ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া, ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু আইয়ুব, কুতায়বাহ ইবনু সাঈদ ও ইবনু হুজুর (রহঃ) ..... আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু উমর (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে বলতে শুনেছি, তোমরা চাঁদ দেখে সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন কর (রাখা শুরু কর) এবং চাঁদ দেখে ইফত্বার কর। আর যদি আকাশ মেঘাচ্ছন্ন থাকে তাহলে ত্রিশ দিনে মাস পূর্ণ কর। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৩৭২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:The month may consist of twenty-nine nights. So do not fast till you have sighted it (the new moon) and do not break it till you have sighted it, except when the sky is cloudy for you, and if it is so, then calculate it
হারমালাহ ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... ইবনু উমার (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ মাস উনত্রিশ দিনে হয়ে থাকে। তাই তোমরা নতুন চাঁদ দেখে সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) রাখা শুরু কর এবং নতুন চাঁদ (শাওয়ালের চাঁদ) দেখে ইফত্বার কর (ঈদ কর)। আর আকাশ মেঘে ঢাকা থাকলে মাসের ত্রিশ দিন পূর্ণ কর।” (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৩৭১, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abdullah b. Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported Allah's Measenger (ﷺ) as saying:When you see the new moon, observe fast, and when you see it (again) then break it, and if the sky is cloudy for you, then calculate it
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، - رضى الله عنهما - يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا " . وَقَبَضَ إِبْهَامَهُ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ .
হারূন ইবনু আবদুল্লাহ (রহঃ) ..... ইবনু উমর (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ এত দিনে, এত দিনে এবং এত দিনে মাস হয়। তৃতীয়বার তিনি তার বৃদ্ধাঙ্গুলটি বন্ধ করে রাখলেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৩৭৩, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:The month is thus and thus and thus (i. e. pointing with his fingers thrice), and he held back his thumb at the third time (in order to show that it can also consist of twenty-nine days)
হুমায়দ ইবনু মাস আদাহ্ আল বাহিলী (রহঃ) ..... ইবনু উমর (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ সাধারণত মাস উনত্রিশ দিনে হয়ে থাকে। তাই (রমাযানের) চাঁদ না দেখে সিয়াম (রোজা/রোযা) পালন করো না এবং ইফতারও করো না। আর আকাশ মেঘে ঢাকা থাকলে মাসের ত্রিশদিন পূর্ণ কর। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২৩৭০, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abdullah b. 'Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:The month (of Ramadan) may consist of twenty nine days; so when you see the new moon observe fast and when you see (the new moon again at the commencement of the month of Shawwal) then break It, and if the sky is cloudy for you, then calculate it (and complete thirty days)
