আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শায়বাহ ও ইবনু নুমায়র (রহঃ) ..... উসমান ইবনু হাকীম আল আনসারী (রহঃ) বলেন, আমি রজব মাসের সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) সম্পর্কে সাঈদ ইবনু জুবায়র কে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম। তিনি বললেন, আমি ইবনু আব্বাস (রাযিঃ) কে বলতে শুনেছি, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম একাধারে সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করতে থাকতেন যাতে আমরা বলতাম, তিনি হয়ত আর সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) ছাড়বেন না। আবার তিনি এমনভাবে ক্রমাগত সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) না রেখে থাকতেন যাতে আমরা বলতাম, তিনি বুঝি আর (এ মাসে) সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করবেন না। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৫৯৩, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Uthman b. Hakim al-Ansari said:I asked Sa'id b. Jubair about fasting In Rajab, and we were then passing through the month of Rajab, whereupon he said: I heard Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with both of them) as saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to observe fast (so continuously) that we (were inclined) to say that he would not break (them) and did not observe them so conti- nuously) that we (were inclined to say) that he would not observe fast
মুহাম্মদ ইবনু বাশশার ও আবূ বাকর ইবনু নাফি (রহঃ) ..... আবূ বিশর (রহঃ) এর সূত্রে এ সানাদে উপরের হাদীসের অনুরূপ বর্ণিত হয়েছে। তবে এতে আছে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম মাদীনাতে আসার পর কখনো একাধারে এক মাস (নাফল) সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করেননি। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৫৯২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Bishr with the same chain of transmitters (with a slight variation of words and these are), that he (the narrator) said:" During any month continuously since he came to Medina
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম রমযান মাস ছাড়া আর কখনো পূর্ণ মাস সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করতেন না। তিনি যখন সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করতেন তখন ক্রমাগত সিয়াম পালন করে যেতেন। ফলে লোকেরা বলত, আল্লাহর কসম! হয়ত তিনি আর সিয়াম ভঙ্গ করবেন না। আবার যখন তিনি সিয়াম ছেড়ে দিতেন একাধারেই বিরতি দিতে থাকতেন। এমনকি লোকেরা বলত আল্লাহর কসম! তিনি হয়ত আর সিয়াম পালন করবেন না।*(ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৫৯১, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not fast throughout any month except during ramadan. And when he observed fast (he fasted so continuously) that one would say that he would not break (them) and when he Abandoned, he abandoned (so continuously) that one would say: By Allah, perhaps he would never fast
