আবূ গাসসান মিসমাঈ ও আবূল খাত্ত্বাব যিয়াদ ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহিমাহুমাল্লাহ) ..... উসমান ইবনু আফফান (রাযিঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-বলেছেনঃ মুহরিম ব্যক্তি না বিবাহ করবে, না বিবাহ করাবে, আর না বিবাহের প্রস্তাব দিবে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৩১৪, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Uthman b. 'Affan reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had said:A Muhrim should neither marry himself, nor should he be got married to anyone, nor should he make the proposal of marriage
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু আবূ বাকর আল মুকাদ্দামী (রহঃ) ..... নুবায়হ ইবনু ওয়াহব (রহঃ) বলেন, উমার ইবনু উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনু মা'মার আমাকে আ'বান ইবনু উসমানের নিকট পাঠালেন এ উদ্দেশে যে, তিনি নিজ পুত্রের সাথে শায়বাহ্ ইবনু উসমানের কন্যার বিবাহের প্রস্তাব দেয়ার মনস্থ করেছিলেন। তিনি (আ'বান) তখন হাজের (হজ্জের/হজের) দায়িত্বে ছিলেন। তিনি বললেন, আমি তো তাকে বেদুঈনের মতো আচরণ করতে দেখেছি।" কারণ (এটাতো সাধারণ জ্ঞানের ব্যাপার যে) ইহরাম বস্ত্র পরিহিত ব্যক্তি না বিবাহ করতে পারে, না বিবাহ করাতে পারে।" রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর এ হাদীস উসমান (রাযিঃ) আমার কাছে বর্ণনা করেছেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৩১৩, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Nubaih b. Wahb reported:Umar b. Ubaidullah b. Ma'mar sent me to Aban b. Uthman as he wanted to make the proposal of the marriage of his son with the daughter of Shaiba b. Uthman. He (Aban b. Uthman) was at that time (busy) in the season of Pilgrimage. He said: I deem him to be a man of the desert (for it is a common thing) that a Muhrim can neither marry, nor is he allowed to be married to anyone. It is Uthman (b. Affan) who reported this to us from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)

Uthman (b. 'Affan) reported it directly from Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) that he said:A Muhrim should neithermarry (in that state) nor make the proposal of marriage
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، أَنَّفَقَالَ أَبَانٌ سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ يَنْكِحُ الْمُحْرِمُ وَلاَ يُنْكَحُ وَلاَ يَخْطُبُ " .
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... নুবায়হ ইবনু ওয়াহব (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, উমার ইবনু উবায়দুল্লাহ্ (রহঃ) শায়বাহ্ ইবনু জুবায়রের কন্যার সাথে নিজ পুত্র তলহার বিবাহ দেয়ার মনস্থ করেন। অতএব তিনি উসমান (রাযিঃ) এর পুত্র আবানের কাছে লোক পাঠালেন (তাকে বিবাহ অনুষ্ঠানে যোগদানের দাওয়াত দেয়ার জন্য)। তিনি সেখানে উপস্থিত হলেন। আর তিনি এ সময় আমীরুল হাজ্জ (হজ্জ/হজ) ছিলেন। আবান বলেন, আমি উসমান ইবনু আফফান (রাযিঃ)-কে বলতে শুনেছি যে, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ (হাজ্জ (হজ্জ/হজ) বা উমরাহ পালনের উদ্দেশে) ইহরামধারী ব্যক্তি নিজেও বিবাহ করবে না, অন্যকেও বিবাহ করাবে না এবং বিবাহের প্রস্তাবও দিবে না। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৩১২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Nubaih b. Wahb reported that 'Umar b. Ubaidullah intended to marry Talha b. 'Umar with the daughter of Shaiba b. Jubair; so he sent a messenger to Aban b. Uthman to attend the marriage, and he was at that time the Amir of Hajj. Aban said:I heard 'Uthman b. 'Affan say that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had stated: A Muhrim must neither marry himself, nor arrange the marriage of another one, nor should he make the proposal of marriage
