আমর আন নাকিদ ও যুহায়র ইবনু হারব (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) বর্ণনা করেন যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেনঃ আল্লাহ তা'আলা আমার উম্মতের জন্য কথা কাজে পরিণত না করা পর্যন্ত তাদের মনের কল্পনাগুলো ক্ষমা করে দিয়েছেন। যুহায়র ইবনু হারব, ইসহাক ইবনু মানসূর (রহঃ) ..... কাতাদাহ্ (রহঃ) এর সূত্রেও হাদীসটি অনুরূপভাবে বর্ণিত আছে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ২৩২, ২৩৩; ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed:Verily the Great and Mighty Allah forgave my people the evil promptings arising in their minds, but they neither talked about them nor acted upon them
সাঈদ ইবনু মানসূর, কুতাইবাহ ইবনু সাঈদ ও মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু উবায়দ আল গুবারী (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) বর্ণনা করেন যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ কথা বা কাজে পরিণত না করা পর্যন্ত আল্লাহ তা'আলা আমার উম্মতের জন্য তাদের মনে কল্পনাগুলোকে মাফ করে দিয়েছেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ২৩১, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed:Verily Allah forgave my people the evil promptings which arise within their hearts as long as they did not speak about them or did not act upon them
আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ, আবূ কুরায়ব ও ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম (রহঃ) ..... ইবনু আব্বাস (রাযিঃ) বলেন যে, (মহান আল্লাহর বাণীঃ) "তোমাদের মনে যা আছে তা প্রকাশ কর কিংবা গোপন রাখ, আল্লাহ তোমাদের নিকট হতে তার হিসাব গ্রহণ করবেন"- (সূরাহ আল বাকারাহ ২ঃ ২৮৪)। এ আয়াতটি নাযিল হলে সাহাবাগণ খুবই উদ্বিগ্ন হলেন, আর কোন বিষয়ে তারা এতো উদ্বিগ্ন হননি। তখন নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেন, বরং তোমরা বল, শুনলাম, আনুগত্য স্বীকার করলাম এবং মেনে নিলাম। ইবনু আব্বাস (রাযিঃ) বলেন, আল্লাহ তা'আলা তাদের অন্তরে ঈমান ঢেলে দিলেন। তিনি নাযিল করলেন, আল্লাহ তা'আলা কারোর উপর এমন কোন কষ্টদায়ক দায়িত্ব অর্পণ করেন না, যা তার সাধ্যাতীত। সে ভালো যা উপার্জন করে তা তারই, আর মন্দ যা উপার্জন করে তাও তারই। হে আমাদের রব। যদি আমরা ভুলে যাই অথবা ভুল করে ফেলি তবে আমাদের পাকড়াও করো না। তখন আল্লাহ তা'আলা বললেনঃ অবশ্যই মেনে নিলাম। আল্লাহ তা'আলা আরো ইরশাদ করলেনঃ হে আমাদের রব! আমাদের পূর্ববর্তীগণের উপর যেমন গুরু দায়িত্ব অর্পণ করেছিলে, আমাদের উপর তেমন দায়িত্ব অর্পণ করো না। আল্লাহ তা'আলা বলেনঃ অবশ্যই মেনে নিলাম। আল্লাহ তা'আলা আরও ঘোষণা করলেনঃ "(বলুন) আমাদের পাপ মোচন কর, আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা কর এবং আমাদের প্রতি দয়া কর, তুমিই আমাদের রব।" আল্লাহ তা'আলা বলেনঃ অবশ্যই মেনে নিলাম। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ২৩০, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas:When this verse:" Whether you disclose that which is in your mind or conceal it, Allah will call you to account according to it" (ii 284), there entered in their minds something (of that fear) such as had never entered their hearts (before). The Apostle (ﷺ) observed: Say: We have heard and obeyed and submitted ourselves. He (the reporter) said: Allah instilled faith in their hearts and He revealed this verse:" Allah burdens not a soul beyond its capacity. It gets every good that it earns and it suffers every ill that it earns. Our Lord, call us not to account if we forget or make a mistake. He the (Lord) said: I indeed did it. Our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us. He (our Lord) said: I indeed did it. And pardon us, have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector" (ii. 286).
