মুহাম্মাদ বিন রাফি এবং আবদ ইবনু হুমায়দ (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, হুনায়নের যুদ্ধে আমরা রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম এর সাথে ছিলাম। তিনি এক ব্যক্তিকে দোযখী বলে চিহ্নিত করলেন, যে আমাদের মাঝে মুসলিম হিসেবে পরিচিত ছিল। যখন আমরা যুদ্ধে লিপ্ত হলাম, ঐ লোকটি ভীষণভাবে যুদ্ধ করলো, সে আহত হয়ে গেলো। এ সময় কেউ এসে বললো, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! কিছুক্ষণ আগে আপনি যার সম্পর্কে বলেছিলেন যে, সে জাহান্নামী আজ সে ভীষণভাবে জিহাদ করে মারা গেছে। এ কথা শুনে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেন, সে জাহান্নামে চলে গেছে। কিন্তু এতে কোন কোন মুসলিম সন্দেহে পতিত হল। ইত্যবসরে কেউ এসে বললো, লোকটি এখনও মরেনি, তবে সে মারাত্মকভাবে আহত। পরে যখন রাত হলো, সে জখমের যন্ত্রণা সহ্য করতে না পেরে আত্মহত্যা করলো। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম কে এ সংবাদ জানানো হলো। তিনি বললেন, আল্লাহু আকবার, আমি সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে, আমি নিশ্চিত আল্লাহর বান্দা ও তার রাসূল। অতঃপর তিনি বিলাল (রাযিঃ) কে নির্দেশ দিলেন তখন তিনি লোকদের মাঝে ঘোষণা করলেন, মুসলিম ব্যতীত কোন ব্যক্তিই জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করতে পারবে না। অবশ্য আল্লাহ তা'আলা পাপী ব্যক্তির দ্বারাও এ দীনের সাহায্য ও শক্তি প্রদান করবেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ২০৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira:We participated in the Battle of Hunain along with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He (the Holy Prophet) said about a man who claimed to be a Muslim that he was one of the denizens of the Fire (of Hell). When we were in the thick of the battle that man fought desperately and was wounded. It was said: Messenger of Allah, the person whom you at first called as the denizen of Fire fought desperately and died. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) remarked: He was doomed to the Fire (of Hell). Some men were on the verge of doubt (about his fate) when it was said that he was not dead but fatally wounded. When it was night he could not stand the (pain of his) wound and killed himself. The Apostle (ﷺ) was informed of that. He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Allah is Great, I bear testimony to the fact that I am the servant of Allah and His messenger. He then commanded Bilal to announce to the people that none but a Muslim would enter Paradise. Verily Allah helps this faith even by a sinful person
It is narrated on the authority of Thabit b. Dahhak that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed:He who took deliberately a false oath on a religion other than Islam would become that which he had professed. And he who killed himself with anything Allah would torment him with that in the Fire of Hell
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقَارِيُّ - حَىٌّ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ - عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْتَقَى هُوَ وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ فَاقْتَتَلُوا . فَلَمَّا مَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى عَسْكَرِهِ وَمَالَ الآخَرُونَ إِلَى عَسْكَرِهِمْ وَفِي أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلٌ لاَ يَدَعُ لَهُمْ شَاذَّةً إِلاَّ اتَّبَعَهَا يَضْرِبُهَا بِسَيْفِهِ فَقَالُوا مَا أَجْزَأَ مِنَّا الْيَوْمَ أَحَدٌ كَمَا أَجْزَأَ فُلاَنٌ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَمَا إِنَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ " . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ أَنَا صَاحِبُهُ أَبَدًا . قَالَ فَخَرَجَ مَعَهُ كُلَّمَا وَقَفَ وَقَفَ مَعَهُ وَإِذَا أَسْرَعَ أَسْرَعَ مَعَهُ - قَالَ - فَجُرِحَ الرَّجُلُ جُرْحًا شَدِيدًا فَاسْتَعْجَلَ الْمَوْتَ فَوَضَعَ نَصْلَ سَيْفِهِ بِالأَرْضِ وَذُبَابَهُ بَيْنَ ثَدْيَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَحَامَلَ عَلَى سَيْفِهِ فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ فَخَرَجَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " وَمَا ذَاكَ " . قَالَ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي ذَكَرْتَ آنِفًا أَنَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَأَعْظَمَ النَّاسُ ذَلِكَ فَقُلْتُ أَنَا لَكُمْ بِهِ فَخَرَجْتُ فِي طَلَبِهِ حَتَّى جُرِحَ جُرْحًا شَدِيدًا فَاسْتَعْجَلَ الْمَوْتَ فَوَضَعَ نَصْلَ سَيْفِهِ بِالأَرْضِ وَذُبَابَهُ بَيْنَ ثَدْيَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَحَامَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ " إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ وَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ وَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ " .
কুতাইবাহ ইবনু সাঈদ (রহঃ) ..... সাহল ইবনু সা’দ আস্ সাইদী (রাযিঃ) বলেন যে, একবার রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম তার সেনাবাহিনীর দিকে অগ্রসর হলে অপরপক্ষও তাদের সেনাবাহিনীর সঙ্গে মিলিত হলো। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম এর সঙ্গীদের মধ্যে সে সময় এমন এক ব্যক্তি ছিল যে, সেদিন বীরত্বের সাথে লড়েছিল। কোন কাফিরকে দেখামাত্র সে তার পিছনে লেগে যেতো এবং তরবারি দ্বারা খতম করে দিত। লোকেরা তার বীরত্ব দেখে বলাবলি করছিল যে, অমুক ব্যক্তি আজ যে বীরত্বের পরিচয় দিয়েছে আমাদের কেউ তা পারেনি। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেন, মনে রেখো! সে ব্যক্তি জাহান্নামী। উপস্থিত লোকদের একজন বললো, আমি সর্বক্ষণ তার সাথে থাকবো। তারপর সে ব্যক্তি তার পিছনে থাকলো। যেখানে সে থামত সেও তথায় থেমে যেতো। তখন সে দ্রুতবেগে কোথাও যেতো সেও তার সাথে দ্রুতবেগে তথায় গমন করতো। শেষ পর্যন্ত সে ব্যক্তি মারাত্মকভাবে জখম হলো। তারপর ক্ষতের জ্বালার তীব্রতা সহ্য করতে না পেরে তরায় মৃত্যু কামনা করলো। সে তার তরবারি জমিনে রেখে এর অগ্রভাগ তার উভয় স্তনের মাঝামাঝি ঠেকিয়ে তার উপর ঝুঁকে পড়লো এবং নিজেকে হত্যা করলো। তাকে অনুসরণকারী লোকটি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম এর কাছে গেলো এবং সাক্ষ্য প্রদান করলো, নিঃসন্দেহে আপনি আল্লাহর রাসূল। তিনি বলেন, ব্যাপার কি? সে বলল, আপনি একটু আগে যে ব্যক্তিকে জাহান্নামী বলেছিলেন এবং লোকেরা এতে আশ্চর্যাম্বিত হয়েছিল; আমি বলেছিলাম, আমি তার সাথে সাথে থেকে তোমাদেরকে খবর দিব। আমি অপেক্ষায় থাকলাম। অবশেষে সে মারাত্মকভাবে আহত হলো এবং তরায় মৃত্যুর জন্য নিজের তরবারি জমিনে রেখে এর অগ্রভাগ তার উভয় স্তনের মাঝামাঝি ঠেকিয়ে দিল। তারপর এর উপর ঝুঁকে পড়লো এবং নিজেকে হত্যা করলো। এ কথা শুনে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেন, লোকের দৃষ্টিতে কোন ব্যক্তি জান্নাতের কাজ করছে অথচ সে জাহান্নামী হয় আবার লোকের দৃষ্টিতে কোন ব্যক্তি জাহান্নামের কাজ করছে অথচ সে জান্নাতবাসী। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ২০৭, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is reported on the authority of Sahl b. Sa'd al-Sa'idi that there was an encounter between the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and the polytheists, and they fought (against one another). At the conclusion of the battle the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) bent his steps towards his army and they (the enemies) bent their steps towards their army. And there was a person (his name was Quzman and he was one of the hypocrites) among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who did not spare a detached (fighter of the enemy) but pursued and killed him with the sword. They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said:None served us better today than this man Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) remarked: Verily he is one of the denizens of Fire. One of the people (Muslims) said: I will constantly shadow him. Then this man went out along with him. He halted whenever he halted, and ran along with him whenever he ran. He (the narrator) said: The man was seriously injured. He (could not stand the pain) and hastened his own death. He placed the blade of the sword on the ground with the tip between his chest and then pressed himself against the sword and killed himself. Then the man (following him) went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: I bear testimony that verily thou art the Messenger of Allah, He (the Holy Prophet) said: What is the matter? He replied: The person about whom you just mentioned that he was one among the denizens of Fire and the people were surprised (at this) and I said to them that I would bring (the news about him) and consequently I went out in search of him till I (found him ) to be very seriously injured. He hastened his death. He placed the blade of the sword upon the ground and its tip between his chest and then pressed himself against that and killed himself. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) remarked: A person performs the deeds which to the people appear to be the deeds befitting the dweller of Paradise, but he is in fact one of the denizens of Hell. And verily a person does an act which in the eyes of public is one which is done by the denizens of Hell, but the person is one among the dwellers of Paradise
আবূ গাস্সান আল মিসমাঈ (রহঃ) ..... সাবিত ইবনু যাহহাক (রাযিঃ) বলেন যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেন, সে বস্তুর মানৎ কার্যকরী নয়, যার মালিক সে নয়। মু'মিনকে অভিশাপ করা তাকে হত্যা করার সমান। যে ব্যক্তি দুনিয়াতে কোন বস্তু দ্বারা আত্মহত্যা করবে কিয়ামত দিবসে উক্ত বস্তু দ্বারা তাকে শাস্তি দেয়া হবে। যে ব্যক্তি সম্পদ বৃদ্ধির জন্য মিথ্যা দাবী করে, আল্লাহ তা'আলা তার জন্য স্বল্পতাই বৃদ্ধি করবেন। আর যে ব্যক্তি বিচারকের সামনে দৃঢ়তার সাথে মিথ্যা শপথ করবে (তার অবস্থাও মিথ্যাদাবীদারের অনুরূপ হবে)। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ২০৪, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is narrated on the authority of Thabit b. al-Dahhak that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observes:None is obliged to give votive offering (of a thing) which is not in his possession and the cursing of a believer is tantamount to killing him, and he who killed himself with a thing in this world would be tormented with that (very thing) on the Day of Resurrection, and he who made a false claim to increase (his wealth), Allah would make no addition but that of paucity, and he who perjured would earn the wrath of God
