মুহাম্মদ ইবনু রাফি (রহঃ) ... আবূ সাঈদ আল খুদরী (রাযিঃ) বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদের মাঝে বর্তমান থাকা অবস্থায় আমরা ছোট-বড়, আযাদ-গোলাম প্রত্যেকের পক্ষ থেকে তিন ধরনের জিনিস যথা- এক সা' খেজুর অথবা এক সা' পনির অথবা এক সা’ বার্লি (যব) দিয়ে ফিতরা আদায় করতাম। আমরা এভাবেই ফিতরা আদায় করে আসছিলাম। অতঃপর মু'আবিয়াহ্ রাষ্ট্রীয় ক্ষমতায় এসে রায় দিলেন যে, দু মুদ্দ গম এক সা' খেজুরের সমান (বিনিময়ের দিক থেকে)। আবূ সাঈদ (রাযিঃ) বলেন, কিন্তু আমি পূর্বের নিয়মেই ফিতরা আদায় করে আসছি। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ২১৫৪, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Sa'd b. Abu Sarh heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri as saying:We, on behalf of young or old, free or slave, used to take out the Zakat of Fitr while the Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) was among us, in three kinds, one sa' of dates, one sa' of cheese, or one sa' of barley, and we continued to take that out till the time of Mu'awiya, for he saw that two mudds of wheat were equal to one sa' of dates. Abu Sa'id sald: I would continue to take that out as before (i e. one sa' of wheat)
আমর আন নাকিদ (রহঃ) ..... আবূ সাঈদ আল খুদরী (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
মুআবিয়াহ (রাযিঃ) এক সা' খেজুরের পরিবর্তে অর্ধ সা' গম (ফিতরার জন্য) নির্ধারণ করলে আবূ সাঈদ (রাযিঃ) এর বিরোধিতা করলেন এবং বললেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সময় যেভাবে এক সা' খেজুর বা শুকনা আঙ্গুর বা যব বা পনির দিতাম এখনো আমি সে পরিমাণেই দিব। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২১৫৬, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that when Mu'awiya prescribed half a sa' of wheat equal to one sa' of dates, he (Abu Sa'id al-Khudri) objected to it, and said:I would take out (Sadaqat-ul-Fitr) but that which I used to bring forth during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) one sa' of dates, or one sa' of raisins, or one sa' of barley, or one sa' of cheese
আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসলামাহ ইবনু কা'নাব (রহঃ) ..... আবূ সাঈদ আল খুদরী (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর জীবদ্দশায় আমরা ছোট, বড়, স্বাধীন, ক্রীতদাস- প্রত্যেকের পক্ষ থেকে এক সা’ খাদ্য (অর্থাৎ গম) বা এক সা’ পনির, বা এক সা’ যব বা এক সা’ খেজুর বা এক সা’ শুষ্ক আঙ্গুর ফিতরা হিসেবে বের করতাম। আমরা এভাবেই ফিতরা আদায় করে আসছিলাম। শেষ পর্যন্ত যখন মু'আবিয়াহ (রাযিঃ) হাজ্জ (হজ্জ/হজ) বা উমরার উদ্দেশে আমাদের মাঝে গমন করলেন, তিনি লোকদের উদ্দেশে ওয়ায করলেন এবং বললেনঃ আমি জানি যে, সিরিয়ার দু' মুদ্দ লাল গম এক সা’ খেজুরের সমান। সুতরাং লোকেরা তার এ অভিমত গ্রহণ করল। আবূ সাঈদ বলেন, কিন্তু আমি যতদিন জীবিত থাকব ততদিন পূর্বের ন্যায় যে পরিমাণে ও যে নিয়মে দিচ্ছিলাম সেভাবেই দিতে থাকব। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ২১৫৩, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abd Sa'id al-Khudri reported:We, on behalf of every young or old, free man or slave (amongst us), used to take out during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as the Zakat of Fitr one sa' of grain, or one sa' of cheese or one sa' of raisins. And we continued taking out these till Mu'awiya b. Abu Sufyan came to us for pilgrimage or 'Umra, and addressed the people on the pulpit and said to them: I see that two mudds of zakat out of the wheat (red) of Syria is equal to one sa' of dates. So the people accepted it. But Abu Sa'id said: I would continue to take out as I used to take out (before, i e. one sa') as long as I live
