কথা মিথ্যে নয়। আমি ইবনু আবদুল মুত্তালিব। "ইয়া আল্লাহ। আপনার সাহায্য অবতীর্ণ করুন"। বারা (রাযিঃ) বললেন, আল্লাহর কসম যুদ্ধের উত্তেজনা যখন ঘোরতর হয়ে উঠত, তখন আমরা তার মাধ্যমে আত্মরক্ষা করতাম। নিশ্চয়ই আমাদের মাঝে বীরপুরুষ তিনিই যাকে যুদ্ধে তার সামনে রাখা হয়, অর্থাৎ নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৪৬৫, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
It has been narrated (through a different chain of transmitters) by Abu Ishiq that a person said to Bara' (b. 'Azib):Abu Umara, did you flee on the Day of Hunain? He replied: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not retreat. (What actually happened was that some hasty young men who were either inadequately armed or were unarmed met a group of men from Banu Hawazin and Banu Nadir who happened to be (excellent) archers. The latter shot at them a volley of arrows that did not miss. The people turned to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). Abu Sufyan b. Harith was leading his mule. So he got down, prayed and invoked God's help. He said: I am the Prophet. This is no untruth. I am the son of Abd al-Muttalib. O God, descend Thy help. Bara' continued: When the battle grew fierce. we, by God. would seek protection by his side, and the bravest among us was he who confronted the onslaught and it was the Prophet (ﷺ)
ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম, মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু রাফি’ ও ‘আবদ ইবনু হুমায়দ (রহঃ) ..... যুহরী (রহঃ) হতে একই সূত্রে উল্লিখিত হাদীসের অনুরূপ বর্ণনা করেছেন। তবে তিনি 'ফারওয়াহ ইবনু নু'আমাহ জুযামী’ কথাটি অতিরিক্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন এবং তিনি বলেছেন যে, তারা পরাজিত হয়েছে, কাবার রবের কসম! তারা পরাজিত হয়েছে কাবার রবের কসম!" তিনি তার হাদীসে এ কথাটিও বাড়তি বর্ণনা করেছেন যে, "অবশেষে আল্লাহ তা'আলা তাদেরকে পরাজিত করলেন"। রাবী বলেন, আমি যেন নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে তাদের পিছন থেকে দেখলাম যে, তিনি স্বীয় খচ্চরের উপর থেকে নিজ পায়ের গোড়ালি দিয়ে একে প্রহার করছিলেন। (দ্রুত গতিতে চলার জন্য।) (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৪৬২, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
A version of the tradition has been transmitted through another chain of narrators. In this version the words uttered by the Prophet (ﷺ) (after he had thrown the pebbles in the face of the enemy) are reported as:" By the Lord of the Ka'ba, they have been defeated." And there is at the end the addition of the words:" Until Allah defeated them" (and I imagine) as if I saw the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) chasing them on his mule
