তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর বয়স যখন বেশী হয়ে শরীর ভারী হয়ে গিয়েছিল তখন তিনি অধিকাংশ সালাত বসে বসে আদায় করতেন। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৫৮১, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
A'isha reported:When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) grew bulky and heavy he would observe (most of his Nafl) prayers sitting
ইয়াহইয়াহ ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) .... হাফসাহ (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত:
তিনি বলেন, আমি রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে কখনো বসে নফল সালাত আদায় করতে দেখিনি। পরবর্তী সময়ে তার ওয়াফাতের এক বছর পূর্বে তাকে বসে নফল সালাত আদায় করতে দেখেছি। তিনি অতি উত্তমরূপে স্পষ্টভাবে ধীরে ধীরে সুরাহ পড়তেন। এ কারণে তার সালাত দীর্ঘ থেকে দীর্ঘতর হয়ে যেত। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৫৮২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Hafsa reported:Never did I see the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observing supererogatory prayer sitting till one year before his death when he would observe Nafl prayer in a sitting position, and he would recite the Surah (of the Qur'an) in such a slow-measured tone (that duration of its recital) became more lengthy than the one longer than this
তিনি বলেন, আমি আয়িশাহ (রাযিঃ) কে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম। এতটুকু বর্ণনা করার পর তিনি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে পূর্বোক্ত হাদীসের অনুরূপ হাদীস বর্ণনা করেছেন। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৫৭৯, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)
Abdullah b. Shaqiq reported:I said to 'A'isha and she made a mention of that (recorded above) about the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
