উসমান ইবনু আবূ শায়বাহ ও ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম (রহঃ) ..... আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসউদ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, একদিন আমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সাথে সালাত আদায় করলাম। এ সালাতে তিনি কিরআত এত দীর্ঘায়িত করলেন যে, আমি একটি মন্দ ইচ্ছা করে বসলাম। আবূ ওয়ায়িল বলেছেন তাকে (আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু মাসউদকে) জিজ্ঞেস করা হ’ল, আপনি কী ধরনের মন্দ ইচ্ছা করেছিলেন? জবাবে তিনি বললেনঃ আমি বসে পড়ার এবং তার পিছনে এ সালাত পরিত্যাগ করার ইচ্ছা করেছিলাম। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৬৮৫, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abdullah reported:I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he lengthened it till I entertained an evil thought. It was said to him what that thought was. He said: I thought that I should sit down and forsake him
তিনি বলেন, এক রাতে আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সাথে তাহাজ্জুদের সালাত আদায় করলাম। তিনি সূরাহ আল বাকারাহ পড়তে শুরু করলে আমি ভাবলাম তিনি হয়ত একশ' আয়াত পড়ে রুকূ করবেন। কিন্তু এরপরেও তিনি পড়ে চললেন। তখন আমি চিন্তা করলাম। তিনি এর (সূরাহ আল বাকরাহ) দ্বারা পুরো দু' রাকাআত পড়ে সালাম ফিরাবেন। কিন্তু তিনি এরপরেও পড়তে থাকলে আমি ভাবলাম সূরাটি শেষ করে তিনি রুকূ করবেন। কিন্তু এরপর তিনি সূরাহ নিসা পড়তে শুরু করলেন এবং তা পাঠ করলেন, অতঃপর তিনি সূরাহ আ-লি ইমরান শুরু করলেন এবং তা পাঠ করলেন। তিনি থেমে থেমে ধীরে ধীরে পড়ছিলেন এবং তাসবীর আয়াত আসলে তাসবীহ পড়ছিলেন আর কিছু চাওয়ার আয়াত আসলে চাইলেন। যখন আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করার কোন আয়াত পড়ছিলেন তখন আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছিলেন। অতঃপর তিনি রুকূ’ করলেন। রুকূ’তে তিনি বলতে থাকলেন, "সুবহা-না রব্বিয়াল আযীম" (আমার মহান প্রভু পবিত্র, আমি তার পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করছি)। তার রুকু কিয়ামের মতই দীর্ঘ ছিল। এরপর “সামি'আল্ল-ই লিমান হামিদাহ” (আল্লাহ শুনে থাকেন যে তার প্রশংসা করে) বললেনঃ এরপর যতক্ষণ সময় রুকু করেছিলেন প্রায় ততক্ষণ সময় পর্যন্ত দাঁড়িয়ে থাকলেন। এরপর সিজদা করলেন। সাজদাতে তিনি বললেন, "সুবহা-না রব্বিয়াল আ'লা-" (মহান সুউচ্চ সত্তা আমার প্রভু পবিত্র, আমি তার পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করছি)। তার এ সাজদায়ও প্রায় কিয়ামের সময়ের মতো দীর্ঘায়িত হলো। হাদীসটির বর্ণনাকারী বলেন যে, জারীর বর্ণিত হাদীসে এতটুকু কথা অধিক আছেঃ তিনি (রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম রুকু থেকে উঠে) বললেন, "সামি'আল্ল-হু লিমান হামিদাহ, রব্বানা- লাকাল হামদ" (আল্লাহ শুনেন যে ব্যক্তি তার প্রশংসা করে। হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক, তোমার জন্যই সব প্রশংসা)। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৬৮৪, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Hudhaifa reported:I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) one night and he started reciting al-Baqara. I thought that he would bow at the end of one hundred verses, but he proceeded on; I then thought that he would perhaps recite the whole (surah) in a rak'ah, but he proceeded and I thought he would perhaps bow on completing (this surah). He then started al-Nisa', and recited it; he then started Al-i-'Imran and recited leisurely. And when he recited the verses which referred to the Glory of Allah, he glorified (by saying Subhan Allah-Glory to my Lord the Great), and when he recited the verses which tell (how the Lord) is to be begged, he (the Holy Prophet) would then beg (from Him), and when he recited the verses dealing with protection from the Lord, he sought (His) protection and would then bow and say: Glory be to my Mighty Lord; his bowing lasted about the same length of time as his standing (and then on returning to the standing posture after ruku') he would say: Allah listened to him who praised Him, and he would then stand about the same length of time as he had spent in bowing. He would then prostrate himself and say: Glory be to my Lord most High, and his prostration lasted nearly the same length of time as his standing. In the hadith transmitted by Jarir the words are:" He (the Holy Prophet) would say:" Allah listened to him who praised Him, our Lord, to Thee i the praise
যুহায়র ইবনু হারব এবং ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম (রহঃ) ..... আ'রাজ (রহঃ) থেকে একই সানাদে হাদীসটি বর্ণনা করেছেন। এতে তিনি বলেছেনঃ সালাত শুরু করার সময় রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাকবীর বলতেন তারপরে “ওয়াজ্জাহতু ওয়াজহী” বলতেন। এরপর শেষের দিকে “ওয়া আনা- আওওয়ালুল মুসলিমীন” বলতেন। এ হাদীসে তিনি আরো বলেছেনঃ যখন তিনি রুকূ’ থেকে মাথা উঠাতেন তখন "সামি'আল্ল-হু লিমান হামিদাহ, রব্বানা- ওয়ালাকাল হামদ” এবং তিনি “ওয়া সাওওয়ারাহ ফা আহসানা সুওয়ারাহু”-ও বলতেন (অর্থাৎ- তিনি আকৃতি দান করেছেন এবং উত্তম আকৃতি দান করেছেন।)। এ বর্ণনাতে আরো আছে, তিনি যখন সালাম ফিরাতেন তখন “আল্ল-হুম্মাগ ফিরলী মা- কুদ্দামতু” কথাটি থেকে শুরু করে পূর্বোক্ত হাদীসের শেষ পর্যন্ত বলতেন। আর তিনি তাশাহহুদ ও সালামের কথা বলেননি। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৬৮৩, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
A'raj reported that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would start the prayer, he would pronounce takbir (Allah-o-Akbar) and then say:I turn my face (up to Thee), I am the first of the believers; and when he raised his head from ruku' he said: Allah listened to him who praised Him; O our Lord, praise be to Thee; and he said: He shaped (man) and how fine is his shape? And he (the narrator) said: When he pronounced salutation he said: O Allah, forgive me my earlier (sins), to the end of the hadith; and he did not say it between the Tashahhud and salutation (as mentioned above)
