আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শায়বাহ (রহঃ) ..... কা'ব ইবনু উজরাহ (রাযিঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত আছে যে, তিনি ইহরাম অবস্থায় নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সাথে রওনা হলেন। তার মাথা ও দাড়িতে উকুন ধরে যায়। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তা জানতে পেরে তাকে ডেকে পাঠালেন এবং একজন নাপিতও ডাকলেন। সে তার মাথা মুড়িয়ে দিল। অতঃপর তিনি বললেন, তোমার সাথে কুরবানীর পশু আছে কি? তিনি বললেন, আমি তা সংগ্রহ করতে সক্ষম নই। অতঃপর নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাকে তিনদিন সওম পালনের অথবা ছয়জন মিসকীনের প্রত্যেককে এক সা' করে খাদ্য দান করার নির্দেশ দিলেন। আল্লাহ তা'আলা বিশেষ করে তার প্রসঙ্গে নাযিল করলেন, “তোমাদের মধ্যে যে ব্যক্তি রোগাক্রান্ত হবে অথবা যার মাথায় কোন অসুখ হবে...”। অতঃপর এ আয়াতের নির্দেশ সাধারণভাবে সকল মুসলিমের ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৭৫১, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Ka'b b. Ujra (Allah be pleased with him) reported that he went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in the state of Ihram, and his (Ka'b's) head and beard were infested with lice. This was conveyed to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He sent for him (Ka'b) and called a barber (who) shaved his head. He (the Holy Prophet) said. Is there any sacrificial animal with you? He (Kalb) said:I cannot afford it. He then commanded him to observe fasts for three days or feed six needy persons, one sa' for every two needy persons. And Allah the Exalted and Majestic revealed this (verse) particular with regard to him:" So whosoever among you is sick and has an ailment of the head.." ; then (its application) became general for the Muslims
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনুল মুসান্না ও ইবনু বাশশার (রহিমাহুমাল্লাহ) ..... 'আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মা'কিল (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি মসজিদে কা'ব ইবনু উজরাহ (রাযিঃ) এর নিকট বসলাম। অতঃপর আমি তাকে এ আয়াত সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম, “ফিদইয়াহ হিসেবে সওম পালন করতে হবে অথবা সদাকাহ দিতে হবে অথবা কুরবানী করতে হবে।" কা'ব (রাযিঃ) বললেন, তা আমার সম্পর্কে নাযিল হয়েছে। আমার মাথায় কিছু কষ্ট ছিল। অতঃপর আমাকে রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর নিকট নিয়ে যাওয়া হল এবং তখন আমার মুখমণ্ডলে উকুন গড়িয়ে পড়ছিল। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, আমি যা দেখছি তাতে মনে হয় যে, তোমার অসহনীয় কষ্ট হচ্ছে। তুমি কি একটি বকরী সংগ্রহ করতে সক্ষম হবে? আমি বললাম, না। তখন এ আয়াত নাযিল হয়, “ফিদইয়াহ্ হিসেবে সওম পালন করতে হবে, সদাক্বাহ করতে হবে অথবা কুরবানী করতে হবে।" নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, তিনদিন সওম পালন কর অথবা ছয়জন মিসকীনের প্রত্যেককে অর্ধ সা' করে খাদ্য দান কর। কা'ব (রাযিঃ) বলেন, আয়াতটি বিশেষভাবে আমার প্রসঙ্গে নাযিল হয়েছে কিন্তু এর নির্দেশ সাধারণভাবে তোমাদের সকলের ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৭৫০, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abdullah b. Ma'qil said:I sat with Ka'b (Allah be pleased with him) and he was in the mosque. I asked him about this verse:" Compensation in (the form of) fasting, or Sadaqa or sacrifice." Ka'b (Allah be pleased with him) said: It was reveal- ed In my case. There was some trouble in my head. I was taken to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and lice were creeping upon my face. Thereupon he said: I did not think that your trouble had become so unbearable as I see. Would you be able to afford (the sacrificing) of a goat? I (Ka'b) said: Then this verse was revealed:" Com- pensation (in the form of) fasting or alms or a sacrifice." He (the Holy Prophet) said: (It Implies) fasting for three days, or feeding six needy perscins, half sa' of food for every needy person. This verse was revealed particularly for me and (now) Its applica- tion is general for all of you
