কাসিম ইবনু যাকারিয়্যা (রহঃ) ..... আমর ইবনু মুররাহ (রহঃ) থেকে এ সূত্রে বর্ণিত হয়েছে। অতঃপর তারা বললেন, আমরা একবার রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সাথে ছিলাম। এমন সময় আমাদের নিকট দিয়ে একটি লাশ অতিক্রম করল। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ২০৯৪, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abu Laila that while Qais b. Sa'd and Sahl b. Hunaif were both in Qadislyya a bier passed by them and they both stood up. They were told that it was the bier of one of the people of the land (non-Muslim). They said that a bier passed before the Prophet (ﷺ) and he stood up. He was told that he (the dead man) was a Jew. Upon this he remarked:Was he not a human being or did he not have a soul? And in the hadith narrated by 'Amr b. Murra with the same chain of transmitters, (the words) are:" There passed a bier before us
আমরা এক জানাযায় দাঁড়িয়ে ছিলাম। এমন সময় নাফি ইবনু জুবায়র আমাকে দেখতে পেলেন। তিনি তখন লাশ নীচে রাখার জন্য বসে বসে অপেক্ষা করছিলেন। তিনি আমাকে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, তুমি এখানে দাঁড়িয়ে আছ কেন? আমি উত্তর দিলাম। লাশটি রাখার অপেক্ষায় দাঁড়িয়ে আছি। কেননা আবূ সাঈদ আল খুদরী (রাযিঃ) এর সম্পর্কে বর্ণনা করেছেন। নাফি' (রাযিঃ) এ কথা শুনে বললেন, মাসউদ ইবনু হাকাম (রহঃ) আলী ইবনু আবূ তলিব (রাযিঃ) এর সূত্রে আমাকে জানিয়েছেন। তিনি বলেছেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম প্রথমে দাঁড়িয়েছেন পরে বসে গেছেন (এ অভ্যাস পরিত্যাগ করেছেন)। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ২০৯৫, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
It is narrated on the authority of Waqid:Nafi' b. Jubair saw me and we were standing for a bier, while he was sitting and waiting for the bier to be placed on the ground. He said to me: What makes you keep standing? I said: I am waiting that the bier may be placed on the ground (and I am doing that) on the hadith narrated to me by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri. Upon this Nafi' said: Verily, Mas'ud b. Hakam reported to me on the authority of Hadrat 'Ali b. Abu Talib that the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up first (for a bier) and then sat down
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَيْضًا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَصْحَابُهُ لِجَنَازَةِ يَهُودِيٍّ حَتَّى تَوَارَتْ .
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু রাফি (রহঃ) ..... আবুয যুবায়র (রহঃ) থেকে আরও বর্ণিত হয়েছে যে, তিনি জাবির (রাযিঃ) কে বলতে শুনেছেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ও তার সাহাবীগণ এক ইয়াহুদীর লাশ যেতে দেখে এবং তা চোখের আড়াল না হওয়া পর্যন্ত দাঁড়িয়ে থাকলেন। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ২০৯২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Again Abu Zubair heard Jabir say that the Prophet (ﷺ) and his Companions kept standing for a bier of a Jew until it disappeared from sight
মুহাম্মাদ ইবনু মুসান্না, ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম ও ইবনু আবূ উমার (রহঃ) ..... মাসউদ ইবনু হাকাম আল আনসারী (রাযিঃ) আলী ইবনু আবূ তলিব (রাযিঃ) কে জানাযার ব্যাপারে বলতে শুনেছেনঃ রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম প্রথম দিকে দাঁড়াতেন এবং পরে বসে পড়তেন। নাফি ইবনু জুবায়র কথাটা এজন্য বর্ণনা করেছেন যে, তিনি ওয়াকিদ ইবনু আমর (রাযিঃ) কে দেখলেন তিনি লাশ নীচে রাখার অপেক্ষায় দাঁড়িয়ে আছেন। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ২০৯৬, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Mas'ud b. al-Hakam al-Ansari informed Nafi' that he had heard Hadrat 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), son of Abu Talib, say about the biers:Verily, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to stand first but later on kept sitting; but it is also narrated that Nafi' ibn Jubair saw Waqid b. 'Amr standing for a bier till it was placed down
