ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... ইবনু উমার (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, উমার ইবনু খাত্তাব (রাযিঃ) আল্লাহর রাস্তায় একটি ঘোড়া দান করেন। পরে তিনি দেখলেন তা বিক্রি করা হচ্ছে। তখন তিনি তা ক্রয় করতে চাইলেন এবং রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট এ সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন। রসূলুল্লাহ বললেন, তুমি তা ক্রয় করো না এবং তোমার সদাকাহ করা জিনিসকে ফিরিয়ে নিও না। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪০২২, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Ibn 'Umar reported that 'Umar b. al-Khattib (Allah be pleased with him) donated a horse in the path of Allah and (later on) he found it being sold, and he decided to buy that. He asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about it. whereupon he (the Holy prophet) said:Don't buy that and do not get back what you gave in charity
ইবনু আবূ উমর (রহঃ) ..... যায়দ ইবনু আসলাম (রহঃ) এর সূত্রে উক্ত হাদীস বর্ণনা করেন। তবে মালিক ও রাওহ (রহঃ) এর হাদীস পরিপূর্ণ ও বেশী নির্ভরযোগ্য। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪০২১, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zaid b. Aslam with the same chain of transmitters but with this (change) that the hadith transmitted on the authority of Malik and Rauh (he was the son of Qisirn) is more complete and lengthy
উমাইয়াহ ইবনু বিসতাম (রহঃ) ..... উমার ইবনুল খাত্তাব (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত যে, তিনি একটি ঘোড়া আল্লাহর রাস্তায় দান করেন। পরে তিনি তার মালিকের নিকট ঘোড়াটি দেখতে পান যে, সে তাকে নষ্ট করে ফেলেছে। সে লোকটি ছিল গরীব। তাই তিনি তা কিনে নেয়ার ইচ্ছা করেন। তখন তিনি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট গিয়ে এ বিষয়টি তাকে বললেন। তিনি বললেন, এক দিরহামের বিনিময়ে দিলেও তুমি তা খরিদ করবে না। কেননা, যে ব্যক্তি আপন দান ফিরিয়ে নেয়, সে সেই কুকুরের ন্যায়, যে নিজে বমি করে আবার তা খায়। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪০২০, ইসলামিক সেন্টার)
Zaid b. Aslam reported on the authority of his father that 'Umar (Allah be pleased with him) donated a horse in the path of Allah. He found that it had languished in the hand of its possessor, and he was a man of meagre resources He (Hadrat 'Umar) intended to buy it. He came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and made a mention of that to him, whereupon he said:Don't buy that even if you get it for a dirham for he who gets back the charity is like a dog which swallows its vomit
