وَحَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّاءَ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، - رضى الله عنه - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا " . عَشْرًا وَعَشْرًا وَتِسْعًا مَرَّةً .
কাসিম ইবনু যাকারিয়্যা (রহঃ) ..... মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু সা'দ থেকে তার পিতার সূত্রে বর্ণিত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ মাস এরূপ, এরূপ এবং এরূপ অর্থাৎ দশ দিন এবং নয় দিন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৩৯৩, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Muhammad b. Sa'd reported on the authority of his father (Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas (Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had said:Tho month is thus and thus, and thus, i. e. ten, ten and nine
ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া, ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু আইয়ুব, কুতায়বাহ ও ইবনু হুজুর (রহঃ) ...... কুরায়ব (রহঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
হারিসের কন্যা উম্মুল ফাযল তাকে সিরিয়ায় মুআবিয়াহ (রাযিঃ) এর নিকট পাঠালেন। কুরায়ব বলেন, অতঃপর আমি সিরিয়া পৌছে তার প্রয়োজনীয় কাজ সমাপন করলাম। আমি সিরিয়ায় থাকতেই রমযান এসে গেল। আমি জুমুআর রাতে রমযানের চাঁদ দেখতে পেলাম। অতঃপর মাসের শেষদিকে আমি মাদীনায় ফিরে এলাম। আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আব্বাস (রাযিঃ) সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) সম্পর্কে আলোচনা প্রসঙ্গে আমাদের জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, তুমি কখন চাঁদ দেখেছ? আমি বললাম, আমি তো জুমুআর রাতেই চাঁদ দেখেছি। তিনি পুনরায় জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, তুমি নিজেই কি তা দেখেছ? আমি বললাম, হ্যাঁ, অন্যান্য লোকেরাও দেখেছে এবং তারা সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করেছে। এমনকি মু'আবিয়াহ্ (রাযিঃ)-ও সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করছেন। তিনি বলেন, আমরা তো শনিবার রাতে চাঁদ দেখেছি, আমরা পূর্ণ ত্রিশটি রোযা রাখব অথবা এর আগে যদি চাঁদ দেখতে পাই তাহলে তখন ইফত্বার করব। আমি বললাম, আপনি কি মু'আবিয়াহ (রাযিঃ) এর চাঁদ দেখা ও সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করাকে (রমাযান মাস শুরু হওয়ার জন্য) যথেষ্ট মনে করেন না? তিনি বললেনঃ না, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের এভাবেই (চাঁদ দেখে সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করা ও ইফতার করার জন্য) নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৩৯৫, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Kuraib reported that Umm Fadl, daughter of Harith, sent him (Fadl, i.e. her son) to Mu'awiya in Syria. I (Fadl) arrived in Syria, and did the needful for her. It was there in Syria that the month of Ramadan commenced. I saw the new moon (of Ramadan) on Friday. I then came back to Medina at the end of the month. Abdullah b. 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with him) asked me (about the new moon of Ramadan) and said:When did you see it? I said: We saw it on the night of Friday. He said: (Did) you see it yourself? I said: Yes, and the people also saw it and they fasted and Mu'awiya also fasted, whereupon he said: But we saw it on Saturday night. So we will continue to fast till we complete thirty (fasts) or we see it (the new moon of Shawwal). I said: Is the sighting of the moon by Mu'awiya not valid for you? He said: No; this is how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has commanded us. Yahya b. Yahya was in doubt (whether the word used in the narration by Kuraib) was Naktafi or Taktafi
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তার এক হাত দিয়ে অপর হাতের উপর আঘাত করলেন। অতঃপর তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বললেন, মাস এভাবে এবং এভাবে। তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) তৃতীয়বারে একটি আঙ্গুল নীচু করে রাখলেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৩৯২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas (Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) struck his hand against the other and (then with the gesture of his two hands) said:The month is thus, thus (two times). He then withdrew (one of) his fingers at the third turn
