Zuhri reported this hadith with the same chain of transmitters, except this that he made a mention of one year or two years
তিনি বলেন, আমার কাছে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে যে, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ কেউ বসে সালাত আদায় করলে তা অর্ধেক সালাতের সমকক্ষ। আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আমর বর্ণনা করেছেন, এরপর একদিন আমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কাছে গিয়ে দেখলাম তিনি বসে সালাত আদায় করেছেন। আমি তার মাথার উপর আমার হাত রাখলাম। তিনি বললেনঃ হে 'আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আম্র কী ব্যাপার? আমি বললাম, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! আমার কাছে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে যে, আপনি বলেছেনঃ কেউ বসে সালাত আদায় করলে তা অর্ধেক সালাতের সমান হয়। কিন্তু এখন দেখেছি আপনি নিজেই বসে সালাত আদায় করছেন। এ কথা শুনে রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেনঃ হ্যাঁ, তবে আমি তোমাদের কারো মত না*। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৫৮৫, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abdullah b. 'Amr reported:It was narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had said: The prayer observed by a person sitting is half of the prayer. I came to him (ﷺ) and found him praying in a sitting position. I placed my hand on his head. He said: O 'Abdullah b. 'Amr, what is the matter with you? I said: Messenger of Allah, it has been narrated to me that you said: The prayer of a man in a sitting position is half of the prayer, whereas you are observing prayer sitting. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Yes, it is so, but I am not like anyone amongst you
ইয়াহইয়াহ ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) .... হাফসাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে কখনো বসে নফল সালাত আদায় করতে দেখিনি। পরবর্তী সময়ে তার ওয়াফাতের এক বছর পূর্বে তাকে বসে নফল সালাত আদায় করতে দেখেছি। তিনি অতি উত্তমরূপে স্পষ্টভাবে ধীরে ধীরে সুরাহ পড়তেন। এ কারণে তার সালাত দীর্ঘ থেকে দীর্ঘতর হয়ে যেত। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৫৮২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Hafsa reported:Never did I see the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observing supererogatory prayer sitting till one year before his death when he would observe Nafl prayer in a sitting position, and he would recite the Surah (of the Qur'an) in such a slow-measured tone (that duration of its recital) became more lengthy than the one longer than this
