It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed:He who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride shall not enter Paradise
মিনজাব ইবনু আল হারিস আত তামীমী ও সুওয়াইদ ইবনু সাঈদ (রহঃ) ..... 'আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসউদ (রাযিঃ) বলেন যে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেন, যার অন্তরে সরিষার দানা পরিমাণ ঈমান থাকবে সে জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে না। আর যে ব্যক্তির অন্তরে সরিষার দানা পরিমাণ অহংকার থাকবে সেও জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে না। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ১৬৮, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah b. Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed:None shall enter the Fire (of Hell) who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of Iman and none shall enter Paradise who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي وَوَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ وَكِيعٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ مَاتَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ النَّارَ " . وَقُلْتُ أَنَا وَمَنْ مَاتَ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ .
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু নুমায়র (রহঃ) ..... 'আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসউদ (রাযিঃ) বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেন, অন্য বর্ণনায় রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম কে বলতে শুনেছি। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সাথে কোন কিছুকে শারীক করে মারা যাবে সে জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে। আমি বলি, যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কাউকে শারীক না করা অবস্থায় মারা যায় সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ১৭০, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Mas'ud that Waki told (him) that the Messenger of Allah had observed and Ibn Numair asserted:I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: He who dies associating anything with Allah would enter the Fire (of Hell). 'Abdullah b. Mas'ud said: I say that he who died without associating anything with Allah entered Paradise
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু আল মুসান্না, মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু বাশশার ও ইবরাহীম ইবনু দীনার (রহঃ) ..... 'আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসউদ (রাযিঃ) বলেন যে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যার অন্তরে অণুপরিমাণ অহংকার থাকবে সে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে না। এক ব্যক্তি জিজ্ঞেস করলো, মানুষ চায় যে, তার পোশাক সুন্দর হোক, তার জুতা সুন্দর হোক, এ-ও কি অহঙ্কার? রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেনঃ আল্লাহ সুন্দর, তিনি সুন্দরকে ভালোবাসেন। প্রকৃতপক্ষে অহংকার হচ্ছে দম্ভভরে সত্য ও ন্যায় অস্বীকার করা এবং মানুষকে ঘৃণা করা*। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ১৬৭, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ)
It Is narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), observed:He who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride shall not enter Paradise. A person (amongst his hearers) said: Verily a person loves that his dress should be fine, and his shoes should be fine. He (the Holy Prophet) remarked: Verily, Allah is Graceful and He loves Grace. Pride is disdaining the truth (out of self-conceit) and contempt for the people
