ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... আলী (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাকে তার কুরবানীর উটগুলোর নিকট দাঁড়াতে এবং এগুলোর গোশত, চামড়া ও ঝুল দান খয়রাত করে দিতে নির্দেশ দিলেন এবং তা দিয়ে কসাইয়ের মজুরি দিতে নিষেধ করলেন এবং বললেনঃ আমাদের নিজেদের পক্ষ থেকে তার মজুরি পরিশোধ করে দেব। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩০৪৬, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
All (Allah be pleased with him) reperted:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) put me in charge of his sacrificial animals, that I should give their flesh. skins and saddle cloths as sadaqa, but not to give anything to the butcher, saying: We would pay him ourselves
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনুল মিনহাল আয যারীর (রহঃ) ..... বাকর ইবনু আবদুল্লাহ আল মুযানী (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি ইবনু আব্বাস (রাযিঃ) এর সাথে কাবার সন্নিকটে বসা ছিলাম। এ সময় এক বেদুঈন তার নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে বলল, কী ব্যাপার? আমি দেখছি আপনার চাচাতো ভাইয়েরা (আগন্তুকদের) মধু ও দুধ পান করায়। আর আপনারা নবীয (খেজুরের তৈরি শরবত) পান করান? তা কি আপনাদের দরিদ্রতার কারণে, না কৃপণতার কারণে? ইবনু আব্বাস (রাযিঃ) "আলহামদু লিল্লাহ" উচ্চারণ করে বললেন, আমাদের না দারিদ্র্য আক্রান্ত করেছে, না কৃপণতা। প্রকৃত ব্যাপার এই যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তার সওয়ারীতে চড়ে এখানে এলেন এবং তাকে এক পেয়ালা নবীয দিলাম। তিনি তা পান করলেন এবং অবশিষ্টটুকু উসামাকে পান করালেন। এরপর তিনি বললেন, “তোমরা খুবই উত্তম কাজ করেছো এবং এরূপই করতে থাক।" অতএব রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের যা করার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন- আমরা তার পরিবর্তন করতে চাই না। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩০৪৫, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Bakr b. 'Abdullah al-Muzani said:While I was sitting along with Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with him) near the Ka'ba, there came a bedouin to him and said: What is the matter that I see that the progeny of your uncle supply honey and milk (as drink to the travellers), whereas you supply al-nabidh (water sweetened with dates)? Is it due to your poverty or due to your close-fistedness? Thereupon Ibn 'Abbas said: Allah be praised, it is neither due to poverty nor due to close-fistedness (but due to the fact) that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) came here riding his she-came, and there was sitting behind him Usama. He asked for water, and we gave him a cup full of nabidh and he drank it, and gave the remaining (part) to Usama; and he (the Holy Prophet) said: You have done Food, You have done well. So continue doing like it So we do not like to change what Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had commanded us to do
